A lot of the guys that do these reviews are just boring to listen to but your humor and way you deliver information makes it fun to watch. Nice work! I ordered a pair of the TUKs that I get next week.....super excited.
I have the TUKs + SUB 8. Using their RCA inputs from a Cambridge Audio DAC Magic 100. Source is iTunes (mostly ALAC) and Amazon Prime HD from Macbook Pro. Really happy...good-quality recordings are rewarded! But be aware that the AMT tweeters are unforgiving in revealing flaws in lesser recordings.

These are high-end active speakers for smaller spaces. Not just excellent, but spectacular. Plan on getting a good subwoofer such as an SVS. Is there any way to defeat the "standby" mode? It drives me crazy!
It's in the manual: "If you do not find the Automatic Power Up (APU) feature useful, you can disable it by pressing the Treble Reset button on the remote and holding it for 5 seconds. The Input LED will blink once to indicate that you have disabled the APU feature. To enable APU if you have disabled it, simply press and hold the Treble Reset button again for 5 seconds. The Input LED will blink twice to indicate that you have enabled APU. If you do not find the Automatic Power Down (APD) feature useful, you can disable it by pressing the Bass Reset button on the remote and holding it for 5 seconds. The Input LED will blink once to indicate that you have disabled the APD feature. To enable APD if you have disabled it, simply press and hold the Bass Reset button again for 5 seconds. The Input LED will blink twice to indicate that you have enabled APD.

Can you plug in a DAC so I can use my giant knob wheel and have my headphone jack right in front of me using the rca input or will that screw with the sound?
Hi just to ask if comparing with HD6 of the similar pricr range which one has better sound quality and bass? For TUK, does the grill makes the speaker sounds muffled?? Because i tested one (max phone volume and slowly tune up speaker volume) set using spotify bluetooth the clarity fails flat compared to YU6.
Well... This is what it meant to be the flagship model...whoever has the budget, just go for it... As for me, with the budget that I have, I will stick to the YU4

For Music Only stere 2.0 use. Tuc? YU6? YU4? YU? (I've watched each of your Kanto videos but am on a low end Edifier budget and cant decide if I really want to spend my retirement dollars...i'll need the in a year or two!) Thanks! Your Kanto videos are great!
Thanks for reviewing the Kanto Tuks. I bought my used pair for $599 USD. And purchased my used Sub8 for $199. In audio, I believe in silver, tubes and AMTs (tweeter). But Kanto has built, what they believe, the best speaker they knew how to build in this limited size. My dream from Kanto is to build a speaker with two woofers. I’d be able to keep it a desktop system and I can see that as the King of desktop audio speakers. I installed 16 gauge bare soft silver core cables surrounded by an 8 gauge teflon jacket. I kept them non terminated. Again, thanks for reviewing these excellent speakers and I appreciate your stamp of approval.
The price is kinda mind boggling 😂. I will hv to save tht amount of money for my future pc setup instead lol. But im pretty sure tht speakers must be one of the best if not the best speakers for desktop. Personally i wont spend tht much money for a speaker but maybe just like u said if money is not an object ill buy it 😂

I’ve owned so many speakers ranging from hundreds to thousands of pounds and these Kanto TUK’s are amazing for the price 👌🏻

Its time they update the speaker. Better BT, DAC , USB... connections (Its 4 years old now)
I think the Airpulse a300 takes the crown for best desktop speaker. They've edged out everything.
