I had a similar unit from a lesser known brand. It worked fine for cars, but struggled with truck/Jeep tires.
I’ve since bought an 18V Milwaukee inflator & it works like a charm - real fast. Obviously takes-up more space, but it fits behind the front seat & is solid for any beach or off pavement needs.

Where did you plug the 12v cigarette lighter lighter plug into? I didn't think any of the new Colorado's had them, I know my 23 z71 Colorado doesn't. I'm really hoping I just assumed incorrectly because I've never really looked.

It's located in the center console at the bottom of the cubby facing towards the front if the truck.

Oof. I’ve been through multiple portable inflators (they just all burn out after a few years of regular use, even after replacing fuses) and I’m going to spend good money on onboard air next. Slime makes a couple good ones that lasted me over a year, using them several times a month sometimes on multiple vehicles. Amazing on its own because of how junky it feels but I did use one until it melted 😂

That's what I'm planning to do eventually is going onboard air but other things currently have priority. You can beat the speed or reliability of onboard air just pricey. This is a good option if you are on a budget.

Why don't you just get a system with 4 hoses going to each tire? That way you can air up all 4 tires within 5ish minutes instead of just one.

Eventually that's the plan but that also costs a lot of money. With a twin air compressor, wiring, and the 4 tire inflation kits you are looking close to $750-$850. At the moment I rather put money in other aspects of the truck then save 10 minutes on airing up.
