You can end the trick with a simple algebra like Think of a number , add it by 2 , substract it by 1 , add it by 10 . Now substract the number you think from the current number . So the answer would be easily known to you which is 11 .
I do a card trick the same way I memorize the card 7 of diamonds (any card)at the bottom of the deck and spread them out in a line on the table. I tell them to touch the card that is the 7 of diamonds and I'll pick up their card and write it down. I do that three times and I'll tell them that I'll pick out whatever the last card was they touched. Then I'll pick up the real 7 of diamonds which I knew where it was at.
@the ridiculous joker I think they mean something like having the last answer be something extremely likey to be chosen, like, for example people are most likely to say carrot when asked to choose a vegetable.
Anyway, when we roll the first paper, we can't guess it and it will be such a mistake anyway, we will get the answer from the second one, how its psble..?

You're not limited to 3 questions. Suppose you think he will say Luke, which is what you wrote, but he says Mary. The next question could be, what's a boys name that starts with the letter "L". Hopefully he says Luke (and you write Mary).
Generally this is done with a force. For example a card force where you force a known card. And instead of cards you can use photographs and force a specific photograph and have them transmit that image to you.
Instead of the method of guessing his frnds name, wat u can do is "first write down a playing card" and force tht card on them...That will be the best according to me!
I bought those decks with 52 cards exactly the same, actually two decks…one blue backed with all 2 of clubs and one red back with all 8 of hearts…(I chose the cards I wanted), so I always have a force available for any number of tricks/illusions. I think I paid $8 per deck. Definitely worth it for me.
Xx_PlasmaBeast _xX you can usually get some piece of info by observation. Look for a logo on a car key or something like that. Otherwise you can force a playing card as one of the questions.

The boy said Saturday. Now with that in mind he ask pick a day in year while simultaneously writing down Saturday..... And so on
