The laptop turning on when you sit in front of it is not the Dell, it's part of It's part of "Windows Hello" and available on any newer laptop running Windows that has a camera.
These are $4,000 computers that you can't even spec out to the max like in this video. The most RAM Dell will give you is 32gb. You're going to have to buy the 64 and put that in yourself. :( It might be more cost effective (cheaper) to buy a laptop with an AMD chip rather then an Intel. You'll save a lot of coin that way. Still, if you have the cash flow, this looks pretty sweet. Just not for the everyday creative professional. :(
Apple M1 is incredible for video editing. Even the 1000€ MacBook Air 8GB handles the same 4K projects I throw at my R9 3900X, 32GB, GTX 1660S 6GB PC. Apple's optimization is incredible. Look at DaVinci Resolve, for example; it took them a while to get everyting optimized for M1 but once they did even the lowest-end models could edit in 4K or higher resolutions with great playback of long-GOP H264/5 (they quoted at 3x performance increase in their 17.3 changelog). That said, I didn't go Apple for three reasons: --1) Screen size and high cost. The affordable models are all 13.9". The first 15+" MacBook costs 2500€. --2) Storage space and expandability. I can't stand the idea of being stuck with 250 or 500GB in the affordable MacBooks. It's easy as pie to throw in more storage or RAM into most non-Apple laptops. --3) I don't like Apple's anti-repair attitude they only are starting to loosen now. I went for a Dell Precision 5760 for 1200€. A great machine with not much less performance than my desktop PC and a solid upgradeablitly path for storage and memory.
Love the way you shot this video Brandon! Oh and cool to see you posting again!
Nice video bro!!! Got me thinking about getting a Dell.
Thanks bro this thing is a monster!
I got mine but i see the laptop gets too much overheated just after 30 minutes use.Are you facing the same?
I'm so tempted I have a Lenovo yoga 720 15 Nvidia, miss having the SD slot. Been wondering just upgrade the SSD or buying something like this.....

Oh ok this is my first windows in like 6 years.
@@bwashmedia Sure thing. ;)
Wish you had included the specs in writing and what the price would be.
Can you edit 6k raw at its highest file size?
According to another video I saw, it could play 6K BRAW and even 8K footage (ProRes RAW, I think), even handling 6K Sony Venice Long-Gop codecs.
Is it noisy?
i use Dell Precision 7550 daily the bigger model of this
Someone please buy this laptop for me.. 🙄🥺
dawg do you sing?

Bro giveaways. Dell
Why the quotes when you say it’s sponsored by dell?...the video IS sponsored by dell lol
Lol, how can anyone still be recommending Windows when Apple M1 is out? It’s hilarious
Actually, yes. A lot of people prefer (and require) Windows.
Cause M1 is not a good pick for video editing. Especially if you are using the Adobe Creative Cloud
apple M1 for editing is trash
