Thank you for this review! I have a JBL Flip 4 and it doesn't hold a charge anymore. I took it apart to discover the battery is melted so no since in ordering a new battery replacement. I purchased this Aldi bluetooth speaker on June 5th and have been wondering how it rates to my old JBL. For $25 I'm going to keep it. Thank you again and I'll subscribe. If I want a portable speaker with decent sound that plays podcasts loud enough the ALDI one would work for me as it just works and doesn't advertise any extra features like some of the more known portable speaker brands where you spend more money and can pair two portable speakers together. if you find the battery life, can you share that info. on the instruction manual it says 1-3.5 hours and it takes up to 4 hours to charge, which doesn't look right. not sure if it is a typo on the manual.
How do you switch between volume up and down and next and previous track? I got one of these today and it sounds good. But I only seem to be able to change to the next track.
btw the speaker does not have a lot of bass. So you might crap it out if you want to rock! Although it handled some Stevie Ray Vaughan and BB King very well! But not enough bass. I've yet to try it on a phone call you can hook your phone calls to it too which I hope is cool and works. I found your video because I didn't have one of those tiny instruction manuals and I wanted to see someone unbox it so I would know if I was missing anything.

Find a cozy spot for it out of the wind get a little reverb going lol . My neighbors should probably give you a review they are listening to some very good tunes!!!! 🎵😁

Thanks for watching. As far as the charge time, 4 hours seems right. For playback, I ran the speaker for 5.5 hours and it’s still working.

I did it but I'm not sure how I did it I think you hit the power button a couple of times.

Thanks for watching! Short (quickly) press the + and - buttons to adjust volume. Long press (about two seconds) to switch tracks. Hope this helps.

I bought it, and it doesn't turn off. I can't connect anything to it either. Do not waste your $25

It was 9.99 at my Aldi today and mine works great. Long press aka press and hold to turn it off. Or go swap it at Aldi.
It's bluetooth name was BG1 on my available devices list.
