    Go into the exam with a positive attitude. Don’t focus on what you don’t know and how you’re going to bomb the test. Instead, believe that you can do well, otherwise you won’t focus on the exam. You might even want to say to yourself, “I can do this.”

    1. Don't focus on what you do not know. Go into the exam with a positive attitude but believe that you can do well. 'I can do this.'
    2. Don't talk to your classmates about the exam before.
    3. Do not focus on what the other students are doing.
    4. Wear clothing that is suitable i.e clothes you can unzip when it's hot
    5. Be in a comfortable position i.e not hunched up
    6. Walk to the bathroom even if you do not have to go. Walking will help you. Don't hold it in if you have to really go
    7. Breathe Deeply. Focus on your breathing.
    8. Look at the questions and focus on how you are going to tackle the questions
    9. Take a watch with you as the exam hall may not have a clock
    10. Focus on a pleasurable location
    11. Yawn - Helps regulate brain temperature
    12. Look at the exam in perspective. This exam does not define you!
    *Own Advice*
    1. If possible, try to space out your revision over a good amount of time. Leave a month or more to delve into all of the topics for big tests! It will be worth it in the end. This way you would also be less anxious as you know that you have covered all of the content!
    2. Go out after the exam even if it for a small snack. Praise yourself and know that everything will be okay regardless of how the exam will go!

    I have the same problem. I am good at both maths and physics and i can do even the hardest questions at home but during exams i mess up solely because i get nervous. I really hope that in the upcoming exams i will be able to slay through and not get nervous.❤

    I had a test today. I was really well prepared but during the test i started stressing and changing some of my answers. Couldve had a really good mark but now i have a 6/10.

    My heart rate is usually around 100-105 and during test it goes up at 115-120 and then the sweat triggers, after listening to 30min of music doing nothing and a 10mg of propranolol it made my heart rate down to 80-85, I honestly felt AMAZING, like a walk in the park, I do have the neck and back stiffness but other than that I felt truly great, btw I only take that dose before a test, not frequently

    I am so damn good at physics ; so good that even teachers get confused by my doubts but I messed up everything during the exam and out of all the subjects I scored lowest in physics even lower than History which I hate the most . So let's see if this is gonna help me 😐

    Last week I had a programming exam, and it was my first exam after a long time studying in front of the PC. I was nervous and even though I thought I could go through this, I couldn't make one just because I wasn't thinking well, because of my nervousness. When I got home, I decided to redo that question, and guess what, I managed to do it in less than five minutes. I started to get frustrated, but as I would say: Frustration is the thrill of learning!
    After that episode, I discovered that I'd need to learn how to manage my anxiety during the test, because I've had the knowledge to do that one, but nervousness ruined everything. Thanks for the tips, and after my second exam, I'm gonna try to report here if anything has changed.

    I have dyslexia and I'm finishing mechanical engineering, when I get too anxious I switch the numbers (and I almost always get too anxious) so I fail some classes even though I know how to do what I'm supposed to do. But the calculator says 284, I write 248 and don't even notice and that leads to a whole wrong answer because of a wrong number

      Make sure to see a professional counselor, who might have more strategies. A friend of mine failed the bar exam several times before seeking professional help. They gave her some medicine and she passed. No shame in seeking help when you need it.

      But I'm out now, I'm officially a Mechanical Engineer, so no more exams for me, at least for a while 🙂

      Don't worry about the result, and instead focus on what you control: your time. Work hard and go into the test knowing you did your best.

    Yesterday i had an math exam.. I was so nervous that i did terrible. The questions were sooo easy but i messed up. And it was so hot. There was no fan ontop of me and i was sweating waayyy to much.

    Hi sir I am really so bad at Maths and most of the subject so I get super nervous whenever I am in exam I just always think that I can't do it even if I try focusing something good and still mess it up so I watched you video I just looked up everything I felt a bit good but I'm still learning wish me luck I hope I get very good marks can make my parents happy I am going to be happy but I try so hard to learn but still I am getting bad marks and my parents I'm not even having hope for me so I am super nervous and they are telling that i am dumb.     I only have this problem in maths. though i am very good at it, but, as soon as i see a question for which i cant think of a solution, i panic as hell. because of this, i start misreading other questions. sometimes i consider diameter to be the radius. sometimes meters to centimeters. this hinders my performance seriously.

      Hope it goes well. Think about the moment, not the future. In other words, stay focused on what you can control and rely on all the time you’ve spent preparing for the exam.

    I have a theory drivers license test and i have been reading so much to it and still i failed 😟beacuse of the stress now i have it again on Tuesday wish me luck😶

      If you are failing due to stress it might be worth it to talk to a counselor. At a minimum, you might pick up some calming techniques. Hope you pass this time.
