Try their side project Foxboro Hot Tubs. It sounds like the Beatles, the Stones, and Chuck Berry had an orgy and made a baby.
They shot it in 4:3 like old tune TV's and lookslike on a VHS cam corder. Eighrer way, this somg rocks and is what we need right now. Gonna bgive the entire album a listen.
The only missing part in this is 90s homophobia, which I say really needed to be included.

Heck yes!!! Especially for the era! I never told anyone I was bi until about six years ago, so the fact they were so open to do it, which I don’t think was just down to his sexuality because he was already married when Dookie came out, is freakin awesome!!! He probably didn’t get the reaction I got when I first told someone, which was horrible and I hope it doesn’t happen to others, although I’m not that naive, put me off coming out. So I hid it and got married and then left him and grew a pair 😂

I've been a die-hard Green Day fan since I was 7. I remember being utterly obsessed with them, playing Dookie, Warning, and American Idiot on repeat 24/7. I've been rocking out to their tunes for a solid two decades, and oh boy, it's amazing to see them back with new music. They've played an enormous role in shaping who I am today, and they're an integral part of my life story. Much love, guys! Come to Brazil, please!

The first time i heard this song was at the concert, i thought it was so silly and cute, but then the boyfriend part came up and i screamed and looked at my dad. I'm so proud of Billie Joe for being who he is despite the generation he grew up in

I thank my mom for showing me such a inspiring band of all times. I loved, love and will love Green Day until the day I die. I have known this band since I was a 7 y.o. kid because my mom always put music next to me while I was eating. I've been listening to them for four years now, I'm 16 and Green Day is the only reason I wake up in the mornings. I wish I could meet them in person but since I was born and live in Latin America I barely can hear their beautiful songs. This is definitely my favorite one from this album but I have a lot of favorite songs from all albums. Love you so much. ❤

I’ve also been a fan since I was very young!! Begged my dad to give me his original 90’s CD’s for years until he let me. Green Day is such an amazing experience and it’s so heartwarming knowing how many others get comfort and happiness from their music and performance!

I became obsessed with this band about 3 years ago nobody at my school had heard of them but one day I was singing basket case and my mom asked me where I had heard that song. Turns out this had been her favorite band in high school and now for ky birthday we are going to one of greendays concerts together. So thanks greenday. For bringing us closer together.

Lifelong Green Day fan here, I really appreciated this album. Especially this song, people keep saying they’re either going back to their roots or don’t sound the same anymore, but I don’t think they’re trying to do that. I think just like any other artist with longevity, they are trying new things and some work better for them than others. I think they have found a new sound that works for them in a way that is easy listening for new comers as well as accessible to fans who have been there since the beginning. Cheers to their latest release!
Exactly. A lot of bands would have seen the success of a record like Dookie and try to photocopy it forever. The greatest bands want to take you on a fucking ride through the bowels of their creativity, wherever the winds may take them. I'm so grateful I've been on that ride for the last 30 years. They can do whatever the fuck they want. I'm there.

I just saw Green Day in Glasgow after waiting seven years to see them after they pulled out and it was fantastic! The energy they had, the pyro, the crowd interaction! They even got a fan to play guitar on stage for Dilemma as well as bringing one up during Know Your Enemy to chant. Not to mention hearing American Idiot and Dookie played all the way through! It was just magical.
Oh man you got to go to THAT show?! Shit that's amazing. I've been waiting 30 years to see them. I'm finally going this month and I'm so fucking excited.

Billie Jo is really branching out vocally on this album and hitting new notes. Get it, man! I never imagined while roller-skating to "When I Come Around" that these three gentleman would still be reaching new heights 30 damn years later!
Being bisexual, I love this song and I love how Billie is embracing his identity. This song speaks to me so much, not to mention the chorus is so hard-hitting.

I can't express how deeply happy this makes me. There's just so much love and acceptance in this video and the song itself it just... i can't explain it but there's something so special about this song and it's fucking incredible to see that Green Day is still going strong today and I am insanely happy and grateful that I get to be here while Green Day is still around (I'm 19 btw) and... idk this all just screams love and happiness and friendship and iconicness and old school and new at the same time and again, so much love, this video legit made me cry and I'm really struggling to put thoughts and especially feelings into words but I think I can sum it up pretty well with just thank you so much guys, everything about this is amazing, I love you ❤❤

Not only the video is extremely adorable and beautiful, but the message of this song is also precious. I interpreted it as a song about loving anyone no matter who you are or who you love. Not only romantically! you can still love your friends, family... And still want to scream it at the top of your lungs because love is love and it deserves to be shared no matter what other people say. This is the song the world needed right now 🫶 Thank you Green Day for making awesome music and creating a safe place for everyone!!! 🤘

I am 37 years old and I remember listening to dookie 30 years ago and falling in love with Green Day falling in love with her music all over again they have been one of my favorite bands they have grown up with I have grown up with them a child to a teenager to Tamiya adulthood
Y'all have only gotten better over the years. I've idolized these boys since grade school. I'm now 42 😂...😭. Finally got to see them live when they rolled through Iowa for my birthday a few years back. A dream come true!

@@knackerok it feels that way since it's better nowadays for your public image to be supportive, but there's still massive crowds of protesters at pride; there's still teenagers that shout slurs at the queer kids; there's still bigots who hide in comment sections like these; there's still parents who disown their children for being LGBTQ. literal bomb threats were made to Target last year due to their pride products. shootings and stabbings still happen in gay bars. the hate crimes never stopped. im forever grateful of how far the world has come and that people like Green Day are and have always very publicly supported the queer community but there is still a long, long way to go
