    Hello Sisi... I just made this Oil with 11 Overripe Avos and I managed to get around 200ml of pure and unadulterated Cold pressed Avo Oil.🕺🏿🕺🏿🕺🏿🙌🏿 on my very first attempt.
    One thing I’ve just noticed is that your oil is darker, mine was greenish and I think that’s because I was just one step earlier,just one more and my Avo paste would have been all black and richer...but I’m not really perturbed by that,afterall it was my very first attempt...next time I’m gonna wait till my Avo paste is completely darkened.
    Lastly,I’m based in South Africa 🇿🇦 and we are in Winter presently so what I did was I used my stove’s tray to lay my Avo paste 1,5m away from the heater and used the benefit of my underfloor heating,i changed the paste every 4-5 hours and within 24 hours I had a complete and freshly squeezed Avo Oil...though after seeing your video I notice that I was just a step away from achieving a complete dark paste,my patience wore off and excitement got the better of me.🤦🏿‍♂️ but nonetheless I am still happy with the end results.
    THANK YOU kindly for your guidance, I can now make my own Cold pressed Avo Oil.
    One last request, do I need/have to add Vitamin E in the jar so my oil doesn’t go all rancid or is it safe as is, in its purest form?
    Once again sisi I’d sincerely like to say THANK YOU,NGIYABONGA(Zulu), KEA LEBOHA(Sotho),NDIYA BULELA(Xhosa), MALEBO(Tswana & Pedi),NDIKHOVHUWA(VENDA) BAIE DANKIE(Afrikaans) in 7 of 11 of our Official Languages in South Africa 🇿🇦✌🏿😉

      Good job 👍 dear on your first attempt, I'm so glad you got it right.
      You don't' have to bother about the colour it all depends on the hours of drying the paste.
      If you are making the avocado oil next time, just take advantage of the winter wind to dry the paste, it's quicker and helps it to stay fresh through out the period of drying.
      Thanks for the feedback, your method and the many thank you you've expressed. God bless you richly.

      @@OnyxFoodHill I don’t have/need to add any Essential Oils on my Avo or do I have to??
      Thank you kindly for your advice and response,I’m scared of putting it outside, birds/flies/Rats might just ruin my paste🙈🙈 I’d rather keep it indoors not far from the door and window,they work perfectly fine,my house is perfectly ventilated and air circulates well enough.✌🏿🙌🏿

    Is there a difference between cold pressed and hot pressed oil?
    How long is the cold pressed avocado oil shelf stable?

    • @New.Horizon5
      @New.Horizon5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The difference is that the cold press is the traditional way as you are seeing here which is the healthier. On the other hand, warm or hot press is the industrial way which will take only few avocados to get high quantity of oil because of the sophisticated machines making it undergo hydrogenation and hence not healthy for the body. With cold pressing a lot of avocados are used to get small amount of oil as seen here but for warm press, I bet you one avocado can give you one liter

      I just saw another video where the peel and core are used to make oil however this uses sunflower oil to infuse but it turned out green so it’s obvious the peel and seed also has nutrients! So it should not be thrown away.
