This was the absolute best video to practice along with - I genuinely paused at each moment to write down my own responses and then compared them a bit with Mark's. Truly appreciate this.
@IGotAnOfferPM - Just wondering why Mark didn't prioritize one pain point and go on to design solution for it at various fidelity and complexity. I usually prioritize one pain pint and go deeper into it with solutioning.
This interviewee speaks fast and says many words. But once you parse what he is saying, the rationale and arguments are very shallow and unsubstantiated. Just as an example, consider the following argument he makes: "Fitness is something that's very, very, very primitive to the human experience, and I think it's something that Meta could take a good stab at and launch some interesting products." 🙄
The point is to show the framework and thinking. Think about his rationale and arguments as filler. What matters more is the technique, not the content.

for the painpoint (working out with friends), i think we could also add it build a sense of community, which nicely ties back to Meta's mission to give people the power to build community
i think having integrations with different tracking devices/apps wont be of low impact as its not necessary that you need to have devices like fitbit you can simply install google fit on the phone and get started so for MVP this could have been done quickly later if people find that useful they may upgrade themselves to buy fitbit etc. So for MVP we could have started with basic integration for tracking using apps like google fit , followed by fitness challenges and low priority would be the event - Kiran Premchandani
You have 3 months timeline. Why not go ahead with those who provide services for fitness, than those who seek? Much crisp problem areas, lesser efforts for distribution of the product
So if everything he said would be classed as a basic-ish answer, how much more could you capitalise on that? Like is it possible to "overdo" it in the allocated time or would nobody give a fook?

even more impressive that he got this done in less than 30 min!

Closest to perfect interview that I’ve seen
I feel motivation should have been a pain point to prioritize, because it also impacts the goals like adoption and engagment. WDYT?
Would Meta fitness challenge be described as an app or a feature/tab?

Why did you choose 3 different painpoints and not only 1?
Helps you showcase prioritisation skill
Mark is amazing! Can we have more of him on other product sense or behaviour questions?

Used a lot of jargons without reasoning why and how it would impact
