18:12 What an elegant way of discarding the paper bag, dear.
Ha came on the comments to see if anyone else thought the same.
@@paulatomlinson5630 I know that etiquette tells us not to talk about other people's habits but the way he discarded the bag is just beyond me and beyond anything.
I thought that was disgusting
@@Seat3NYC Exactly. Total lack of elegance, lack of hygiene. My comment was a joke about the situation.
No nonsense reveiw , I liked the words on screen rather than listening too someone waffle , great job 👏
I have to say, it still feels strange and depressing not seeing the British Airways 747s at Heathrow. They were always a familiar sight, and a real pleasure to ride on 😢
I miss the BA 747 from LHR to YVR and return...such a cool plane.
Yes i agree . Miss the 747 .
Great review & a smooth flight well done BA
At 18:10 did you just chuck the food wrapper on the floor? Why would you do that?
I flew through LHR from Boston last month on a 777-300 with the older interior. We flew business class over (yin/yang seats, comfortable but weird layout) and premium economy back. The PE seats are the same as what you had. After flying to Europe on other carriers in economy, I found PE to be an upgrade worth it for the short money. I could probably to PE on the red-eye over to LHR as well, but I had enough AA points to do business over and premium economy back. We sat in the back row of the PE cabin. The back row seats don't recline as far as the other seats.... we lost about 2 inches of recline. Not an issue on a day flight but the extra recline would be appreciated on a redeye. Surprisingly, no one complained on SeatGuru to make the seats yellow or at least add a note. Thanks for the video.... I'm a new subscriber to your channel.
I was wondering about the recline on the back row seats as Seat guru doesn't say anything! THANKS! Your comment helps.
British Airways, always a safe and reliable airline, however imperfect it is. Great to see the planes of the 1990s like the 777-200 still flying well into the 2020s!
I just finished one of your Delta flight reviews and was very excited to be notified of a new video! Can't wait to watch!
Recently flew premium economy with BA Islamabad to Gatwick and I must say I was pretty impressed with the cabin
I do PE on Singapore's 18 hour run between Newark and Singapore and to me it's worth it. The seats, layout, and food/drink appear similar but service on Singapore is superior to western carriers in all classes. Visiting the UK, I actually fly from southeast Asia and it's half the cost of the New York route in spite of being nearly double the miles. Again, I fly almost exclusively on Asian carriers with the exception of chicom based airlines as the service is far and above any US or European carrier.
I love Singapore Airlines.
Thanks for uploading!! I fly with my nearly four year old London to LAX end of September. Flying PE so good to see the lay out ect. Brilliant video 👍
I flew BA World Traveler Plus early May 2022 from Heathrow to JFK on the 777. Unfortunately we didn't get an amenity kit and the screens in our section didn't work for the entire flight (BA compensated with bonus avios points), but the seats themselves were worth it.
We flew back from Washington DC on the 787 dreamliner which looked like it had a better entertainment system and it worked this time! Still no amenity kit though.
I would definitely fly again.
I have the a BA 777-200 premium economy seat from London to Mumbai booked for January. This video gave a good glimpse of what it’ll be. Thanks!
Thanks for uploading your review. never flown BA to the states. only United and have this flight booked in September 2022.
Useful video for me as I'm booked for AA 777 prem econ from Heathrow this Christmas to JFK and returning on BA 777 prem econ. Surprisingly few videos on these carriers prem econ 777. I thought they'd be dozens and dozens.
Wow Premium economy is really good one, quite spacious as far as legroom is concerned.. Great BA👍
I did the reverse JFK to LHR premium last month. Quite a contrast to economy. Proper cutlery, more space and legroom, wine or juice before takeoff, and the fancy tray table that folds out of the armrest. I'd love to try first but £6000 is way too much for a bit of extra luxury.
we fly first on British Airways, trick is to book far out and have some flexibility on dates
For a flight as short as JFK-LHR, I don't see the value in paying Business class prices for such a short flight. For Philly to Zurich or JFK to Zurich then I say yes its worth it for 9 hrs of flight time.
Your vlogs give people true sense on using Paddington Express from London/city to LHR and all that follows.
Important to highlight if people use underground, many stations have stairs, non reliable escalators v lifts. (Luggage). Underground is cheaper, but Paddington Express is worth extra dollars. Book on-line 👍👊
Not half bad… hats off to BA, perfectly acceptable for 7 hours - thanks for sharing as always! 👍
What an amazing Canarise approach!
Great video As always 👍. I find the same issue with ba. Very friendly crew but always leave the trays for top long and the ife is well below most other rival flying that route.
That’s for watching, Stephen. Yes, the slow service wasn’t a huge deal, but I could imagine it might be frustrating on a flight in the opposite direction where you just want as much sleep as possible.
Simple solution. Call a cabin crew member and ask them to remove the tray, now! 😁
The front row's legroom seems quite impressive.👍
What a big paper bag for a little sandwich and kitkat. Nice video. Thank you.
Thanks for the upload, I like your idea of scoring . I’ve used B.A. Premium Economy in the past and always found it acceptable. However lots of negative comments on YT recently but this positive review here made me think that maybe B.A. make an extra effort on the most competitive route in the World, LHR/JFK. I’m in two minds whether to stick with Business next trip or go back to P.E. which of course is a substantial saving.
It looks like BA did a pretty good and final recabin on this old bird! Sadly, Delta did recabin on their 777 and immediately dumped those planes.
To be honest, the cabin they had for this specific 777-200 from 2010-2021 was fine in my opinion. The only thing I strongly despise about this cabin is the 10 abreast layout in world traveler
Flown BA in Business a few times. Always a great service, delivery with a smile. Just booked flights to and from Atlanta in Premium Economy. We shall see how it compares. (Flown them in economy plenty of times too).
Nice video. And then new Business class seats look great.
Yes they do
I did a premier economy flight on BA to Tokyo and another to Seoul . Found it ok on the 777-200 even if most of these aircraft are coming for 20yrs old . Iam off to Dallas on a BA A380 in the coming month , will be interesting to see what premier economy is like on that trip .
Throwing rubish on the floor! Where the hell did you grow up?!!
You face blurring skills are incredible 😂 great video, thank you. It really helped me make my mind up with my up and coming flight to MIA. Keep up the good work
The official term for the front row is bulkhead.
Great video! What are the three RCA outlets (red white yellow) at 7:00? I do not recall ever seeing them at a seat before on a plane?
Flow few times now in Plus - always s solid performance by crew....cabin really good for someone as tall as me. Worth the extra. Only way I can fly.
Sadly, this was very reminiscent of my last flight, 18th of November, from San Francisco to Rome. The plane was a 22 year old 777 300-ER and I was seated in World Traveler Plus. While my seat was very comfortable, service was lackluster at best, almost as if they found the passengers a nuisance. I am pretty low maintenance, but the meal service ,was rushed, food quality was abysmal, and then the cabin crew disappeared for the remainder of the 10 hour flight. The Plane was dirty, the lav was an eyesore. I paid a premium fare for a coach experience. I will never fly BA again.
Nice tour of the cabin interior! I've not flown BA on a long-haul (only between UK and mainland Europe) so I've only ever been on their 737s. Hopefully I get to do a trip report of this too, before the end of the year!

You should!
Your videos are fantastic. I really enjoy them.
Thank you very much!
Economy is very tight for a long haul. More like a domestic flight.
As a large person, I've found premium economy seats have LESS width because of the armrests don't allow "overlap" and are included in the width calculation.
World Traveller Plus is also available on London Heathrow to Newark Terminal B flights. If you were to do that which one would you choose United Airlines premium economy or British Airways World traveller Plus
As much as I'd like to try premium economy for my trip to the States later this year, the quote from BA to upgrade of £3026 each is a little out of reach.
Yeah...I have PE JFK to Hong Kong. They want $5049 for upgrade 1 way. I'll wait until the day before or at the counter to see if I can get it for $1500 or less
6:03 Soon I will be sitting it! 👍
Just saw this video. The crew probably didn't clear your tray for so long because they were waiting for you to eat your greens. Naughty boy for not eating your salad, lol 😂😂😂
55 mins to clear your tray! That's not Prem Y service. Was the same crew serving the main Y cabin as well? Try Air Canada, they have a dedicated FA in this cabin, and really make you feel more special. I remember flying Rouge to Athens years ago and the FA's pulled this nonsense of not clearing trays. All the yayas rebelled and one after another took their trays to the galley. When they got there it was a lot of oi veying and tut-tut-tutting at the mess. People flying is always fun, god bless!
New York Avation thank you for this trip report. I am going with ba pe in feb but I don’t what plane I am on since BA website says 777 but seat guru says A350. Which one is it please?
Ah BA.....I vowed never to fly British Airways again 20 years ago flying London to Singapore when a cabin crew got angry at me for ordering a 2nd drink during meal time! How dare I !!!!
Love the commitment 😂
Do you have the option to order drinks throughout the flight ? Not only during their rounds
Flew BA premium economy, world traveller plus as they call it from London to Dubai in March 22. It was ok but I wasn’t impressed until I saw economy section which looked crammed .
Do you get to keep the blanket, headphones etc or do you have to leave them?
Leave them. Can keep the amenity lit though
I thought that you got a lot of extras for Premium Economy. A side note: Plane reviewers very often have a bulkhead seat so we don't get the full feel of the seating. I wonder if the airlines do that on purpose.
No, the reviewers do it for their own extra legroom. They have to have a window seat to photograph the outside view but it also gives them easier access to the aisle than other PE seats. More room to squeeze by your neighbor in the aisle seat.
It looks like you did the Canarsie approach to 13L. How much extra did you pay? I often pay the surcharge if it’s below $200, because you’re only getting the additional legroom and width (which is an important consideration). So BA goes from premium 8-across to economy 10-across. Ugh. I remember when they had 3-3-3 on the 777s, but those days are long gone on almost every airline.
I was originally booked in economy but upgraded to an empty premium economy window seat when a saw that economy was full. Loved the 13L approach, especially at night.

Thanks - just wanted to see if it was worth the extra from economy and worth the additional cost to go BA. I don't personally like the front seats, although I'm 6ft they do give more legroom, but it's cold and i have to wrap my legs, so I don't take the seats any more. Great video tho
If you can find a PE seat for less than 2x the cost of economy, you got a deal. Otherwise it is often way overpriced in comparison.
I like the premeal part when you stuck the microphone out the window
The service was probably slow because they had to go around picking up the screwed up snack bags that some lazy slob passengers had thrown intentionally onto the floor! (Oh it's alright someone will clean up after me like at home)
Thinking the same. Those paassengers also didn’t respect the bulkhead.
I love BA but sadly found the same service issues on my flight from LHR to PHX slow service, trays left with us 45mins, then hours of no Cabin crew, they use to come round after dinner with water etc during our 11hr flight!
I hope you picked up the brown paper bag that you threw away and not left it for the cleaners, not a good example to show.
The amount of food seems to be quite little
I enjoyed your video up until you threw your litter on the floor. Any reason why you needed to do that?
You had to put your feet on the wall?
This premium economy is actually like a business class.
Enough chicken time to emphasize beef ,lamb steak etc
Isn't 20K where the Basinets are for young babies? I'm looking for a more quiet area. (no offence to those with small kids)
I don’t have any kids
You show airport full
the faceblurring did not work verry good ;)
BA is certainly no longer a premier airline. I recently had exactly the same meal on a return flight to Mexico in Premium Economy - and that @second meal service@ does not contain a sandwich but half and sandwich ! So much for their superior Do and Co menus. For the price this level of service is a disgrace and a rip off.
For being the flag carrier of such a prestigious country, british airways really is disappointing.
יפה
get your shoes back on! sat next to me with only sock - we would have had a word or two. Yob.
Omg, seriously? If they don’t smell who cares.
Screwing up your bag and throwing it the floor.....not nice!
Quite underwhelming pre arrival snack .
Can’t stand people who take there shoes off !! Gross 🤮
Definitely NOT worth it to pay the UK brand of a Spanish registered multinational that's simply harvesting cash from a brand they dont deliver,
Specifically, the failure to spend on adequate IT maintenance and upgrades, zero functioning customer service channels other than sales, intentional underprovisioning of catering and hyper densified cabins make them #BestAvoided
BA is useless A.F. in so many aspects nowadays.
Hate speeded up film.
BA proving they're still a crap airline lol
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
How late was this flight? Damn
