I really liked the LED clear motion testing on some movies. It really separates the frames (24fps) so you don't get motion blurring from the screen. Only motion blur is from the original filming. I turned it off though, it cuts the brightness in half essentially. Too bad you can't run a tv at 24hz
I have been having HUGE issues while watching 4K UHD discs. I get ghosting, or I guess frame retention as it seems to be known as. It has been an issue I can't figure out. I just end up selling my $K UHD purchases as it is beyond annoying and feels like I'm watching a hi-def VHS tape. I'll try these suggestions. But do you have any recommendations or fixes, other than the LED clear motion testing?
@@SimonMordue I wonder if your issues could be the player? I had to mess around with a lot of settings in my 4k player to get everything to play nicely. Možda smo i zemljaci.
Hi bro can you calibrate
au9000 55?
Your calibration used calibration tools?
Hey, sorry for really late reply - same tips apply on AU9000. I use CalMAN 2021, C6 colorimeter and Murideo Fresco SIX-G pattern generator.
Do you know how to setup a wallpaper or screen saver? I have an AU8000 but it doesn't have the ambient mode. without using external devices or youtube app. A real wallpaper or screen saver.
Sdr or HDR?
Buddy why there is grey patch on bottom of the screen when screen was completely white
How do I put the tv in 4k
Hi can you please tell the difference between entertain mode and graphic mode? These are the only picture settings I get when using my pc.
Hey - Graphic is more color accurate and is my recommendation.
@@TVguyDarko so in the long run it won't affect the backlight of my tv or any of the sort! Like the dynamic mode do?
Hi Darko, I just bought a new Samsung UE50BU8072UXXH, which is a successor from the AU8000 series. Did you test that one, and does the advice you gave here apply to mine as well?
Hello Ivan, that exact model I’m planning to review next. Until now, you can use tips from this video.
@@TVguyDarko When do you expect to release that review?
@@TVguyDarko any news on this?Have a wonderful day!
@@TVguyDarko also have BU8000 series and awaiting your guidance with this one, any update on when this will be ready? Thanks!
AU7002 setting color ? Please
If. Buy your files , how do I use the test patterns and other info. Do I need to use a computer ?? Thanks
Hey Jaime - yes, for some of them you will need to use test patterns. You will need to use computer just to copy test patterns to a USB or burn them to a disc.
Hi, thanks for this video it really helped. I just picked up an au9000 and in the expert setting certain things such as gamma can't be changed as it is saying function is not available. Any idea why this might be?... It is the same with picture size settings?
Hey, thanks for watching and thanks for your comment! It is normal that for some inputs certain options are not available, like Gamma or picture format. You just focus on other controls that are available and enjoy the content :)
Au8000 how to activate or use 3D mode??
Is there 3D mode in this au8000??
Can the TV go up to 120hz on a ps5
I don’t have filmmaker mode
Which exact TV model do you have?
I got the au9070 - and I’m stuck with 16:9 aspect ratio. How do I change this in settings. I see it’s greyed out and says “function not available”
If option is greyed out that means that on the input device you need to adjust the format of the signal.
@@TVguyDarko Could you let me know how to do that?
Yo can u tell how to get the background
I had to check what year this was uploaded after seeing an original phat PS3 on the shelf.
Yup - I’m still keeping it because of PS Move :)
Do you have any information on samsung bu8000
Yes, I’m testing it right now. Very similar settings and options. I will publish a video next week, but till then use default Movie mode.
Hi Darko, thanks for this video ! I have a question…,i can’t change the file format to adjust picture to screen in the menu . This option is greyed and i can’t change … any ideas ? Thanks for help
Hey Lau! Thanks for watching! That's perfectly normal that screen format option is not available for certain sources. If that happens don't worry, everything is fine with your TV.
Hi, i have got the AU7170. Can you share the colour space settings?
I have a Samsung DM48E and I don’t have General in my settings options rather system and can’t locate anything
Hey Ivan - your model is for digital signage so for sure it's got different options. I've never tested TVs from that product line so I cannot be of more help. Do you have different picture presets to choose from?
Hello, I have a PlayStation 3 console. When I connect it to my TV, au7000, and I enter the games, the graphics are very bad, as if I play with 240p, a lot of pixels are blurred, please help
Hello - I suppose you are using HDMI cable? Go to the settings of PS3 and see which output resolution is set - could be that console is outputting 576p.
Just get a PS5
Why tf are you playing a 240p console on a 2160p tv? Just get a next gen console
I am not able to make netflix full screen & my fit to screen options is not able to choose even though aspect ratio is 16:9
