Oh man, is there anything in the tenor repertoire that Jonas Kaufmann cannot do? I just looooove how he's always full of creativity and whatever language/repertoire he is singing in, there's always a deep artistry behind his incredible voice and technique.

Fantastic! I've seen him in the theater many times, but he hasn't been performing in the States lately. I visited the Garnier in Paris, and my eyes almost popped! Incredible theater. I saw Gluck's Alceste.

I have been enjoying the L'Opera CD ever since it arrived last August. I never get tired of it. Thank you Mr. Kaufmann!! (I love your duets with Mr. Tezier!!) I have everything you have ever recorded, and I don't know which is my favorite - In the past I've said the Salzburg Don Carlo and the Met Parsifal - they are still my strong favorites. But L'Opera is quite close to them.
Beautiful singing full of nuance and coloration, text clearly offered, revealing emotions within each piece - all standard expectations for Kaufmann's work. What always amazes is the musical intelligence of the program and the way he is able to communicate it. I always learn so much! Merci beaucoup!
