I just got a pink syngonium and a minty green splotchy colored one (not sure of the exact types) at the 99 cent store in Temecula, Ca this weekend. They were in 4" pots and they were $4.00 each (yes, there are many things at the 99 cent store over 99 cents these days). I am in love!

Plant 1- syngonium podophyllum pink neon. 2- bob allusion. 3 Maria/bronze allusion. 4- confetti (cute and what a good find!) 5-Holly. 6-this seems like a moonlight, or a bleached out cream allusion, the holly has more "pointy" leaves. 7-syngonium Podophyllum Mottled (army) 8- pink Varigata/pink splash. 9- Syngonium podophyllum Albo Variegata. I only have one Syngonium, the Syngonium White Butterfly. Such a gorgeous plant! I agree with you, regarding not having them too close to a window. I had mine against a North facing window (the equivalent of your South facing, here in Australia) and the leaves became bleached and stiff. Once I moved it away, it has softened up nicely and the beautiful markings are showing through much better. I would love to get a Syngonium albo one day. Great video! Thank you 😊

I just got some pink allusion cuttings the other day. And I have some albo cutting that have been in a pot for a few weeks. I’m super excited to see them grow.
Got my first syngonium, berry illusion. I love it so much, but unfortunately I have to keep it up high with lights because I have cats who like to be in the "jungle" and are know to nibble a leaf. *sigh* loving cats and plants can be a struggle.
The principal gave me a dead plant to revive. I thought the plant was dead until I saw some green and decided to water it. Now I have this plant and he said I could keep it since he didn’t want it.
I love my syngoniums they are so dramatic in a fun way just to let me know when they need water and then they will just pop right back up and party hahah

These do great for me outside, then tank when I bring them in in the fall, all winter they look like crap. I almost bought one called “Pink Confetti” last week….pale green and white with little splashes of pink. I have the basic green and one called “RedArrow” ……but it’s just too depressing watching them go downhill in the off-season.

Great series! I love syngonium. I have the white butterfly and the pink syngonium. But with the pink syngonium I found that some of the leaves just don´t unfurl and I don´t know why. I changed the soil, it´s in a good spot where it receives bright light and maybe half an hour direct sun. I live in a country with high humidity. Nothing helps. Maybe you have any ideas?
Hi Juli, thank you! My first thought was humidity until you said that it’s getting enough 😭 It may be a watering issue then. If you are letting it dry out completely, maybe keep it slightly moist instead.
Idk if you still think so, but I agree they are hard to tell apart and such small differences are considered different plants, I’m not sure if I think it’s just nonsense
You mentioned using grow lights. You should do a video about grow lights! I enjoyed all your videos and stand with you in your support for Black Lives Matter.

it's hard to say since prices vary from country to country and even within the US! my friend from florida sent me one that was $6 i think but here in pennsylvania it would probably cost me $20
Do you have tips for propagating the syngonium albo in moss? :) I just bought one in moss and have had no experience with propagation or moss! Should the moss be wet or moist? I also put it on a pebble tray but I find it makes the moss really wet where I have to squeeze some water out so maybe I should stop with the pebble tray?
hi!! i would keep the moss moist instead of wet. i think the pebble tray might be creating too much moisture. if you aren't already, using a non porous pot (like a nursery pot) will also help a lot!
oh nooo 😭i absolutely recommend getting a moisture meter then. i water my syngonium at like a 3 on the meter. during the winter, maybe i'd wait for a 2. if you're having a hard time with the visual cues, this is hands down the way to tell!
it's definitely a challenge! one thing to keep in mind is that as a leaf matures, it will probably lose some of that pink color. to counter that, i try to keep my plant extra happy so that it's always shooting out more growth and looking more pink, distracting from the older leaves. it also depends what window your plant is in. if it's in too low light (like north facing window) it will want to produce more chlorophyll. if it's in too bright light (south facing window), it might bleach out and lose pink. i've moved the pink one around A LOT and pulled to the side of a south facing window with regular watering seems to do the trick (for me).
i wish i knew! big box stores and thrift shops have been great, low cost options for me but they've been very low in stock. you might also have some luck in fb plant groups.

I just found syngonium confetti for 30 euros and I can't decide if this type is worth the price of if this is too expensive :/
