I can vividly remember that when she wasn’t there, I would use the CD to play the songs from the album even though I had no idea who they were at the time lol.

I think everyone in Green Day has remained down to earth over the years. Unlike so many others who are negatively effected by fame & wealth. It can't be easy to not let it go to your head in some way. Maybe that's why when it does happen its so appreciated . And its Green Day with the hatrick for being & staying down to earth.😀💚

But just because it's not the old gd style doesn't mean that it's not good. Bands evolve and so does their music. We should all accept that and like their music for what it is. When I was about 10, in 1978, I started to really get into music. Someone gave me one of those suitcase turntables and my Dad gave me his box of 45s from the 60s. Beatles, Grass Roots, The Who, The Association...the list goes on and on. Tommy James and the Shondells was also in there - this was one of my favorite songs in that box. Thanks for bringing back some sweet memories for me today 😊
