Well I’m returning my glowforge and I just purchased the xtool P2 with all accessories with the exception of the filter system as I am jut going to vent out a window. You have made me even more excited for it to arrive.
First -- Your reviews are the ONLY ones I watch on MUO. I always look forward to the next one. Your professional dedication to giving detailed information in all of your reviews is unrivaled. I learn something from every one. I will very much miss them. Thank you for bringing me so much viewing pleasure and information all of these years. Wow! What a great review. I’ve just this week bought an F1 to add laser to my business. The idea is to,add a P2 once I am comfortable with what I’m doing. You’ve given me so much good information here. Once I’ve completed my move to a new home I’ll have a lot more space for the P2, also.

Thanks so much for your review as I've found it so informative. I now have an Xtool P2 AND an F1 waiting to be unboxed once I do some carpentry to safely protect them from rainy weather, as even on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland we still have rain. Many thanks again and G'day from Australia!

This was very informative. I am looking to invest into my first Laser Engraver, and I had been going back and forth about the Glowforge. This laser seems to have a lot more to offer and a lot more options. I am definitely interested in starting my own small business doing products, including metal Tumblers so this is definitely the way to go for my vision. One of the best reviews I've seen. I have an Xtool D20 pro 40w with the extension, but want to do larger Mandala designs and this is the perfect solution to fit alongside my MOPA 60w Fiber used for metal stuff.

I just bought the ultimate package bundle today. Another thing that CO2 laser engravers do well is mylar stencils for airbrushing. You can create multi layer airbrush stencils and actually airbrush the pieces you produce with the laser itself, or just to create the stencils for your own airbrush works of art. I'm going to enjoy this machine when it arrives and try set myself up using this machine for projects using airbrush and resin, as well as wood designs and engravings, tile engravings, acrylic engravings, etc. You can also us this machine to "make" the draw lines on canvas for painting landscapes, people, or anything else. You're not "engraving" per se, just very lightly burning the canvas with major feature of the image you're painting, and the light burn marks will be painted over anyway.

Thank you your review has made my mind up, I am going to order the P2. I have an S1 20w. I have been looking at buying distilled water ready for the laser coming, I can find deionised water, will this be ok? Cheers John

Hmm, I didn't I'm afraid - 4mm isn't particularly common in these parts (3/9/12/18mm usually?), but it shouldn't have a problem cutting.
is there a notable difference in detail engraving/cutting between the 20 watt and 40 watt tool d1 pro?

Thank you for the fab review, however you don’t mention anything of aligning mirrors etc for the laser machine…is this something you don’t have to worry about? As I hate having to do this on the machine I have already 🤦🏻♀️ lol. I’m looking to downsize from a huge 1300 x 900 cutting bed ( 5ft x 6ft machine) 😅 and this is looking pretty much perfect for what I’m wanting. TY
It's not something you need to do unless something goes tragically wrong or you replace the laser head. Not something I needed to do at all though, no.
Can I use the RA2 pro from my m1 in the p2? Or is the attachment to the machines different? 😅
