An interesting project, it looked really good but I could see leakage around the sides of the dam, maybe next time you can go further into the bank and a thicker main wall as I can forsee that collapsing within weeks.
My thoughts exactly. I know an engineer who stacked up bags of concrete mixture and hammered rebars into them vertically. The concrete set as the dam impounded the creek and the bags came under water. It lasted until the next storm; the flow eroded the soil on both sides.

The ends of the dam walls are supported by uncompacted earth and have no stone pitching in the embankments near the edges of the wall also the side channel will not long last as no RCC is provided on the bed. This dam will wash away in a few days

This brought back memories of as a kid my friends and I would dam up the creek below the house with rocks and logs and then sticks and mud to make our fishing hole deeper (Swimming hole too) At one time during the summer we had raised the water level 3 ft Ok we mostly did it out of boredom but we did have a cool place to swim and fish for bluegill That dam stood the test of time for years

Nice creation and a lot of effort put in it, but the dam can't last very long, 14:18 -14.22 you can see the water already seeping around the top (left mostly) corners through the ground and around the dam structure. Also, I'd add a small generator somewhere at the bottom, adding rocks below the water spillway, and the water jump would dissipate the energy of the water and prevent erosion. Another great idea would be using Arduino water sensors to control the opening of the gates to regulate water height.

Well, this is good for getting money using TH-cam. There is zero chance that this construction survives first rain. If it lasts even that long. Wasting natural resources is not what decent people do.

This brought back memories of as a kid my friends and I would dam up the creek below the house with rocks and logs and then sticks and mud to make our fishing hole deeper (Swimming hole too) At one time during the summer we had raised the water level 3 ft Ok we mostly did it out of boredom but we did have a cool place to swim and fish for bluegill

Исполнение идеальное, все сделано красиво, но вопрос с обходной фильтрацией по бортам сооружения к сожалению не решен, когда наполнялось водохранилище по правому берегу было видно следы замачивания, бортовое примыкание нужно делать либо глубже либо усилять его замещением водопроницаемых грунтов на слабопроницаемые. Удачи в будущих проектах.
Да они построили, видео отсняли и потом сносят все это. И заново строить другую платину для нового видоса. Тут и бетон 100% не водоустойчивый.

Nice creation and a lot of effort put in it, but the dam can't last very long, 14:18 -14.22 you can see the water already seeping around the top (left mostly) corners through the ground and around the dam structure. Also, I'd add a small generator somewhere at the bottom, adding rocks below the water spillway, and the water jump would dissipate the energy of the water and prevent erosion. Another great idea would be using Arduino water sensors to control the opening of the gates to regulate water height.
