Gettin with it! Nice! The Jacuzzi cavitation is common with that open stainless impeller. We had that issue on our 23’ Sleekcraft Daycruiser. A ramp intake will help load the bowl and cut the cavitation down. Otherwise, put gas in it and don’t hit it too hard out of the hole and you’ll be fine. Oh, and keep an eye on the bearings in the jet and keep it well greased.
Water comes in at the lowest point and empties out of the thermostat housing (usually no thermostat) and then out through the rear most exhaust. But double check this.
Yup! I had it come from the pump to the logs, then into the water pump holes, out though the thermostat housing (no thermostat) snd out the exhaust. I followed some good guide off SoCal jet boats forums
Congratulations on getting her on the water! Reminds me of when we first got our Jet Boat! Pull the exhaust nozzles and silicone them on the back of the transom if you havent and inspect it when you pull them. Have fun with her there a blast!
The boat will gravitate forever . Unless you get an inducer . They really work on a boat like that . If I heard you right you said it was a Jacuzzi pump . In case you don't know what an inducer is . It's a small impala you install before the big impala . It's about the size of a jet ski impala . But it will and the cavitation and increase your gas mileage . And you will be able to cruise at lower speeds . I did a 23 foot sleek craft the biggest dog ever made . We did have a Berkeley . When I installed inducer and made the boat so different you couldn't believe it .. It's a bit of work but it's worth it .

You might want to try out a duel plane manifold. You'll get more low end.
Do you still have this boat man?
I do not. Ended up selling it and picked up an 18’ Nordic bubble deck. I need to get some new videos up.
Oh nice.. ya I'm looking for something like a mini daycruiser..I like the look of yours.. definitely put up some new vids man.
