- yes that is correct! I gave up my house and my job to live in a van that I've converted into a campervan . this vw crafter was converted into a campervan by myself with no experiance and on a tight budget for me to eliminate the rat race of modern day life to be able to live in a van.

Im thinking about cutting my days down as a hgv driver too and start enjoying myself a bit more.
If i live in my van i could probably do 4 to 5 days in winter while weathers shite and 2 to 3 in summer. These videos your doing are really enjoyable and giving me some ideas and places to visit. Thankyou.

lol you can make it through that flood! Worse ones near us in Lancashire ribble valley all the time ! Love this video. Also got autistic kids and travel about in a van. Actually find it’s easier to park up on mates drives or even outside their houses on the street and tell the neighbours than stay in random places with them in case we get the knock. Had it a few times alone but only once with kids in tow. They were quite shaken by it , didn’t really get why the po wanted us to move at all.

I’d love to see you go full time. You’ve certainly put in the hours.
I’m a nurse working 60-70 hours a week with of long night duties with one or two nights off at most. This is to make mends. It’s depressing and soul destroying. I don’t see my family at all. I love putting a smile on all my patients faces but there certainly isn’t anyone putting one on mine. Bills are so high so l have to work as many hours as possible. I may have to work a few hours in the day as well. I admire everyone like yourself that can spend time with your families. You are all blessed. ❤
Sounds exactly how I was. Let me guess.. a weeks holiday is taken up from just recovering from burn out but that's only as and when the company can free you up enough to take holidays. That's the reason I no longer work. Blown my mind how burnt out I was without even knowing

My two kids are ASD, and so am I.
I’ve just been priced out of my home of 5 years and have no choice but to spend a few months living in my tiny van for a few months. At the grand old age of 53 in temps of -3 and no heating I do t relish the first few weeks for sure

We rented a motorhome when in the UK and found lots closed, it also wasn’t as easy to get gas for the cooker as it is in Australia, the hire company even gave us a list of places in the UK where we can buy it, that was strange to us. How did you go with the floods? Now you’ve “retired” you can do more videos eh, that would be great, love your videos. 💕

I work 7 days a week 10 hours a day have been for decades and because im self employed i dont get paid holidays ect. Some weeks i work 6 days to get a day off. My body is falling to bits. I need to find that happy medium.

Although we probably only get to see you when things are going good, there are times when I think back, and feel sorry that things between you and Danielle didn't work out..., just as I do about my ex wife. Be very careful when sleeping in a van with earplugs. I know the sounds can be super irritating, BUT you want to be able to hear if there is someone dodgy casing your van for goodies. Stay safe out there

Have you looked into dividend investing, it could help make you money for without doing anything. The idea is the price of the ETFs or stocks don't matter to much because you care about getting paid the monthly dividend unless of course it's dropping to low and the company is going bankrupt, hence a focus on ETFs (collection of companies). Idk how that stuff works in the UK but it might be worth looking into.
