@@VoskCoin Safe bet to leave the fans at 100% manually. Also something's not right if you try to mine RandomX for a different coin on certain pools. All sorts of errors pop up. Maybe main processor or VRMs are getting baked when the thing is hashing full-tilt but software is buggy and ramps down the fans mistakenly. I don't know for sure what the cause is and don't have one here to check into.
Honestly I don't think this was worth it.6$a day and you paid 3.k for it.somin a month you will make 180$ 12 months 2.160. Two years 4k .then the electric bill .and mantanance nah it's wasn't worth it .not being a negative just honest?
@@LordVenom45619 No it wasn't worth it for me either. Now that we know it can only mine Monero and self-destructs sometimes in less than a week, it's even less worth it. Power efficiency is on part with a 7950x. This is a really old RISC technology.
The problem is bitmain is shady like the last XMR miner they dropped back when they used cryptoniteR the monero devs privately told bitmain that because of there miner they were emergency forking to randomX and what does bitmain do? Do they tell customers they won't be able to mine the only cryptoniteR coin worthwhile? No they put it on sale.........lol
I notice you always say and workout your gains from the cost of electricity your using. Missus this. But do you account the exactly cost of the miner machine. Costing 2k-6k each. The time it takes to get your money back this also?
depends on your budget, goals, and coins you like, but tbh the X5 would be a good first ASIC miner, an S19K pro is another good option, or a KS0 to dabble in asic mining but their profits have dropped a lot and their prices are lagging behind that
Mining Monero to me is not about making money, but breaking even in order to keep the network running. It's a labor of love given how critical Monero is to countering the inflation of fiat and the blockades on commerce by governments.
I think you have to be a believer in xmr i started my crypto with mining them. And i get the x5 just for the good profit i made on monero in the past. Love the coin!
I tried using my 3060 laptop with AMD 4800H, and it is giving 1400 hash / second, and I think it is giving out 0.12 XMR PER YEAR. Is it a joke? I checked the benchmark table online for Apple M2, and it is like 0.18 XMR PER YEAR... it is like giving me a few cents per day. Yet, why is XMR being "emitted" quite a bit per day? Is Vosk's video saying it is the 3rd or 4th top emitted coin each day?
I need to sit down and run the numbers, there’s a huge ease of use and deployment at scale with an “ASIC” compared to a diy cpu rig and I know bitmain wants to cash in on that lol
@@VoskCoin only on the epyc dual that would have matched price, but they have better epyc but the cost about a lot more for the 9554, but those are stupid over priced so I leave them out
Buy your own Bitmain Antminer X5 here - voskco.in/x5
I am adding HDD miners to my mining farm! voskco.in/evg
*Save some coin with code VOSKCOIN*
Monero is definitely special
Private by default and Fungible.
Careful with the X5s, a lot of hashboards are failing and fast. Allegedly $itmain is refusing to repair in some cases.
I read a few posts like that but so far my miner has been fine, fwiw it wasn’t sourced directly through Bitmain either

How many XMR coin can you mine per day with 1 bitmian mining unit ?
1.6 years ROI not bad not good? also use p2pool not 2miners. These also are not ASIC miners they are just CPU boards

Bitmain has always been shady... This is so not worth it and such a shame really.
You tend to spend on equipment, what keeps your cash flow floating

because we dont need these types of ASIC mining in monero sphere
Are you better off just building some EPYC rigs? After all, with the DIY you can switch coins/algos...
Same price after build
@@sk1fpvOk, so a DIY is more flexible and more profitable since you don't have to mine XRM
