    Small correction on the basic physiology: the amount of CSF reabsorbed each day is equal to the amount produced each day (when describing the volume reabsorbed each day you should not subtract the 150 mL volume of CSF from the 500 mL daily production).

    • @lowkeyrings9221
      @lowkeyrings9221 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow you seem so smart. Now how do you measure the flux of CSF in real time and how do you differentiate it between other lymphatic fluids?

    Two points you need to add to this video:

    2. Projectile vomitting is a common & important clinical feature.

    Subarachnoid space is below subarachnoid....not below piamater. Secondly in kernig’s sign we look for spasm of hamstrings of that particular leg and slight flexion at opposite hip joint and knee joint, and not Back pain.

    This morning I woke up with a throbbing sensation like migraine, my neck was hurting but it wasn't stiff. I lay back down when I felt a little pain in my jaw. I took some exedren, it stopped my migraine after about an hour nap. My jaw pain left right away. And my neck does not hurt anymore. My mom said if I can look down and touch where my upper chest is, then that is a good sign. I might go to the hospital in a few hours, I'll keep you guys up dated.

      I would like to talk about my encounter with this herpes treatment method *4HerpesCure .Com* In the beginning I was skeptic but slowly the results proved that I was wrong. I had been reluctant; it`s difficult to imagine that it can cure something such as this and make yourself look much better. I did, and you could, as well. Once you start performing the treatment method in hopes of getting better and not stopping, you`re a.lready halfway to getting rid of the cold sore for life.

    Hi I'm worried about my 6 year old. She said to me about 30 min ago her neck hurt and right about underneath her left shoulder blade and across to the bone on the spinal that's exactly where she's hurting nothing she can't tolorait because she keeps playing as a normal 6 year old. I just wouldn't want to regret not bringing her to ER. I'm scare because it also says the places I've read that meningitis can get worse within hours.😱 she also has a little cold starting going on just started today.

    Why is bacterial so dangerous? Like most bacterias are either neutral or helpful and the bad ones cause more dangerous than viral inflammation? While all viruses (well almost, don't forget about the bacteriophage) are bad for health.

    Searched this up. My parents told me I had meningitis. We were broke and living in Poland. We used to go to the lake to have fun. And bathe. What we didn't know is that there was dead animals at the bottom of it giving out bacteria. Obviously me being a baby I swallowed the liquid. Not long after getting home I'd scream even after touch from my parents. Ambulance wouldn't come even after being called about 12 times. So my parents took me to the hospital. Turns out I had 1 hour to live. If my parents didn't take me I'd be long gone
