Building a House in 10 Steps: A Practical and Easy-to-Follow Guide

- Sure, here's a possible description of how to build a house in steps:
1. Planning: The first step to building a house is to plan out the entire process, including the budget, size of the house, architectural design, necessary permits, contractors, and required materials.
2. Excavation and Foundations: Once the details have been planned out, the next step is to prepare the site for construction. This includes excavating and leveling the ground and constructing the foundations of the house.
3. Framing: The framing is the skeleton of the house. In this step, walls, roof, and beams are put into place, and room divisions are built.
4. Electrical and Plumbing Systems: Electrical and plumbing systems are essential for the functioning of the house. In this step, water pipes, electrical wiring, air ducts, and heating and cooling systems are installed.
5. Insulation: Insulation is important for keeping the house warm in winter and cool in summer. In this step, insulation is installed in the walls, roof, and floor.
6. Exterior Finishes: The exterior finishes of the house protect the structure and give it an aesthetic look. In this step, wall cladding, roof covering, and windows are installed.
7. Interior Finishes: Once the basic structure is complete, it's time to add interior finishes such as wall cladding, flooring, doors, molding, and paint.
8. Fixtures: In this step, appliances, lighting systems, switches, and outlets are installed, and plumbing and electrical connections are finalized.
9. Landscaping: Landscaping refers to the exterior decoration of the house, including lawn planting, tree and shrub planting, and the construction of paths and patios.
10. Final Inspections and Approval: Before the house can be occupied, it must pass a series of final inspections to ensure it meets local safety standards and building regulations. Once construction is approved, the house is ready to be inhabited.
It's important to remember that building a house is a complex process that requires specialized skills and experience. If you don't have experience in construction, it's recommended to hire professionals and follow all local rules and regulations.

this should be a MANDATORY course for every engineer and architect
We already do similar things, at least from where I did my studies

@@chcjxjdkbxhxjj English?
@@lvseka that is good th hear. we need dual courses of study and therefore dual-trained engineers.
here in germany some german engineers (NOT some MERICA sh**) go from the gymnasium straight to the uni. and then ther we have the problem whith engineers without practical knowledge, german master craftsmen who are better than the engineers (except in extreme theories and calculations in the Antctic or Uranus) and the simple german craftsman
@@LudusArtifex Yah we had units that are more hands-on. However it's important to note that Engineers are Architects aren't meant to be builders, we are meant to be designers and to an extent project managers. Once we learn as much as possible that involves the practice, we head for internships and placements that help transfer that knowledge to the real world. Craftsman are meant to be hands-on by nature, it's important that everyone is left to handle their jobs and not compete or superimpose on each others roles.
Not only is this a scale model of a house being built, but he is also actually using tools that are to the same scale plus they mechanically work and the tiny hand tools! This is insanely awesome! Well done!
A bit of a stretch to say ‘house’… this is more like a parking lot lol
@@kohwenxu Yeah, let's get technical. 🤣🤣 Geez, it's an awesome build either way!!!! Have a great day!
I honestly think he did that just to have fun.... Sometimes it's relaxing to act like a kid in a sandbox.

Minus the fact, “home” didn’t translate correctly, this is amazing!
Home for cars 😁 Agreed, totally amazing
Haha I was wondering!!
I have friends who live in one of these. Which leads me to believe that he made this video for bums, like me. I however, prefer the classic cardboard box!
@@Uoldbum I prefer under the bridges. It’s quite nice and cozy down there
Fairly legit process but the need to Weld or pre set conduit graphing
i've had civil construction at highschool and one of the projects was to build a section of a house like this, leaving some bits with the different process of construction. It was one of the best practice classes
Okay, but what do you think of this video?
It's need to be school project
@@TheSkyDeveloper 😢😢
I literally think to be the cutest video ever. the small bags of cement, the mixer, and a little truck and trowel!! I was in awe just watching for the finished product. i actually learned a lot of stuff considering i knew nothing before his.
Now THIS is a house I'd love to live in!
It’s a parking structure.
Your patience and tenacity are amazing! Great job guys!

This is it!!! This is the type of video I've been looking for for years!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!! I'd love to see an American style house built next in the same fashion
No first world country would ever try half ass-ing like this if they dont want to get sued.
I am as noob as they come when it comes to this building subject. At first i thought i might learn something but when i saw concrete being poured over styrofoam with only a single bar support running across in the middle of the house 2nd/3rd floor thats when i knew this type of half ass-ing is only made in the third world.
There is so much stress in the middle of the floor with all the foot traffic, without proper support, over short time it will collapse easily
@saidroid3220 I was thinking the same thing with the supports..but im a total noob as well so I don't know any better
@@saidroid3220 this type of building wouldn't happen in the real world no matter what country you're in. This is half asses bc its fake like a dollhouse.
@Everything is Meh Yeah, not a house, it is too small, it should be at least twice the size
@@saidroid3220 You know this is a model right? And it is not intended to be arquitecturally accurate...
This kid very talented, definitely gonna have bright future in architectures world
Doubt it, as content creator sure. As real architect it require more than just this to be in front of the competition
And you don’t have to schedule all the disciplines (subcontractors) so they don’t get in each other’s way! Happiest job site I’ve ever seen!
great video, amazing workmanship, and I would like something like this for my diorama. but, this looked more like a mall parking space than a proper home.
but, don't get me wrong, you guys are amazing!!! and no doubt you can build more cooler things!!!
this, still looks like a parking space though.
Okay, I am not the only one who saw a parking lot, good!
U guys haven't seen the entire video right?
@@srlokachote2384 we did, but the title says it's a house....
@@srlokachote2384 I have... and believe me, we saw the whole video, but not the whole "house" just the mall sized parking lot.
🤣🤣🤣
We need more of these videos, with the tiny tools and everything.
Clean work and so hardwork done for viewers to understand construction, awesome 👍👍
Sempre muito inspirador!!! Obrigado
Kudos to the time and effort gone into making this. Great work!
This is incredible level of hardwork man 🤯
I love the mini cement truck, wheel barrow, and tools - lol. Oh, and the build was pretty cool too.

As a civil engineer I m impressed after seeing this video

Awesome work! Make it great by adding milestone titles so people know what stage of building you're moving to. Also, add a term or a short definition for critical actions taken. Finally, at different building stage, give a time spent "relative estimate" to a real building on an ideal budget.
Being an engineer..I just loved it ..but in Pakistan we used to fill the base plinth with sand and crush stone but u used complete cement and sand mix which has more strength but expensive also …but the video was amazing
R u civil engineer
@@usamam2227 nope..m mechanical engineer but I have some experience in construction too
Brother it's just a mini house like toys 😹... Why are you so seriously??🤣😂
@@paradiseparrots1849 Principle is based on actual construction....😶😶😶😶
@@frank-ko6de He says that he should add stones and sand also ... I want to say him that in this type of small mini house . There is no need of stones and sand

I just can’t even with the tiny tools, tiny cement bags, mini cement mixer, mini wheelbarrow. That is the cutest, funniest, and most awesome build I’ve seen. Thank you for this. You folks are amazing with skills to do everything with all those tiny tools. 😂❤️
Absolutamente, se necesita tiempo y paciencia, ¡pero el resultado final hace que todo valga la pena! Gracias por notar el esfuerzo que puse en los detalles. Su apoyo es muy apreciado.

i can assure you no talent went into the making of this video
Ame al Michi ahí tranqui, comprobando la seguridad de la construcción 😂❤️
Brooo even the tools 😭🔥 you're an artist
Great job. Plz bring more videos. ❤
I'm impressed. It's not a way we use to build our houses here but it's definitely not wrong this was either. If I may give you a little tip for the next time but if you already do this then my bad... Maybe try to oil your concrete retaining walls before filling them. It makes the concrete stick less to them and makes for a smother wall. Good luck next time😊
Tava com saudades dos vídeos 👍😍
Just wonderful! I'm Brazilian and I really like making models.
i never knew i needed to see this
Bloody stunning man, huge congrats. Must have took months to complete 👍👍
i hope while doing this work, there are descriptions for the materials and techniques

Incredible video!
Excellent video !! next time can you add text in the video to explain the materials and the steps please ? It will be more clearer for the students
Where did you get those yellow forms for the concrete?
very helpful, I just hope that the materials used are listed on the video escpecially their names
Amazing 👏👏👏
💯 percent accurate.
Keep up guys....
Yo no se mucho de construcción y eso, pero pienso que antes de tirar las vigas; para el segundo piso deberían de meterle par de varillas a los block, pero así son las construcciones modernas

I love you dude! This is fantastic!
Calidad, Dios bendiga tus manos👐
They really made a tutorial to how to make a parking garage, assuming that we'd want to make one
In which I do, but I lack the skill nor the motivation to do it, so I'll just sit here, enjoying this masterpiece
Can you make 'the one' mini luxury house?
I just liked for the hardwork you did in all that steelwork..... Awesome vedio

What is the white foamy that they used? And is really used in construction? Thanks
