    This is a brilliant video and explanation of a very complex topic. Thank you for breaking it down and presenting it so well, Andreo :)

    These exercises have quite simply changed my life. After wasting countless hours on soft tissue release for all the adhesions I've developed to compensate for Ehlers Danlos syndrome and being hypefexible. I finally feel what its like to unlock my mobility and stability and get my life back

    I think you mean that the space between bones allows for the joint to operate, because a joint is where two bones interface in a motion inducing fashion.

    The explanation is good. I wouldn't say: You don't have a hip. There is no need to put down people, just because you see a problem, they don't immediately understand.

    Dr. Spina, Capsular Pattern says External Rotation is more affected than Internal Rotation, however you mention at 5:00 time in video that 'Internal Rotation' is the first thing you loose when you have Capsular Pattern of Shoulder'. Could you please explain why there is a contradiction in your statement!!
    Thanks

      I think what people have been doing all along, getting into the desired positions with various exercises and if needed gentle stretches to restore flexibility in areas that have not been visited for long periods of time, and then of course strengthen into those positions in order to own that position.

    Amazing! But if the joint is luxated once or more and the capsule is torn and stretched are the pain mechanisms working the same way, is there any differences? Thank you!

    Pain signals are not the correct term here, it is nociception, pain doesn't come directly from muscles or joints. It is then up or down-regulated by the spinal cord, prior to being sent to the brain, and then may or may not be interpreted as pain.

  • @michaeljordan215
    @michaeljordan215 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't agree that a direct line to the brain means higher importance. Allowing the interception for muscle pain to be addressed closer to the injury means a quicker response. There probably isn't a response that can be sent back to the joint, therefore the nervous system doesn't need to intercept the signal ahead of the brain.
