Seth Catches a Halibut, Newport OR, 6-18-24

20 miles SW from Newport, OR. Fishing in 240 feet of water just south of Stonewall Bank. Tanacom 800 electric reel to bring fish up consistently and quick. Last fish of the day, as the wind was picking up and making the drift all but impossible; had been running both Honda 150s in reverse all day to keep the drift speed manageable, but the wind / current combo finally bagged it. Great day with two perfect sized Halibut (36") for delicious eating.
