I had meningitis B at 18 months old for 5 days. They said I was going to be blind, deaf, death, lose a limb or die. I contracted the disease one month before the vaccine came out. I had it quite severely. I survived with nothing wrong, 31 years later, I have amazing sight, hearing, I have all my limbs and nothing cognitively wrong either. ❤️
Thank you so much for this. Fell asleep last night with a frontal migraine(took my emergency migraine medicine) Woke up with the same migrane, horribly stiff/aching neck, and a sinus infection. The day has come to and end, nothings better, and I have a small rash forming on my chest. Do I have to wait to go to the doctor tomorrow? Yes. Do I hope that NyQuil will save me? Yes.
@@MegaSantiago20 hi, I went to the hospital yesterday and was tested for covid and the flu. It came back negative for both so the just sent me home. My symptoms are a bit different now. Yesterday the neck aching went away but now my tonsils and lymph nodes are swolen. I still have the migraines but they gave me a prescription for that(FIORICET), Sinuses are still messed up but my right ear is swolen on the inside to the point to where I cant hear out of it, when I sneeze or burp or cough or yawn it feels like a needle is jabbed into my ear. Even when my ear does drain it’s only clear to redish liquid that comes out. I told the nurses and doctor at the hospital all of this, I wish they would give me any sort of explanation on why this might be happening.
@@StyleshStorm I’m much better now. 4 days after I went to that hospital I went to a different one and was given two different steroid pills and a shot. I was told I definitely had an ear/sinus infection and I had acute symptoms of meningitis. It took me almost 2 months to get better and I lost my hearing completely in my right ear up until a couple weeks ago.
I've had a TBI the regular doctor is absolutely worthless and I was injured right before COVID and when I needed the neologist the most they were to scared to see people. I still have at least 5 episodes of these symptoms a year. And when I have them. They treat it like a earache and set a appointment for after it gets better.
Hello. I'm from Panamá. I'm a survivor of meningitis and encephalitis together with septicemia. I had to take physical therapy for around 4 months. It was found that I have lost a great amount of mieline in the left side of my Braun and it is causing me some little seizures according to My neurologist. The strangers thing is that I've suffered meningitis around six times in my life. No doctor in Panama has been able to find the reason of my problem. It's strange, unbelievable, isn't it? This illness is something really horrible. Greetings from Panama

I need to see my neurologist soon I will be getting tests for CSF leak.. symptoms going on for a while it's also caused double vision on my right eye which I gets me dizzy when walking and I get migraine headaches stiff neck and weakness on the right arm. And I feel very tired most of the time. Next question can congenital torticollis and scoliosis cause CSF Leak? My face, neck and back are not normal. And now at my older age 62 It has started effecting me if different ways. My mother had a very hard time giving birth to me that was the reason for these 2. Torticollis and scoliosis. And, can a cervical degenerative disc cause CSF leak? I have all this going on. Please, answer when you get time. Thank you!
There are many causes for csf leaks and they can be difficult to find. You can find information on the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation website and hopefully find a provider familiar with them. Hope this helps.
Today I have a crazy fever, all muscles have no strength, Charley horses and cramping all over, eyes have tremendous pressure, diarrhea, headache. I can breathe fine I don't have a cold or anything no upper respiratory issues. Fever was so bad I felt like I couldn't get up out of bed. Seems like every week the kids bring some nasty bug home from school

I have meningitis, only vocal infection. I meant no sound, i can't talk and also throat pain... Any remedy??? Please
