I really like how you presented each book. Gave some of the content away just to spark interest in us but with no spoilers. I'm still hunting for that Black Cat DM cover omni.

Black Cat was for me definitely biggest surprise of the year, I originally bought it just because it was cheap but I had a blast with it! It wasn't my favorite read of the year but definitely most surprising and fun! But my favourite read of the year would be Something is killing the children books 1 and 2!

Moon Knight by Jed Mackay was my favourite that I started reading in 2024 but wrapped up in 2025

Another great video and some awesome picks! 📚 Ennis' Punisher MAX is one of my favourite runs of all time! Spider-Man: Blue and Daredevil: Yellow are all-timers that wreck my emotions every time I read them, and Harleen is a gorgeous book too! I haven't checked out Black Cat yet but it's on my to-do list! Some standouts for me that I read for the first time last year are definitely Bendis and Brubaker's Daredevil runs, Thor by Straczynski & Gillen omnibus, The Batman Adventures omnibus and the first two deluxe hardcovers of Something Is Killing the Children. Here's to another year of great reading!

Some of my favorite reads from last year were Nightwing Compendium 1, Black Panther and World of Wakanda by Coates, and Far Sector (I was surprised how much I loved this one). But my #1 favorite has gotta be Superman Up in the Sky by Tom King. I read it digitally because every version is badly out of print, but thankfully, they announced a deluxe edition coming out this year. If you want the perfect story to show why Superman is a great character, read Up in the Sky. It might be my favorite Superman story ever, or at least in the top 3.

Is doing this low risk high reward? I'm worried that if i do this i will mess up my book, do you think it's easy or hard to mess up?

I have grabbed USM Vol 4 and Moon Knight by Mackay. Mackay’s MK is what got me into comics about 3 years ago. Sadly my Moon Knight omnibus needs some repairs on the spine. Went to stretch the spine, and realized the pages were detached from the spine at the bottom. I’ll have to find some bookbinding glue now to fix that up.

Oh ya man jeds MoonKnight run is no joke I have it all in singles I was picking it up as it came out it was the highlight of my week every time. Yes I believe that wrap around is cap, it’s a two page spread from the comic. I still remember flipping the page to that and I had the same reaction

That board art on the Jed Mckay omnibus is GORGEUS. Gonna have to keep an eye on prices. Love the inside art as well, looks very Jock-esque and I love Jock. I'd love a review of this when you get around to reading it.

I planned to skip most parts of this video in first place. But when I started to watch i realised that you are reviewing most of your comics or giving info about them at least. Most people just record their omnis in library tour and that’s it. You have a nice oratory. You’ve gained a follower.

I was very disappointed in the writing...great artwork and some fun moments..ham fisted messages that overshadowed the story. Didn't even feel like it was ww2..if it was supposed to...had to get half way through for the villians and they felt so wasted. Loved seeing psycho and thought he had a good start. Everything need more time to cook...5/10

The binding on my copy looks exactly the same, so it might have been a general issue with the build of that batch...

Thank you for the interesting video. Even though it took some time, I'm really glad that you stopped to so many books, flipped some pages and talked about stories instead of just showing the spines.

I knew I wanted a copy of The Long Halloween to start building my collection (so far I only have Year One and Under the Red Hood), but I've already read the story thanks to my school's library, so I didn't wanna just get it as a standalone book. That's when I found out they made an omnibus of it and Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's other 3 mini-series, and it was this video that convinced me to order it. Should be here in 2-3 days.

My favorite Avengers run of all time ! Its such a blast to read and it flows really well. Great review as usual bro. I really hope Marvel prints the whole run in omnibus format. Even though I own it, I'm buying the reprint, cause I want them to print the rest of the run in that format. It deserves it.
