I bought exactly the same setup. The hand grinder should arrive next week. I'll order the bottomless sieve today. I'm excited to see what my results will be. I'm just skeptical about whether I shouldn't have paid a higher price for the hand grinder. As soon as I have everything I'll share my experiences here in the comments. Good luck and it would be cool if you could continue to share your experiences.
Very nice! Let's see if the final setting in this video will work for yours as well 🤞. I will keep posting updates regularly. Looking forward to your results ☕😉☕
Hi! Also thinking about getting this setup, i would highly appreciate an update 😇 Especially if the setting steps are fine enough to set the right extraction time. Cheers!
Well done, it is helpful to show the different trials in finding the perfect grind. Interested to know if the coffee beans used are dark or medium roast
Hi coffee experts, is it possible to achieve such nice looking crema from any coffee beans I can grab at supermarket - even the arabica and robusta mix of beans, or would I have to use only some special type? Is the perfect crema a result of correct preparation or actually the beans play huge role in here, therefore having the very same equipment as on the video I still couldn't use any coffee found that the shop (ex. some Costa, Starbacks whole bean coffee)? BTW. great video - I was almost watching it with fingers crossed for your last attempt to see you finally made it :)
Thanks a lot 😅 me too🤞☕ I haven't tried the supermarket beans yet, but from the coffee experts' comments and some classified sources, they need to be freshly roasted 5-10 days ago. Probably the roast degree is also involved but I'm not an expert.. I will try it also with supermarket beans later, cz the current coffee beans I'm using cost about 40€/kg 🤑☕☕
@ozzikk4566 You should consider the roasting level, usually dark roast or medium roast is the best, of course depending on your taste profile. You can also try single origin coffee beans to see which cup profile suits your taste level. Also need to consider when the coffee beans were roasted . If the roast is very recent, your coffee beans can be too fresh for espresso preparation bcz it will still contain the carbon dioxide that accumulated in the beans during roasting. So, when you try to pull a shot there’ll be too much gassy crema bubbling out of your portafilter spouts. So let the roasted coffee beans rest for a few days before using them. Many coffee experts advise that espresso blends taste best after five days and up to two weeks after roasting.
@@MyDailyCappuccinoThanks! I’m really curious how the “old beans” will do 😀 …as this would crucial for me to consider buying similar gear or to go for let’s say DeLonghi Magnifica machine.🤔
@MyDailyCappuccino not sure but yeah mine came with the esp dail. Try looking it up timemore espresso dail plate. Adjustment is around 23 micron can go finer grind size
I don't actually know 🙈 I've asked the coffee roaster to give me freshly roasted ones for espresso machine.. But I can ask more details next time I buy 😅☕
Saya Akan Coba Untuk Giling Espresso, Dengan Grinder Timemore Chestnut C3 Esp Pro Yg Sudah Saya Beli ..
