The odds of winning the jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery are about 1 in 302.5 million. For Powerball, the odds are slightly better at 1 in 292.2 million. Comparatively, the odds of successfully mining Bitcoin with a tiny miner are about 1 in 34,000 per year. So, while both are long shots, the lottery odds are even more daunting.
Definitely a lottery ticket. The Bit Axe Gamma the "Best" model: Chance per block: 1 in 763,236,364, Chance per day: 1 in 5,300,253, Time estimate: 14,521 years
Do your research! Google, eBay (look at not just what is for sale but sold prices), and then spend another day reading/ watching videos. In my opinion, a terrible way to start mining, odds are you will never see a return and better odds are you already have a computer with either a decent cpu or a 8gb or better gpu. These things are really cool and I would buy one but more of a novelty. You can also take old full size asics and with custom firmware tune them WAY down.
I just used your link to buy a BitAxe Gamma! I plan on getting four more after I test the first one! Your video was very informative and gave me a lot of ideas! We’ll let you know when I hit my first block! 😂 I’ll give you a 10% finders fee if I do!!

Why get a Bitaxe when I can buy a Avalon Nano 3 for $250 on Amazon and get 4 T/h and the best Bitaxe is $289 and only does 1.1 T/h . I will just keep buying Nanos.
I have the nano 3 it's first miner since I don't have the budget for a bigger miner yet, would love those dogecoin 120v , but in the meantime those bitaxe look decent for a cheap solar setup that I have, that's probably my next project, go green go solar.
100% Love these lotto tickets. Got my 6 axes cranking. You forgot the fun of tinkering and overclocking these babies. Super fun. my gamma is running 1.35ghs rock solid on 20w
If a person has the extra money then I think it's worth trying for sure. I've seen people spend $60 per week on playing the lottery and it has far worse odds.
Most profitable:)))) Funny ... This mini miner's best difficulty is around 75M ONLY... With the current BTC difficulty of 108.11 T it will never hit the block ...
If I used the Bitaxe Gamma solely for mining, as opposed to the lottery mode, what would you estimate its return in terms of fractional Bitcoin mined (per device)?
It's not for pool mining. I think I saw someone compute the return on investment at 14,000 years. I would lose interest by then. 🤣 You're buying it as a reoccurring daily lottery ticket that has a payout chance way greater than State lotteries.
I'm new to this so tons of questions, but my main one is, you buy these miners to be part of a lotery? So are you mining BTC and thus making a small return or just helping with the network and being part of the lottery? Thanks in advance.
Helping the network and part of btc mining lottery basically, you can pool mine and earn small returns, but then you can’t hit a block and “win the btc lottery”
Hi. Not sure if this is a mistake, but at 12:54 you show the chances of winning a block when talking about the 1TH Bitaxe Gamma, but the screen that shows the chances is set to GH/s.
This is the older model, Ultra with a lower hashrate, people don’t really even make/sell my old model anymore, you can buy the bitaxe gamma now, a much better deal, and the screen you’re talking about had the data from that
Oh wow, that's nice information. As an electrical engineer, I'll definitely take a look at the DIY, I have everything here to build them. I've calculated for 10 units, there's around 35$ of digikey parts per unit, 13$ for 10 pcb, 7$ for a stencil, 5$ for the heatsink + fan (+12$ for Noctua fan), 2$ for the screen, 14$ for the s19xp chip . So 580$ for 10 diy bitaxe, hmmmm could be a nice project!

ok ok .. just putting this out there. How do you ACTUALLY know that it mines to you wallet, like it could say it does, but if it mines a block one day, it could have another hardcoded wallet where the bitcoin would then go to.. kind of smart, they have you pay them for the hardware, and the power... to only grift you out of the Bitcoin at the very end..

I have zero clue as to how farming works and how to make money, then depositing the earning into my credit union. Is that how it works?
I love the idea of this but just sent my BitAxe back for a refund. It took 3 rounds of production before I finally got one before they sold out and when it came it wouldn’t connect with any pools. At first it did nothing but run the fan, then it finally said it was hashing but it didn’t show on either of the pools I had it connected to. Then, after about a week it just started overheating. After the first overheat it wouldn’t hash or stay on for more than 30 seconds before overheating again. I really hope to get another one if they produce more. I am sure I was just unlucky to get a defective unit.
Mining is dead. Unless you have millions of dollars for huge setups, it's never worth it. After the cost of electricity, it would take years to get your investment back unless you're lucky and start at the bottom of the cycle.
