I’ve taken chipping/pitching lessons but have learned more watching Adam teach other people. If I do EVERYTHING which he teaches, I smoke it. Weight on your left side? It’s a must! Some people can get bye doing it wrong, self taught and can survive. I’ll be listening to Adam. CHEERS bro 👊

Self analysis time, here… it’s two months that I really struggle with my short game, really bad.
My hcp dropped two shots from 7 to 9, and everything was kind of falling down, because those issues (but I should call them yips…) started to put too much pressure on my putting, on my approaching and long irons… then I discovered these videos and in the last couple of days I killed myself with tons of them… and today I finally had my ah, ah moment, when the whole picture was clear again: narrow stance, ball forward or back, handle a little forward, elbow connected and one, two…
As simple as that: I couldn’t go to the course, so I took out my practice net and I started practicing down my corridor: holed 13 out of 15 chips and goodnight.
I can’t wait to get back kicking asses, next week…

You’re an excellent golf instructor! Love the way you simply explain how the body parts move the club and why it works with each club! You’re born to do this! I thank you very much! 👏😍

Can’t wait to incorporate. I also marvel at how quickly you diagnose the client’s swing issue ( not just the slower chip swing, but also iron/driver ) and then explain to the viewer and add little tips. Added bonus is your energy, personality, humor…….all the while noticing your surrounds such as a bike with a golf club kick stand or the noise of the green below “someone just lost a few dollars” on a putt. By bringing us along it makes watching so much more enjoyable ( in addition to the excellent golf content!)

So glad the wrist hinge question was asked and covered completely here because I know two things go wrong for myself weight falling back on downswing and probably too much wrist action. Can’t wait to go practice these thoughts especially the right hand grip more on top…thanks

Really another big advantage of keeping elbows together that you don't mention is maintenance of the radius of the swing arc . If elbows separate or fold in the backswing, you shorten the radius of the swing arc causing tops and thins or possibly fat shots as you try to recover.

*GOLD GOLD GOLD marry those tips. IMHO awareness of your CG around the neck allows the left hip bump to hold that angle in shoulder rotation, letting the handle swing work properly. Tighter rotation through impact brings the handle closer to the left hip pocket for a more precise gauge of the spin on the ball. As Tiger says all the time you got to have speed to work the ball.*

When you are keep your elbows together.. You do the giving blood on your trail arm. Are you doing elbow forward supination at all with your lead arm as well or are you leaving that elbow facing the target?
Tried finding a more detailed video.

I’m going to save my pennies and do what you said and go get fitted for a set of wedges. I don’t have the length anymore so if I want to keep up with my buddies and got to get better with my short game.

The cameramen needs to focus in on the 'ball position', we cannot determine the ball position when he/she standing 20 feet away recording this session.
