I tried the dice and water trick I tried it a couple of times with doing the directions as showen and couldn't get it to work o well at least I tried question does it need to be a different dice or just a regular dice cube

As many people know that opposite sides of a die add up to 7, best to do the trick first with 7, then change the second time.

digitalis7 yes thats a good idea, but to give the die for inspection to your spectator, you have to change it back to original again.
Or you can say that the die is misprinted, and then show the wrong numbers, then you can do the trick that I did. Its just the variation you may come up with.
