What this movie really displayed is how much guns gave the vampires an advantage during this war because in these times, you could only fire long range shots once every few seconds at best. In the modern times of Underworld when Selene is involved, they could fire dozens if not hundreds of silver bullets in seconds to avoid hand to hand/close combat with the Lycans. In close combat during medieval times like this, the Lycans/Werewolves have a clear advantage and that's why they won this battle!
in pure base level strength and damage lycans in full form have the advantage in their human form they are equal to a vampire in strength of course their training, physique and how fit they keep them selves also helps vampires how ever seem to have an advantage in agility and speed they also seem to be able to kind of glide when they jump so they have a mobility advantage again training, how phyiscally fit they were pre turn and how they maintain them selves post turn also play a factor we see that vampires go for weapons that are able to be used with agile and fast combat styles showing they know they have a disadvantage in pure strength and so they play on their speed and agility, we also know that immortals in general get stronger naturally with age when it is implied that alexander corvinus would have been able to take on his sons in a fight with relative ease.

Revenge is a dish best serve cold, but sometimes it's as warm and satisfying as a bowl of soup. And this scene proves that. I just can't understand why critics gave the Underworld franchise such bad reviews.
An experienced vampire in armor and with a silver sword can easily fight hand-to-hand with werewolves. Werewolves are of course physically stronger, but silver cuts them like butter, and they also feel pain + they stop thinking normally in this form.
@@КексикВеликий what I meant was brute fights. That Victor is not the only vampire who can take down lycans without using silvers. With bare knuckles and kicks. That is my point. What I am saying is at least, the vampires are strong to match the Lycans with only hand-to-hand combat.
In the making of UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION,the director ,and production designer mentioned they used actual armor. And made their own for that flick. A lot which got reused for RISE. So I wouldn't be surprised the suits Viktor and his fellow Death Dealers were sporting were fully functional. It was mentioned by the production staff the real stuff looked better on film.
Seeing the vampires in the main hall scream in fear after all they did to the lycans, all I think of when seeing that is Scott hall razor Ramon saying “Look at you now…” 😂
It depends on the vampire, their training, the various blood they drink, etc. In this series when a vampire drinks another vampires blood they get the memories, techniques and strength of said vampire. The main protagonist of the rest of the series, Selene, becomes something like a vampire god by the end. In this series, werewolves are much stronger than most of the vampires, but most of the vampires don’t train for combat. Most of them are just an aristocracy.

They should've made the vampires able to transform too, like in Van Helsing.
Van Helsing was amazing
Nah. While Marcus got a transforming super mode, it would really work if everyone could do it. I assume you saw how powerful it made him. Quoting Vegeta "there seems to be a sale on Super Saiyans". Still, I appreciate the idea.
@@fredfry5100 but I believe what makes Marcus powerful is 1. he's and elder and 2. at the end of the last film, the blood of the lycan scientist which Viktor killed, woke him up by dripping into him. Not sure if it was mentioned in anything but I'm sure it made him more powerful, some kind of hybrid.
@@senor3187 Yes Marcus became a Hybrid and was the first of the 'Elders'. I'm not including his father, who was a Human immortal, potentially more powerful than any of the others.
@@senor3187Markus could already transform (just with less muscle feaures and strenght overall) which mames me think that viktor convinced everyone that all elders could transform like that and that he didn't transform was because he didn't need to (guy had spent all his points in charisma and manipulation of masses)
now imagine this is 15th-century France and you have one of the documentaries ever :D
among other things I love this movie, for the depiction of the Vampire soldiers is really close to the Dark Elves of Warhammer (armor, fighting style)
Lucian was such a great and loveable character man..the best lycan ever
Gyerünk farkasemberek! Ők a legjobbak! 🤩 Nagyon nagy harcosok!🥳🥳🥳
7:50 conversations like this is getting rarer in the movies now. Short but has a deep meaning.
The part where Raze (Kevin Grevioux) transitions from human to wolf while going up the stairs is brilliant.
Someone in the comments said they where confused on how Viktor survived in the movie and yet died by Selene 😂😂😂 this is a prequel movie it's how it all started keep that in mind.
LONG LIVE THE LYCANS
Honestly it looks like Lucian would have had it…he was hanging in there in his human form. His beast form would definitely overpower Victor. Victor is so lucky Lucian didn’t become a hybrid
Love the mix of cgi and practical effects!
The elders gone too soon...hope they will resurrect on the next vol
The first 3 Underworld movies are timeless masterpieces
The entrance of the Vampires elite forcre to the fight is pure fire 🔥 cool as fuck , like 5 dudes versus an army of lycans with no fear is awesome
Filme muito bom demais para assistir
Everybody knows Werewolves are cooler.
Yeah, but Kate Beckinsale in black leather is the best. xD
🌚@@cryptidian3530
In Dracula era, vampires used to slaved werewolves because werewolves doesnt realized that they actually can ripped vampires apart like a tissue.
I love this movie cause werewolves no more slaved by vampires 🔥
This was the only installment of this franchise that I liked.
This was my favorite scene out of this entire Movie 🎥 ✌🏾 🧛🏻♂️ 👊🏾 🐺
Bill Nighy was meant to play Viktor. He was so good in the role.
Miss those film..hope they make another one
Such a dam good movie series
This is the best underworld movie
This is the best ending ✊🔥🔥🔥
i think this was the best one of all!!
Because of these movies I played Skyrim for the first time in 2017 I found it extremely fun when reverting back into vampire lord transform into a werewolf was fun 😂
They did a real good job with these movies.
"Wanna revenge ? Its out there." Best sentence from underworld.
Revenge is a dish best serve cold, but sometimes it's as warm and satisfying as a bowl of soup. And this scene proves that.
I just can't understand why critics gave the Underworld franchise such bad reviews.
cuz they were not enough gays and transgender people in the franchise.
I hated Lucian’s fate especially after watching this movie.
I've always loved this series. The way Lucian dies is anticlimactic however. He deserved better!
In the beginning the officials are always motivating the folks but when shit goes in the wrong way they always leave the battlefield
I cannot forget victor's voice even if i hear it after 50 years. He was just perfect for this role nd this is the best movie in underworld series.
The only thing I don't like in the Underworld Series is the vampires don't have physical strength to punch, kick the werewolves.
It depends on the vampire. In the first movie Victor kills several with his bare hands.
Awesome series!!!
Bill Nighy Oscar worthy performance.
Gotta love that Hollywood armor that looks like steel but is about as protective as paper.
It was mentioned by the production staff the real stuff looked better on film.
love the uniform of death dealer
x2
This was my favourite Underworld film!
I wish we got to see how selene and amila got alone during her in charge
SICK
I never saw a movie more good then This
I think the first Underworld is the better of the two but all the rest come behind this.
ABSOLUTELY W I C K E D FILM!
0:02 Thats me
119 that's me
Tremenda película y actores.buenisima
Its like the vampire racists Aparheid regime vs underdogs they treat as below them... sadly in real world the underdog rarely wins
You've heard of Revolutions? They happen all through history and potentially there's a few on the horizon too.
Seeing the vampires in the main hall scream in fear after all they did to the lycans, all I think of when seeing that is Scott hall razor Ramon saying “Look at you now…” 😂
Vampires fight like they're humans. Are vampires supposed to be fast? What a lousy fight! I love Bill Nighy though.
