Thank you! I'm really trying to get more knitting into my life this year, especially the socks. I'm using a free pattern from Lion Brand- basic socks it's the first sock pattern I ever did and I didn't find it too complicated if you know the basics of knitting.Happy stitching :-D

I loved her as soon as I saw her. I bought and started her right away that was in 2011! I'd like to see her framed and on my wall soon, she has been patiently waiting. So hopefully I'll make some steady progress on her this year. She really is easy to stitch as far as confetti in HAEDs go. I hope you enjoy working on her as well

Thanks for the heads up on JE pieces, this is the first I've started of hers, but have a couple of her fairies I want to stitch one day, so I won't psych myself up for a finish on any of them soon, Lol. I do have a pair of ski goggles that I sometimes wear when it's super cold out, most days it doesn't seem that bad and I don't need them, but regret it once I get home, I'm trying to not waste that time and work on a simple knitting project instead. Really enjoyed your video - I love your Bunny Biscornu - such cheerful colours. Spring is my favourite season. We're having a late one here in England this year with an unusually cold February. I'm sitting here stitching with a hot water bottle on my lap in my thin walled Victorian house. I'm sure it would not feel cold to you being in Canada but we are not prepared for it here ! Your bunnies gave me hope !
Hi Mary, I think in England you have a different type of cold, with it being more damp. Here in Canada it is usually a dry cold, but on days the humidity is higher, you definitely feel the difference. Is the walled victorian house the chatelaine I'm thinking of? I would love to see your progress, I see you don't make videos, but are you on instagram?

Love watching you work on Grove. You made the right choice on Minerva. My Tilton chart of Beauty and the Beast 2017 has the same dithering in the background so those pages go really quick for me compared to others but then I get burnt out on the blues.
Thank you! I totally get burning out on the background colours! Even more so when the background is all a variation of one colour, but it seems like the best way to get the gradual blend of colour with out harsh lines in stitching.

OMG I have a short hair gray Russian Blue cat too, he was names Smokey, but my husband renamed him to Spooky, because of his yellow eyes and dark gray nose.
Hahaha! That's a fantastic rename for a cat! I'm not sure what breed these ones are, we rescued them from a stray cat in the neighbourhood when they were kittens so I'm sure they should be anything. Lol! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment

Thanks! I really try to push myself out of my comfort zone every once in a while, some have been very successful other not quite so much, lol! I love doing hardanger, but I've only ever done small sections of it, so I'm not sure how well I'd do with a large piece. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to start Chaman yet, I might save it until I go to my stitching retreat in May. Are you starting yours ASAP? I do follow you on IG so I guess I'll see in due time if you do... Happy stitching :-D
