That Teleportinator should've been in the game, even if it was only meant for multiplayer. It's 10x better than the lame warp pad that was only used once in the final game.
Honestly, the developer who coded the teleportinator has a youtube channel where they used to play the game. In one of the episodes he talks about the teleportinator, and he eleborates that in order for it to be implemented in a way that is non gamebreaking, they would have had to rework literally every level and they were too far into development. That's actually the specific reason you use the reworked gadget in the Qwark level, as it was too late to change the puzzle. The youtube channel is uselesspodcast, by the way
The Warp pad isnt even required to have. U can easily get through,without it. By the elevator u just have to be fast enough and dont destroy the boxes. And by the 2nd u just use the Chargeboots.

The Bomb Glove is such a legacy weapon at this point. Even though later entries have their own different takes on grenade launchers, the Bomb Glove will forever be the OG.
IMO it’s more likely that the whip wasn’t ready at the time but the game has to put something in ratchets hand or it would crash. For why it’s so big, usually, models aren’t made to the correct size by the artists, the game is responsible to scale them accordingly. No point in giving a proper scale to an unfinished weapon. Or it could’ve been on purpose, to make other developers aware that this isn’t ready yet. Less likely, but possible.

That's only because they were horribly nerfed for balancing reasons, because of anyone who had an R&C1 save file being able to immediately get them all for free very early into the game. Plus you can't upgrade them at all, so their already limited usefulness runs out extremely quickly. There's no excuse for the Mega versions being complete garbage, though, especially because they STILL can't be upgraded. I think had they brought back the R&C1 weapons for Up Your Arsenal, they would have been upgradable and operated similarly to the returning R&C2 weapons. Unlike Going Commando, those weapons were brought back perfectly, and they could have done the same for the Bomb Glove
I feel that was also made so that the RC1 Weapons wouldn't run the risk of overshadowing the new ones, which were supposed to be the focus of GC. And, yeah, in RC3 they handled this much better, even fixing the Lava-Jet Upgrade issue.. No more Meteor Gun!!
I think something else should be taken into consideration. Different people may have different tastes of playing the game or skills. Yes, the Decoy Glove may be useful for corrupting enemy behavior to the maximum - in an arena challenge when a dummy is attached to the magnetic cage or when fighting the Box Breaker Boss - put a dummy in the corner of the room with 4 Dynamo machines, close to the plant and watch the Boss attempt to whack thin air. This is one of the weapons that could be used for beating a stage in a clever, but cheap way. What about someone who is terrible at fighting, but very, and I mean VERY patient ? One could use Visibomb Gun to attack enemies from a remote location and replenish ammo if necessary. And what about someone who replays the first stage over and over until getting 1 million bolts, so one actually is able to afford RYNO II in the beginning ? Just because for most people it's extremely boring and nobody plays the game that way, doesn't mean that I don't ! But there are RC1 weapons in RC3 that can be upgraded ! There's Suck Cannon and Glove of Doom. Not that many, but still something.
More fun weapon facts: These are more cut functionalities than anything but still thought it would be fun to mention Infector: Used to have WAY more ammo at 200 and functioned more like a "flamethrower" or perhaps more like the morph weapons where it had a short range cloud of infectious goo that would spray at enemies instead of spitting out slow moving globs that roll around on the ground. Personally I would have preferred that over what we got but maybe that's just me Spitting Hydra: Along with locking onto multiple enemies it seemed to have a short range, single target zap as well, presumably what you would get if you just tapped the fire button instead of holding it down. I saw this while someone was playing through a demo version and I could be mistaken but that's what it looked like it did and again, I would have preferred that extra functionality. It would have given the weapon a little more utility and well-roundedness. Plasma Whip: Seemed to function the same but used to come with a whopping 75 ammo at V1 rather than 20! While some consider it to be a weak weapon maybe to them the 75 ammo would be justified, but if you use it right the whip is actually very powerful. The triple strike and the hyper strike aren't the most efficient ways to use it, throwing it yields a lot more damage as it hits targets many times for only using one ammo plus it stun locks most enemies to boot! With that in mind that's actually one difference I'm in favor of, as 75 ammo for that would have been way too strong especially if we consider that it's only 7500 bolts (even less of you have a RAC1 save file, and I assume most of us do.) Oh, and I would have loved to see the bomb glove return, especially if it upgraded with use like the rest of the weapons! Half the fun of playing UYA for me is upgrading weapons. It would have been cool to see what they could have done with it. Maybe the green explosions could have been the V5 upgrade or maybe they could have done something even crazier with it!
When I beat this game on the RaC Trilogy for PS3 I got a message saying I unlocked a weapon called the "Paradox ERR", obviously thats not the name of a weapon, but a coding error. Apparently it can corrupt your saves. Have you ever heard of this or done a video on it? This seems like the place it'd be mentioned XD I'm new to your channel by the way and its really amazing seeing all these things that were cut or changed from my favorite childhood franchise, subbed :D
Oh shit when you show the Sheepinator at 1:45 its named Paradox ERR, so its safe to assume you're very familiar with that term. So is there any idea to what was supposed to be unlocked at the end of RaC 3?
Yeah I've heard of that glitch! Never happened to me though, theres a high chance that something was supposed to be unlocked when finishing the game, but its trying to unlock something thats not actually on the PS3 version so the game just craps itself and writes some random numbers over the memory instead, and it just so happens to write the numbers over a weapon address or something. My best bet is that the weapon that gets unlocked isnt actually a weapon at all (possibly armour) and it tries to equip and autosave, leaving your save file screwed
I encountered that glitch. I started seeing Mega weapons I already purchased and eventually I unlocked the bomb glove (it replaced the plasma whip). It was about as effective as the walloper from RaC2 and cost 300,000 bolts per shot. I have a video on my channel showing the aftermath.

I notice that in some parts of the video Ratchet's shadow isn't ragged as it used to be due to emulation bugs. Is it finally fixed in recent PCSX2 builds ? About that Bouncer bombs. If it was possible to have a distinct big bomb and smaller bombs without worrying about lack of memory, then can anyone explain it to me, why they share the same model in the final version ? Why not make it exactly as it was in RC2, especially since that game was a base, which they build RC3 on ? Why are the sounds different as well ? Is it possible to have those unused weapons remain on Quick Select permanently and craft a savegame which has them available ? This would be a cool thing to have for people who don't know how to spawn them or can't/don't want to use cheat devices, because eg. they play on real hardware - just upload a save0.bin file and let people put it to their memory cards.
About the shadow emulation, if you change your render from Direct X to OpenGL, you can fix a lot of problems, including the shadow ones, but at the sacrifice of lower FPS/Quality, but it's all good for me (the demo footage was recorded before switching to OpenGL)
This was interesting also the bomb glove in ratchet and clank 2 can hurt ratchet the bomb just need to hit ratch directly the best way to do this is when ur doing the clank flying thing where u have to fly to many different platform in that sky factory place
I know this video is 2 years old but the Bomb Glove is in the multiplayer feature, it’s a mine, and if an enemy comes close to the mine it will come towards the enemy and explode, now if there is no enemy the mine will just sit there, you can even explode it yourself by hitting it with the wrench and won’t take damage yourself, the sheepinator is also in the multiplayer feature, but it’s called Morph o’ ray.
I like the fact that even 2 years later there are people still coming out interested in R&C 3's cut content. Shows insomniac didn't want to waste a single thing and why 3 is the best entry in the series.

I found out how to do the Paradox ERR glitch; you need to get your bolt count to anywhere between 1,507,328 to 1,572,863, quit the game and then autosave twice. Also, you know how in the PS2 version the Sheepinator is useless? Well, in the PS3 version the Sheepinator actually works!... except actually turning an enemy into a sheep will crash the game, presumably because there's no sheep model to load in single player mode. In other words, Paradox Error: this sheep does not exist.
I wonder if you where ment to get all RC1 weapons or atleast ones like the Tesla claw or any weapon that isnt similar to RC3's arsenal. Most likely was cut due to time. I like to imagine you going to some older Gadgetron building and buying vintage weapons there
The bomb gloves can hurt ratchet in ratchet and clank 2. U know that jetpack u use to fly up very high yeah well if u fly straight and use the bomb gloves u should notice that the bomb will fly as fast a ratchet and when it hits u, u should lose 1hp
Actually, there's a way to play those old games even though the servers have been shut down. I don't remember the name, but there's a software that basically creates a VPN tunnel to another machine and connects two or more PS2 systems over it. I think it even works with PCSX2!
too bad there wasn’t an upgradeable bomb glove in UYA. Not a big deal though and I wish they actually kept the RYNO 2 😂 I know it’d be more recycled content but the Ryno 3 was just the worst

@@nu-agegamer3548 I think so. Not only was it one of the weakest and least reliable weapons in the game, it also took longer to upgrade than all the other weapons combined, which made it irritating to use, and infuriating for anyone trying to get the trophies.
I'm sure you're aware of the cut turboslider tracks in this game. What I'm not sure you're aware of is that Florana still has remnants at coordinates 215, 438, 760. Only problem is that I have no idea where that exact location is.
If you’re any good with Cheat Engine, you could use it to find Ratchet XYZ coordinates, then change them to match the position of the turbosliders, then that makes ratchet teleport to hose coordinates
Only problem is that I'm not sure Cheat Engine works on consoles. You see, I used a moonjump code by using an Action Replay Max, so I don't know if Cheat Engine would do me any good.
Is there any chance that you can create a trainer for this game like you did with the others? For those of us who are not as adept at using Cheat Engine. If I recall correctly, you used CE to make the other trainers, right?
What is the RAM address needed to unlock it, and what needs to be done to place it in the first QuickSelect slot? I'm hoping if I can find the right addresses/hexadecimal values, I can use them to create a CodeBreaker code, or at least something along those lines.
TheInsomniacGamer to find the Quick Select address, put something in the first quick select slot, unpause and do an unknown value search, then, change what’s in the slot, I pause and search for a changed value. You can try doing a “value between” search, the address value shouldn’t be over 200, you can do other searches until you’ve got a handful of results, then go through and edit those results until you find the one that changes the quick select slot

Multiplayer and solo are completely different from each other, the sheepinator was left in solo from RaC2, that’s why it’s so broken. But it was properly added in the multiplayer version

IMO it’s more likely that the whip wasn’t ready at the time but the game has to put something in ratchets hand or it would crash.
For why it’s so big, usually, models aren’t made to the correct size by the artists, the game is responsible to scale them accordingly. No point in giving a proper scale to an unfinished weapon.

The Paradox Error is kind of like the default error message. Think of it like the chicken icon with a cross over it in rac1.

Bomb Glove looks like its using the explosion from the Golden Variant from Ratchet 1's Chgallenge mode.

The swingshot is actually the early hypershot. If you use it in the VR training you can try activating the platforms with it there.
Apparently you could change the gadget files with the gadte files from rc2 demo and get the same weapons. You can only use rc2 weapons tho

Actually, there's a way to play those old games even though the servers have been shut down.
I don't remember the name, but there's a software that basically creates a VPN tunnel to another machine and connects two or more PS2 systems over it.
I think it even works with PCSX2!

too bad there wasn’t an upgradeable bomb glove in UYA. Not a big deal though and I wish they actually kept the RYNO 2 😂 I know it’d be more recycled content but the Ryno 3 was just the worst

@@nu-agegamer3548 I think so. Not only was it one of the weakest and least reliable weapons in the game, it also took longer to upgrade than all the other weapons combined, which made it irritating to use, and infuriating for anyone trying to get the trophies.

I'm sure you're aware of the cut turboslider tracks in this game. What I'm not sure you're aware of is that Florana still has remnants at coordinates 215, 438, 760.
Only problem is that I have no idea where that exact location is.

I've actually tried looking for them using a moonjump code, but I have no way of knowing where coordinates 215, 438, 760 are.
If you’re any good with Cheat Engine, you could use it to find Ratchet XYZ coordinates, then change them to match the position of the turbosliders, then that makes ratchet teleport to hose coordinates
Only problem is that I'm not sure Cheat Engine works on consoles. You see, I used a moonjump code by using an Action Replay Max, so I don't know if Cheat Engine would do me any good.

If I recall correctly, you used CE to make the other trainers, right?
What is the RAM address needed to unlock it, and what needs to be done to place it in the first QuickSelect slot? I'm hoping if I can find the right addresses/hexadecimal values, I can use them to create a CodeBreaker code, or at least something along those lines.
TheInsomniacGamer to find the Quick Select address, put something in the first quick select slot, unpause and do an unknown value search, then, change what’s in the slot, I pause and search for a changed value. You can try doing a “value between” search, the address value shouldn’t be over 200, you can do other searches until you’ve got a handful of results, then go through and edit those results until you find the one that changes the quick select slot

Multiplayer and solo are completely different from each other, the sheepinator was left in solo from RaC2, that’s why it’s so broken. But it was properly added in the multiplayer version
