    I'm an analytical chemist by profession and greatly appreciate details without verbal 'padding'. This is by far the most explicit, yet understandable how-to video I have seen on any subject on TH-cam. This video should be the model for which other how-to videos are created. I'm sure it was time consuming to create, but the care and 'scripting' is excellent! Thank you for the explanation and the great example of how other how-to videos should be edited.

    Thank you for the clear tutorial with some important key tips! Especially about measuring from inside the channel to the frame and using duct tape to keep the frame from bowing. Mine came out perfectly as a result.

    Very detailed. I was looking over the parts list from Home Depot and wondered how to use the tension springs and the lift clips. This answered my questions!

    the rounded wheel is also for pre rolling the screen into the channel, then push in the spline with the other roller.

    I repaired my window screen and door screens four years ago. I still have the clips and the black pull up thing, I didn't know what the extra gagets was for.
    I'm 71 year old grandma, still learning.

    This was great. Thanks for providing this video. I tried using the very same materials from Home Depot to make a screen. But didn't think to hold down the frame with duct tape to prevent bowing; which was a constant problem for me. Thanks for providing the tip about bowing.

    I am going to use the info in this video to shorten my screen frame to fit the space above my window swamp cooler. Replacing the screen with clear plastic used for sealing windows in winter🤞I am a 71yo woman

    If your building on site, or at home, check your frame fitment for ease of installation/removal on the window, before installing the screen. Nice video Sir.

    This was extremely helpful! I just bought a house, have lived in apartments for the past few years. All the houses I've seen in the past 20 years had new windows which came with screens. My house has very old single glzed wooden windows with no screens so I wasn't sure how to go about getting screens, but figured there was a way to do it cheaper than paying a company to install custom screens in my windows. I plan to do 2-4 windows for now, just so I can get cross ventilation going when the weather is nice.
