    I've had these on my Kawasaki Vulcan S for almost a year now. I love them, they look like they were made for the bike. I regularly carry full loads of shopping in both.
    It's important that you spray some WD40 into the locks every so often, esp if you ride in the rain a lot like I do. I also got some Matt black paint to match my bike and painted all the bolts, this is important as they rust very quickly otherwise.

      @@kostanos I'm still happy with them. I added a taillight to the back of each which was easy enough to do and I've zero experience of doing that kind of stuff.
      I really recommend them.
      I live in Ireland where it rains a lot, my stuff never gets wet.

    This was a really good review. I've been looking for good bags for my bike (Harley Davidson street 750) and I'm considering these ones. I appreciated the detaild description of what you had to do with the brackets. You did say that the bags were a bit wobbly but parallelt with the mudguard so it seemed reasonable. Anyway, good review, honest and realistic comments about what you were thinking as installing the bags. Very appreciated.

    Those bags are OEM design for Yamaha v star 950 & 1300 cruisers. eBay is flooded with those same bags but they have no name brand.

    • @mx5701
      @mx5701 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Craftride is also a "no name brand" - it's literally just Motea slapping this fake "Authentic Biker Gear, plz trust us k???" brand on Chinese copies of OEM parts. Shady and intransparent as fuck if you ask me.

    Great video. I was looking to get these to fit a Yamaha Raider.
    Problem is, i don't know the fitting measurements, the Motea website only mentions the full size.
    And the exhaust is quite big on these bikes...
    Do you still have measurements that you drew on the cornflakes box?
    It's to know where exactly the fittings go and how low the box actually hangs

    • @harleydavidsonbeginner5428
      @harleydavidsonbeginner5428  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just looking at raiders on line. The exhaust is quite high. You could make them fit if you have the skills. However they may have to sit a little high? Sorry cornflakes box is long gone.
      I can see people fitting a smaller bag to raiders, maybe that's the way to go?
      Good luck and let me know how you get on!

    It's a good thing you didn't buy the Viking bags. I got those shipped from the US to Portugal in early 2021. They are already degrading. It's really crap fleather they use. Not ABS plastic. Bits have started wearing out. And it was a major pain to put them on my Vulcan S 650. How is the build quality of these? And can they hold decent amount of stuff for touring? The weight and the plasticness bothers me a little. Can you share more of your experience having these on now for a while? Thanks!

      I just checked the invoice in my email, i hoped it may show the weight. But it unfortunately does not. I threw the box away a year ago, so i can't read the label off that. They are bolted on the bike so i cant weigh them. I think the best thing would be to email them and ask the weight of the package?
      Good luck, i hope it works out. I am in to a year of using them and like them.
