lovely video, do you run the risk of damaging the internal fan by attacking a more powerful inline? mine has arrived with a free inline but no mention of removing or disconnecting the existing fan.
I’m confused. Usually a new product is issued on its release date. But lots of TH-camrs have the product and are showing the product and even how to set it up, but they can’t show using it until the release date, but you can buy it now. How can you tell if it’s any good if they don’t show you using it. What are the good points and what are the bad points? This isn’t an indigo release. Even the updated software is out now. So once the release date?
Tomorrow is the official release of the Ultra and XTool is doing a live event on YT. Once that happens, I’m positive all of the user videos and reviews will be dropped like crazy along with a lot of information and opinions of the machine. It’s not unusual for companies to place embargoes on early access participants of their IP.
I believe it should be - but as with some of the other xTool machines I don't think you will get all of the features when using lightburn. For example, on the S1 and P2 there is curved surface engraving but to my understanding this is not supported in Lightburn.
Hello! I was interested in purchasing a tilt mechanism for the Xtool rotary, will the F1 Ultra be getting a version or will an existing mechanism be compatible?
I am absolutely MIND BLOWN by your video!!! I am not only more impressed with xtool but now looking to upgrade my F1 to the F1 Ultra just based off the clear consise content of this video, so thank you! I was just about to order a laser pecker or another fiber machine but now I’m only wanting the F1 ultra.
Thank you so much for the compliment! If you put the deposit down on the F1 ultra be sure to use my link in the video description as it helps support my channel. I'll have more F1 ultra content that I'm sure you'll enjoy on the way!
I am thinking about getting the Ultra. I have an old laptop, will that work for creatives space or do you need a speedy processor? I am not familiar with their software.
I'm really interested in this unit but does the F1 Ultra have WiFi / SD Card capability or only computer interface to send files. WiFi would sure be nice.
WiFi and USB for local operation as well using the touchscreen controller. No more tethering direct to laptop. Some of the older machines like the regular F1 and even D1 pro have had WiFi for a while now. Xtool creative space 2.0 can also now handle multiple connections at once so you can simultaneously operate various Xtool machines for production
This is the best F1 Ultra video I have seen yet, I also like that you have already started to create accessories. I will purchasing these accessories after I finish paying for my F1 Ultra and conveyor.
Like most xTool machines it is quasi compatible... You can do the basic stuff with Lightburn but the more advanced features like the 3d curved surface engrave etc will probably not work with lightburn
It's like a safety lockout. You can remove the USB key if you are working inside the machine, for example adjusting the red dot laser, and want to make sure the blue and fiber laser cannot turn on to burn you or blind you

Thanks! I haven't damaged them yet... But I may consider removing it and designing an insert like a fan delete
@@EmbraceMaking Nice! I'm hoping I'll be okay, I just need to stop leaving the inline on when it finishes a job 😬
Based on this video my F1 Ultra just arrived, unboxing and setting up now. Wish me Luck!!!
You said you would list the exhaust fan and I can’t find where you listed the fan or the controller in this
I'll try and find the exact one again but this is pretty close: amzn.to/4fIRsbI I'll have another look for the exact one !
Here is the exact one: amzn.to/4a91Nd4 Thanks!

Great video! This laser looks really impressive. I think I'll be putting down a deposit. Keep up the videos!
Amazing, be sure to use the link in the video description to save $1000 !
This looks really cool. It'll definitely help me with my custom metal coasters.
The deep engrave can get you some nice depth now
Will this be compatible with Lightburn? Will it work with a MacBook? D1 pro with XCS does not work well with a MacBook so I had to go with Lightburn.

Great video. Can't wait for my Controller Stand and Mount to be delivered. When will the rotary module for tumblers be available?

F1 ULTRA will have it's own specific model - still working on it - stay tuned!
@@EmbraceMaking woo-hoo thank you!🥳

My question is…Does the F1 slide extension work with the Ultra?
As far as I can tell... no. It seems like the new "slide extension" for the Ultra is the conveyor
As usual, very detailed and informative.
Appreciate that!

Will this machine do a full wrap on a tumbler? I can't tell if the whole tumbler will fit under the laser.
How long is your tumbler, I can check for you :)
@@EmbraceMaking 7 3/4" for a 20 oz or 12.3" for a 40 oz.

a hardware dongle to enable the machine to use? Just like a software dongle key? What? What's the actual hidden purpose of such a dongle key?
It's like a safety lockout. You can remove the USB key if you are working inside the machine, for example adjusting the red dot laser, and want to make sure the blue and fiber laser cannot turn on to burn you or blind you
Great video, I sure hope I'm one of the lucky ones who gets one.
Hope I get to make content for them 🙏
Too much money for those who did not get it for free.
Great video! I did the survey so hopefully we can review this also.
Thanks! Hope you get it!
