Clearly my backlog wasn’t big enough 😄 As for Savage Avengers, probably not since the premise doesn’t really grab my interest. But it seems like a lot of people are picking it up, probably because of the whole licensing discussion around Conan

Yeah turns out the discount was actually 47% off, even higher than I remembered. Crazy, we rarely see those kinds of deals here but I’m very thankful it popped up 🤓

Love your stuff man! I'm normally not one to watch these haul videos, but you manage to make it really fun. Can't wait for your review of the Iron Fist omni!!

You mention disliking the colors on a lot of 90s titles and I think what happened was a) the rise of digital coloring and, perhaps more importantly, b) the rise of comics being printed on white paper. Before the 90s, a lot of comics were printed on toned paper that was slightly grey or slightly beige/cream and it influenced the colors…in effect muting them!

Yeah I assumed the culprit was the digital colouring, but you raise a really good point about the paper switch too, I hadn’t considered that. I think for me, 90s art often feels like a weird middle ground between the campiness of the silver age and the maturity of the 00s and onwards, which messes with my brain 😋 Thanks so much for sharing your insight!
