I was diagnosed with adhd around 34 years old and suddenly, my entire life made sense. I always got in trouble at school. I couldn’t stay in my seat, I always talked, I would clean my room for hours and it looked worse then when I started. As an adult, I had problems managing appointments and stuff. I’ve always had a financial issue because I would forget to write things down, or forgot I spent more then intended. I impulse bought, I stockpiled because of fear of being without. My closet is color coded, towels folded certain ways, but dishes in both sinks. I have adhd with ocd tendencies. But after being diagnosed, my life made sense. It was a relief actually because finally I knew it was okay to be me. People thought I was just a ditzy blonde. Oh. One more thing. When I was in high school. I couldn’t focus long enough to study, so I would record me reading the study sheet and play it on my boom box on repeat when I slept. I passed every test and graduated 5th in my class as an honor student.
I'm 51 and I'm pretty sure I'm ADHD inattentive type. I see alot of people in their 50s getting diagnosed . I think our generation was overlooked when young...we basically raised ourselves. I don't plan on getting an official diagnosis, I've made it this far and it's who I am. :)
My son who is 28 found out this year he has a cross over of both ADHD and autism. It was a big light bulb moment for me, as his quirky behaviour as a child and his traits as an adult suddenly made so much sense. I now have a lot of understanding and feel so much more connected with him, it goes without saying that he also has a much better understanding and self acceptance for who he is too. 😌💙
Oh my gosh! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I, 31, have just been diagnosed with ADHD and moderate aspergers. I wish your son well, it's a weight lifted with a diagnoses and everything just seems so much clearer.
I was diagnosed as autistic and ADHD this past year but I’ve know for years. It’s interesting knowing finally. I’m glad you found out much earlier than me so that you can take steps to make your life a little easier with therapy and tricks to help. We are unique and not broken and you’re doing amazing things by sharing
High five!
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 30. I hope your providers are also supportive of the range of mental health experiences you may have. You have been a warrior for years so it would be understandable if you are processing trauma. Sending you love and grace as you focus on healing your mental health.
true but one of the principal reasons is because of the different symptoms between males and females. i havent watched the video yet but if this is her new diagnosis then that explains why i love her so much. neurodivergence is my thing.
@ericaaubie860 Yes, I get that. It's misleading because the people who follow her journey from the beginning might think the cancer came back and, like myself, worry for her.
Thank you Romee as that could be me getting diagnosed later in life but I won’t as waiting for hip surgery so I am miserable a lot but watching you always brightens my day as you have such a naturally happy disposition and I will say it again you are very beautiful. I hope your journey to complete wellness goes smoothly. Xxx
Joining ADHD club here. 😊 2 of my sisters have adhd and I have it too. It has never held me back but the procrastination, starting things and switching to another, not staying on top of things, etc has been a stressful issue forever. I've always had good grades and a successful career but the energy put to making sure that happenes results in exhaustion in other areas so I need to dedicate time and really force myself. I'm positive there are better ways lol!! I'm here to tell you there's supportive folks now as many have shared my generation was really overlooked, especially girls. Never hesitate to reach out. I'm 60 and I adopted a beautiful son who happens to have a brain injury, adhd and autism. I have many friends on the autism spectrum, and/or with adhd or other neurodivergent diagnoses. Several diagnosed as adults, often after their kids were diagnosed. I also have switched careers and now work with people who have serious and persistent mental illness and I'm here to say, there are many more things we all have in common than wr have differences. I'm 60 in a day and life has been an adventure. It's awesome you are so young and have this knowledge about yourself so you can shape your life using your strenghs and giving yourself grace when needed. Your platform will help others too!
My husband wasn't diagnosed until his late 20s. His family didn't believe in mental health issues and we figured it out when we started dating and got married. The medicine has changed his life completely. And it explained soooooo much when we finally had a diagnosis.
Im 47, and was diagnosed 40 years ago with ADHD. Back then none of the teachers had ever heard of it. I remember the teachers making me sit in the hallways, by myself when I couldn't finish my assignments. Now things are much easier, but I still struggle with things that others would see as "easy". I am so happy to see you caring for yourself!!! ❤❤❤
There are so many helpful meds that can calm you and definitely help you focus. My granddaughter feels that what she has and is looking forward to getting under control. She’s very intelligent and 27, and I’m hoping she gets what she needs as well as you Romee.😊❤
I had the same issues as you and I was diagnosed at 50 after I had cancer and after I went into menopause because of the cancer. It’s so hard and the masking and coping we learned just disappears when we’re so exhausted and overwhelmed by our health issues
Sending Prayers and best wishes your way❤ i don't wanna self diagnose but i also think i have adhd maybe ocd and itgot a bit worse when i got diagnosed with glaucoma and moved out, luckly i think it is getting better now. You are not alone❤
I'm 57. Not formally diagnosed as it can take up to 5 years in England. Now I understand myself and my quirks. It all makes sense. I now don't care if it doesn't make sense to others. I don't think of it as a curse. I am resourceful, great in a crisis, etc. I have a good job that I've had for 35 years (30 years for my current employer) it is a vocation that involves problem solving all day every day. Suits me fine. I've now learnt not to eat carbs when I've got a difficult task to deliver. If i give in and eat carbs for lunch, I get terrible brain fog and start getting distracted. I live with 5 dogs instead of people. They don't care about my quirks. ❤ Romee - keep your head up and be proud to be different. ❤
It's such a weight off your shoulders to finally get a diagnosis. I hope that this will show you just how strong of a person you really are. All my diagnoses that I have gotten over the years have shown me how strong I am.
Both of my daughters, now 21 and 25 were diagnosed with ADD/ADHD in the last 3 years. They both masked their symptoms as children/teens. They did well in school but that's not say there weren't struggles at times. Both are on ADD meds by choice and also go to therapy for a variety of things. My younger daughter is a senior in college and her meds/therapy have really helped her focus. Older daughter is an illustrator/author and still experiences struggles but to her, they're manageable. All the best to you Romee! 🧡
36, female, doctor, with NARCOLEPSY diagnosed with ADD at 29 in my LAST YEAR OF MEDICAL SCHOOL after 11 years in college and 4 years of complete isolation, crushing fear of failure, and imposter syndrome. A lot of women don’t get diagnosed young because it tends to present as high anxiety, putting pressure on yourself, and high stress/anxiety in women and it’s very frequently misdiagnosed and mistreated. Boys/men are more often diagnosed young because they are more likely to have the impulsivity and hyperactive component which is more easily noticeable. You don’t need to label yourself. You are not a woman with adhd/add, you are Romee and if it’s relevant for anyone to know, you live with/have adhd/add. You are not defined by a diagnosis. You clearly aren’t letting anything hold you back so don’t let the diagnosis hold you back either. Nothing has changed except your knowledge and ability to better cope with what you have been diagnosed with. You’re still killing it at life girl!! You’re a rockstar!

I’m also in that club! I was diagnosed with ADHD and autism this year at 74 years of age. I always knew I was different, had terrible struggles in school, was very anxious at an early age, found it hard to concentrate unless it was a topic I was passionate about, which then became an obsession, causing me to over focus and spend my time researching and driving myself and those around me crazy wanting to only talk about my special interests. I was only diagnosed because my 47 year old daughter was diagnosed before me, and I completely saw myself in her, which led me to go for a diagnosis. Romee, I hope you feel the relief that I felt on finding out, but it’s also hard looking back on would could have been different had I known decades ago. Fortunately for you, you are still young and there are so much more resources and help for later diagnosed adult women, in particular. Good luck with your journey. You are a lovely, strong and brave woman.
Hi Romee, I’m proud you came up for yourself and try to be kinder. It is amazing you also see the positive parts. After 1 a 2 misdiagnosed, I finally learned after years that I have c-ptsd which makes so much sense. It was the first diagnosis I recognized myself in. The 2 before that never felt they fit and they indeed didn’t.
I got diagnosed with ADD earlier this year at the age of 29... I feel you! Because of my diagnosis my best friend got tested herself, because she could really relate with my struggles and had them herself. Just last week she got diagnosed with ADHD and autism at the same time. Rooting for you! So nice for people who have it to speak out and potentially help other people with that journey :)
You are not dumb. Your brain is wired differently. It is great that you feel you can openly talk about it. It will help others in the same situation. The best thing of all you are getting the help you need.
get tested for PTSD as well some of my patients that survived cancer treatments developed a form of medical ptsd. i'm a retired medical assistant/phlebotomist/in home health aide.
Something you said instantly made me think Dyslexia, which I was diagnosed with in lower primary (grade 3). My great aunt (GA) picked it up, she was a school principal. Fortunately my school principal as a good friend with my GA. So she immediately took me under her wing giving me extra reading sessions in her Office, during school hours. Of course I was teased over it. Finally a special class was started up for those with learning difficulties. I was lucky, I ended up achieving a lot in my lifetime, that many people would never believe.
My son and I have it too. My generation wasn't tested so I wasn't diagnosed until I wasin my 40s. The best thing I have ever done for my sin was get him diagnosed so he could be treated. He tells me he thinks so much clearer now. I can't take the medicine due to it making my blood pressure really high. As you get older ADHD can really make you have foggy thinking. It sure wasn't like this when I was younger. You are truly not alone with this.
Romee I'm 42 and I got diagnosed with add in high school but wasn't put on medication smh and I did not graduate high school. I just got tested again which mine only took 20 minutes lol and now I'm on medication. It has changed my life!! I wish too that I would've been put on medication then my life would've been so different! It has truly opened my eyes and explains so much!
Love spending time with you Romee. It is great that you are in tune with your self now and taking steps to be healthier. My son was 5 when he was diagnosed with ADD/OCD I was so sad and scared about what his life would look like. However he is a fabulous 31yr old young man married with 2 girls that are 2.5 yrs and 24 months. His oldest definitely has something going on as well and him and his wife are kinda worried about her. I on the other hand witnessed from birth all of our sons issues and I look at the hard working, kind, loving, caring, honest husband and father he is and I have no worries for our granddaughter. She like you will be a wonderful young woman. All the best to you and your bright future ❤Kris 🇨🇦 🍁
I was convinced I was highly functioning autistic but my psychiatrist said I am what is considered HSP which is a Highly Sensitive Person. Was also diagnosed OCD recently at age 50. My mind drives my crazy. I’m happy you’re getting the help you need while you’re young.
ADHD without the hyperactive part is not a disease. We are just not neurotypical. Congratulations and welcome to the club. I would not want to be a normie they have their own issues. There are plenty of TH-cam videos to help ADHD people cope with a neurotypical world.
I'm 33 and have had adhd since I was around 12 years old. It suuuuucks not being able to control it in the emotional aspect. I choose not to be medicated at this point in life but sometimes (most of the time) I wish I was. You're not alone!
Romee, I suffer from Asperger's Syndrome and I was diagnosed late too as an adult. This problem which I had since birth did not exist when I was a child. None of the people in my family nor the teachers nor teachers at school knew what I had. They knew that my behavior was different than the other kids in my class. I struggled in Elementary, Intermediate, and High School where I failed tests very badly because I could not relate to the teachers very well since my attention span was not good and I would misread questions a lot. I always had to ask my parents for help with my homework and I could not write essays at all nor had a clue how they should be written. I did not fit in with the kids in my class due to me having Asperger's Syndrome.
Wow! What you are talking about is how I’ve felt for years. I’ve always felt off, never diagnosed, but never feeling 100% confident. When I confided in 2 friends….one said well you have coped with it all these years and you’re a creative right brain thinker, followed by…..why do you need to find out? I said because it bothers me and I want to find out how to deal with the areas I need help with. I think my son has it too and he’s in his 30’s. I would like us to be tested but when Romee said they interviewed her parents, mine are both deceased. I would have to go on my memory.
I was diagnosed with adhd at 26 and autism at 28, after I more or less figured it out myself. I’m also kinda Dutch, as in I grew up here and I also happen to be part Indonesian, not related to the diagnoses but it felt like I needed to also share that.
I was just diagnosed with ADHD last week, I am 38. I had problems with my employments all my life. I came to a point right now where I dont know where to go, where I can fit in, what workplace will work for me without being frustrated and wanting to quit after only one month (again)
Sweet Romee I swear you talk8mg about your adhd diagnosis is just like hearing you explain myself. As someone who’s dealt with cancer and chemo treatment I truly believe the trauma from all we had to endure it’s common to be diagnosed with adhd ❤
The era of Romee! Love that you are listening to your instincts and getting answers. As an educator, I can tell you there is a lot that could be better within the education “system.” It’s not about being a “good student.” It’s about teaching in the ways that work for EVERY type of learner. ❤
I was just diagnosed and I'm 24! I struggled so much in high school especially (I'm Australian so that's age 12 - 18). I wish I had been diagnosed back then so that I could have actually studied and concentrated instead of spending every class on my phone. My psychiatrist has trialled me on medication and the difference is astonishing! I thought I was alone with this late diagnosis but a lot of non-adolecents are actually getting diagnosed these days
Romee it's a struggle to get medical care.. Boiling chicken is stewing here. I either use chicken broth over water or stew an entire chicken in water to make broth or stock. I think you did well ❤
I was diagnosed at age 24 with combined adhd. At the time they didnt diagnose two things. Since 2019 I have been thinking I may have autism. So after 4 years, I concluded last year I in fact do have it and my psychiatrist agreed with my assessment. It is very difficult to find an autism specialist and since there isnt anything to take for autism I am ok without formal diagnosis. Self diagnosis is seen here as just as valid. Anyway Im happy to hear you now have answers.
good testing in the Netherlands for these diagnoses. I got recently my master's in clinical psychology there and I also have a suspicion I might have ADHD. I have contemplated many times to go take the test but for some reason I can never bring myself to actually make an appointment.
Welcome to the neurodiversity club 🎉 I have been diagnosed with asd and adhd at 33. And most of my female nd friends got their diagnose in adulthood. It maked my life way more easyer to know these thing about myself
Oh my, I know you feel this diagnosis comes late and all kinds of precious time was lost. (Which is somewhat true my dear.) However I’m 73 and experience tells me you are now at the beginning of yet another exciting chapter and to grab on and run with all you’ve got! You’re a lovely person.
I was also diagnosed as an adult. Like you, I’d spent my life masking and learning splinter skills to cover it up. Except that I didn’t know that I had ADHD and didn’t realize what I was doing to myself. It was through treatment for eating disorder that I was diagnosed.
Romee I am not sure of your new diagnosis. Have you had a thyroid function test as I have an underactive thyroid and the tiredness with that is immense and I have adhd at 62.
After being diagnosed with adhd at 39, I went on medication for the adhd I'd been suffering and struggling from my whole life. Now at 41, I'm finishing a Bachelor's of Education. It's never too late to heal from this, a diagnosis at any age is a blessing.
You're not weird. ADHD is diagnosed SO often these days. Heck, half my friends and family are diagnosed with it. It seems to be exploding, just like autism is. Makes me wonder about over diagnosing. Your title was scary though. "New Diagnosis" made me think it was MUCH worse.
Romee, it must be hard. But you get true it. And remember, you are not youre desise. You are you and there is always therapie. I wish you well. See you on the next.
Definitely a very similar story over here! I'm not diagnosed yet but I only really started to struggle with ADD/ADHD symptoms after years of treatments. I have another diagnosis that made school relatively easy for me (until I got sick and started chemo), which allowed me to be spacey and distracted but still able to finish up the work assigned. As a kid, the symptoms that I showed were put on my other diagnosis or just on me being very forgetful/absent-minded. Lately, I have been compiling what bothers me/has bothered me over the years about who I am -funny that not knowing who I really am/being a chameleon is one of them- and how I function. All the comments from friends who have ADHD/ADD telling me I likely have one of the two, which I never believed because I didn't struggle in school pre-chemo, have started to make sense. I am starting med school next year and hoping to get the help I need
Hey Romee, ik werd enkele maanden geleden gediagnosticeerd, en heb ook geweend van geluk, dus ik versta je volledig! Ben benieuwd welke tips en advies je zal meekrijgen om ermee om te gaan.
I was diagnosed with aspergers in 04 & adhd in early 2010s. It controls my life so much. I'm about to change that by starting to take 0.3mg melatonin pills because my concentration has been murdered despite taking stimulants because I've ignored the sleep factor for 15 years. Thank you for telling me this pretty. I read astrology & i always wondered why you aren't showing the high energy from having uranus square (90° from) the sun. Of course taurus are notoriously private & hard to read which explains that. High eccentricity to a taurus counts as 'losing control & changes' which taurus don't like. I definitely feel like i don't fit in in most crowds. It's different for you tho you've jupiter & moon in aquarius this means you benefit from belonging to groups. I don't have it I'm more selfish so I don't get affected by ppl not approving of me for me not being either biased enough or neutral enough to fit in with their group or bubble. But yeah I'm happy for you that you've learned something very important that'll help you gain back that essential control that taurus is all about. You have a heavy earth chart this makes you extremely practical & focused om how things are over how things could be. I only have one taurus position yet I've been called stubborn. I also have a earth heavy chart. We're 'old fashioned' lol. I'm happy to hear your cancer situation has improved. Who knows i have family in the Netherlands maybe by chance we bump into each other say hi. Thanks for featuring food so much in your videos. Very pure taurus of you. Before i end i just wanna say this bc i dont know if I've said it to you i always say it to ppl who have a visible taurus look. You look like you belong in a candy commercial. Like you're hungry. Very lovely. I look forward to starting to take these lower doses melatonin bc the dr woman on yt said commonly available 3 to higher mg tablets in pharmacies are too strong & can ruin the day night circadian rhythm again. Stay beautiful!
I’m a 64 yr old Grandmother of 10 who has several Grandkids with ADHD. I’m not sure I agree with putting a label on everyone who does not swim upstream with others. Our world is made with different personalities which is why we are human. If you find peace in the fact that you might be different then the mainstream population please know it’s not a negative. I think you’re blessed to have knowledge, be different, have limitless opportunities than others due to your life challenges and experiences.
My friend is one of the best musicians in the history of studio and rock band musicians. She is superb. When we were in our 40’s she had overcome a serious drug and alcohol problem. She struggled in several areas. Finally, she had a GP who sent her for testing, and it turned out she had severe ADD and ADHD. Historically, these things were not diagnosed in females. It turns out she felt much like you did most of her life. She most definitely did have an addiction, but she was told that it was NOT uncommon for people to self-medicate. (Not that you do that) but her past behaviors made more sense. As I said, she was in her 40’s!
I'm 36, and while I haven't been diagnosed, I do suspect I might have ADHD. My daughter has it, and while researching it, everything I heard and read sounded very familiar. I think having kids was my tipping point. I could handle my own life just fine, but being responsible for two more people and their things and their schedules is a lot more work.
My daughter's had ADHD from age 6 she was never calm like you are. My daughter could not sit still our Focus for more than 10 minutes at a time which led to Violent outburst
Recognizable what you say. But I have that with autism. I haven't had that checked yet because I'm turning 40 next year. And somewhere I think: Do I want to know? I already have so much that is different. I don't know if I can handle it. On the other hand, it can also provide peace of mind. It's still very ambiguous for me.
Many years ago there were Doctors at our health unit who would go into schools and do ADD/ADHD assessments. As a Public Health nurse (BScN with distinction) I was allowed to sit in during a couple of the assessments. I found myself miserably failing! I think if one is smart & gets good marks they are overlooked. I never went on the meds or got myself an official diagnosis, but I have found this interesting.
I have diagnosed OCD and willing to bet I also have ADHD. My family calls me Squirrel because like the joke - I will be doing something and get distracted so easily and lose focus. At the same time I obsess about the stupidest shit sometimes and I get annoyed. Like someone else said, women seemed to be overlooked for a long time but more and more women are being diagnosed.
Romee I must have those jeans your wearing, they are beautiful. Where did you get them? Yes, please do another video explaining your symptoms as i believe it will be very helpful.😊 🇨🇦🙏

My nephew says I’m totally ADHD, I was shocked and then I read about it and could see myself in a lot of what I read, LOL Also I had no idea you were part Indonesian, I think that’s super cool! Now I want to look back and find a video with you and your Mother, LOL
Oh so I found one of your old videos where you were backpacking with your parents, your parents seem so wonderful! Thank you for bringing us on our fun life adventures! I think you’re awesome!
Romee I know a few adults that went through their childhood struggling and have only just found out they have it. Reason being their kids have now been diagnosed along with autism thats why they asked to be tested and found they did have it too, now it.made alot of sense to them looking back. I don't think they tested for this years ago its only now it ls being looked into more, really bad.
Hi Romee, I’m 69 and always knew I was different, very slow learner to the point where one of the nuns (Catholic) when I was in the 2nd grade told my mom I was “dumb” that was about 1962. I believe dumb was another word for mentally retarded at that time, so you can imagine I loved school but just could not pass a grade above D except in art. Just the past few year’s since people have came out with diagnosis as an adult for ADHD and also being on the autistic spectrum. I have not been formally diagnosed because this pretty much answered all my questions I’ve had for years and don’t really want to go through tests now. I did take the autism test at home and came out in the middle. I never learned how to mask I have always just been myself which makes sense about my inability to get along socially. I always kind of liked the thought that I was different in thought than most. My Psych. Dr. Just told me my brain is wired differently. I worked 40 years at an HMO and retired without problem, so from what I understand I guess I am high functioning, not so much now since retiring.. Now I love being a artist. Your in great hands it sounds like, I’m sure they will give you the tools to help your area’s of need. Take care Romee 🌹💕
Dont feel bad about being Diagnosed at 26. I sm 68 and i truly think I have ADHD . I haven't been diagnosed but pretty sure I am correct. Take care Romee
Celebrate your ADHD ! And do not be defined by it. Your brain just works a bit different from most people but it also means you have super powers. Girls are so good at masking, you have done amazingly well despite your ADHD. You are exceptional. My granddaughter Isa is 20 and studying to be a nurse…… she struggled in school but at Uni she was tested for dyslexia and now she has a proper diagnoses. A lot of things suddenly make sense to her and us. Your soup sounds delicious…..whenever I visit Hilversum ( I live in UK) I come back with Conimex sachets to make Nasi or Bambi…..I love it. I had no idea you had Indonesian family genes, more to be proud of. Never been to Indonesia myself, too old to travel there at 79? I love your flog, keep it up.
I never liked school. I was practical first then theory. And school thought theory first which totally confused me. As I got into my 20s I learnt the ways that worked for me. Then. I worked out what I wanted to do. I was also study through my work. And build my career x
It's not weird to be diagnosed at age 26. My husband was diagnosed in his early 30s. I knew he had ADHD from our first date and it wasn't affecting his personal or professional life at the time until he hit his 30s. He was on meds until recently (it was causing problems for his liver). Our three youngest (we have four kids) were diagnosed with ADHD at the end of their kindergarten year.
Our son is the same age as you and he has also done so many tests to find the right diagnose. He is not finish. They think he has more than one diagnose. They are think abouth ADh or ADD or Asberger and other diagnoses. He has had therapy in many years. He told me yesterday that one he also goes to and he also try to find his diagnos. He wants to talk to me. I wish you all the best. I am Norwegian so excuse me grammer and spelling😀
Oh my god ik wist niet dat je Indo was ?? Me too! :D (van mijn vaders kant). Soto Ayam (je sprak het goed uit!) is zo lekker. Mijn vader maakt het ook altijd, heerlijk met gepluisde kip.
I was diagnosed with adhd around 34 years old and suddenly, my entire life made sense. I always got in trouble at school. Romee --- I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 56 years old. After finally managing it, my life is so much better!
hi, 58 here and self diagnosed - what are you doing differently now ? may i ask
I was also in my 50’s when I was diagnosed - game changer!
50 here for me
I'm 51 and I'm pretty sure I'm ADHD inattentive type. I see alot of people in their 50s getting diagnosed . I think our generation was overlooked when young...we basically raised ourselves. I don't plan on getting an official diagnosis, I've made it this far and it's who I am. :)
@@MydNyteRayne I take medication that helps me immensely and I wouldn’t have been able to get it without a diagnosis unfortunately.

Welcome to the club where you mask until you can’t. Nothing changes it just makes more sense😊
High five!
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 30. I hope your providers are also supportive of the range of mental health experiences you may have. You have been a warrior for years so it would be understandable if you are processing trauma. Sending you love and grace as you focus on healing your mental health.
Romee you are not alone. Women were neglected in this diagnosis for generations. Forget the label! Just imagine how limitless you are now!
true but one of the principal reasons is because of the different symptoms between males and females.
i havent watched the video yet but if this is her new diagnosis then that explains why i love her so much. neurodivergence is my thing.
@@louern123 because diagnostic criteria is modeled on the male brain, ergo, women have been neglected
@@Alskdoenfkemfnek the criteria were modelled on the male brain because women mask much more
I got scared when I read the title. Please don't use titles like this one.
Oh she does it on purpose
jenimar I can understand it being scary, but it was a new diagnosis.
@ericaaubie860 Yes, I get that. It's misleading because the people who follow her journey from the beginning might think the cancer came back and, like myself, worry for her.
It’s still. New diagnosis she didn’t lie stop gaslighting her . She did nothing wrong everything doesn’t have to be cancer related.
But then it wouldn't be a new diagnosis..
Romee, I got diagnosed at the age of 50🎉 I was struggling with the diagnosis for a while but now I think it’s a superpower! 💪🏼
My family is the same. I think I have autism and am hypersensitive🤷♀️ maybe one day I'll go for a diagnosis too
Im 47, and was diagnosed 40 years ago with ADHD.
Romee - keep your head up and be proud to be different.
Are you sure they masked them or did you just not know the warning signs …
Looks like poor people food.

Hi Romee,
I’m proud you came up for yourself and try to be kinder. It is amazing you also see the positive parts.
After 1 a 2 misdiagnosed, I finally learned after years that I have c-ptsd which makes so much sense. It was the first diagnosis I recognized myself in. The 2 before that never felt they fit and they indeed didn’t.
Cancer gone. So now we have another diagnosis to follow her about that will go on and on like today. Oh Romee you’re smart. 😂
You are going to do really well. You are awesome, Romee❤❤❤
Welcome to the club Romee!! You're in for a ride - if you need advice, we're here
I was just diagnosed and I'm 24!
I think you did well ❤
You are definitely not alone Girl in this!!!
Welcome to the neurodiversity club 🎉
I have been diagnosed with asd and adhd at 33. And most of my female nd friends got their diagnose in adulthood. It maked my life way more easyer to know these thing about myself
so glad you are still around
Oh my, I know you feel this diagnosis comes late and all kinds of precious time was lost. (Which is somewhat true my dear.) However I’m 73 and experience tells me you are now at the beginning of yet another exciting chapter and to grab on and run with all you’ve got! You’re a lovely person.
I was also diagnosed as an adult. Like you, I’d spent my life masking and learning splinter skills to cover it up. Except that I didn’t know that I had ADHD and didn’t realize what I was doing to myself. It was through treatment for eating disorder that I was diagnosed.
What you used for garnish is called, bean sprouts, here. I love them in Chinese fried rice! The texture!
I am happy for you that you finally have a diagnosis and can get the help you need :)
You seem stronge mentally. ❤
Please don’t clickbait illness. Some of us care and this title scared me so bad as I am facing my second battle with cancer now.
How are you doing, love?
U should try ayurvedic medicine u will fine or try fasting 1 day in a week or 1 day eat one not this pattern repeat.
I was diagnosed with add three years ago at my 37th. Now I'm waiting for the results of my autismresearch.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
I got diagnosed with ADHD at 35, dyslexia at 36, and autism at 37 years old. Would definitely be useful to know that decades ago lol
I was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder in my mid 30’s. So I feel you!
Hey there beautiful young lady! Always great seeing how well you're doing.
You've joined the club!
WELCOME
I have diagnosed OCD and willing to bet I also have ADHD. My family calls me Squirrel because like the joke - I will be doing something and get distracted so easily and lose focus. At the same time I obsess about the stupidest shit sometimes and I get annoyed. Like someone else said, women seemed to be overlooked for a long time but more and more women are being diagnosed.
Romee
I must have those jeans your wearing, they are beautiful. Where did you get them?
Yes, please do another video explaining your symptoms as i believe it will be very helpful.😊 🇨🇦🙏
❤ Proud of you!!
Already talking about keeping us hanging on for another video til we get more info. Oh Romee I’m on to you girl 😂
Don’t use clickbait’s when you talking about your health. With your history -it’s not funny.
Thanks for watching! And for listening (again). It's actually SHOCKING to hear so many of you having a late diagnosis of ADD/ADHD or any other neurodivergence as well.. thank you for sharing everybody

My nephew says I’m totally ADHD, I was shocked and then I read about it and could see myself in a lot of what I read, LOL
Also I had no idea you were part Indonesian, I think that’s super cool! Now I want to look back and find a video with you and your Mother, LOL
Oh so I found one of your old videos where you were backpacking with your parents, your parents seem so wonderful! Thank you for bringing us on our fun life adventures! I think you’re awesome!
Someone else who doesn't like celery!! 🙌
Thanks so much for sharing. I am recovering from cancer, and also believe I have ADHD.
Omg Soto Ayam is THE BEST!!!! I’m also Dutch and Indonesian! ❤️🙌😀 my grandma is Indonesian (born in Suka Bumi) and my mom was born in Eindhoven! :)
Dont feel bad about being Diagnosed at 26. I sm 68 and i truly think I have ADHD . I haven't been diagnosed but pretty sure I am correct. Take care Romee
More click bait as per usual
BOY am I happy to hear of this new diagnosis…You would have to read my last comment to understand my relief 😅 Anywho, all is well and soup it is 😊
I didn’t get diagnosed until 45!
I love bean sprouts!! Looks yummy!
Your garnish is called bean sprouts in English.
My 13 year old daughter has ADHD she is on medication and does therapy I hope you find tools that help you ❤😊
Most creative people have ADHD , it’s why traditional school doesn’t come easy but they can be highly successful when finding their strengths.
Thanks for the update.
