I do believe that the smaller ones where hybrids. Notice the uneven stripes down the side. The bigger ones you caught had uniform stripes. Either way, great day of fishing!!!!
You boys are lucky. I got a 375.00 ticket for fishing in that exact spot cause i wasnt wearing my pfd. Had them on the boat right next to me. But they had to be on and the dam wasnt even running

I got a 22 pounder from that walk way one night while catfishing. Also got the biggest drum ive ever seen that night. Not one catfish though.
Very cool. But put on a life jacket. You could have easily died if you went over when you stumbled there. That is a hell of a current there.
