There’s just something magical about drone footage, isn’t there?! It gives a perspective one can’t get any other way, showing how lush and colorful your garden is - what an inspiration! 💚

Yes, I enjoyed this drone tour! I have already watched all ten detailed tours and am going to watch them again to make a list of seeds to order for next year! Your landscape is my dream! Also, from the drone the okra looks like trees!🤣

OMG Jim, I couldn't see the vision before, at ground-level anyway (my own visual limitations), but everything looks so GREAT! That yard is packed. Thanks for the drone shots...brings it to life for us.. Cheers

Ohhh I can’t wait for the dry shade garden videos!! This is majority of my flower gardens as they are under super established trees and have no idea what to put in to get more colour and pollinators in there especially in the summer months

The only reason that it hasn't happened already is material cost. They need to come down some. Lumber is out of control. Thanks for following along!!

Good drone footage to let us see it all. It's so amazing to realize how much you have done in this short amount of time. It will be fun to see the winter annuals freshly planted, especially because they will be small in the beginning, allowing us to notice the evergreen plantings.

Weird. I am just south of you, and my Dahlias are doing the same. I am looking forward to see how you develop the dry shade garden. I have an area that is my pollinator garden. The back half of it is shaded, so the only thing that I have planted back there is Purple Heart, Hostas and several shade loving dwarf hydrangeas. The trees behind all of it are Leland Cypresses. I strongly dislike those trees in subdivisions. I feel like Leland cypresses belong out in the country to border a large piece of property or something like that. Anyway, that’s my dilemma, so your future tips would be so helpful.

Hi Jim, beautiful space. I have a dilemma regarding my perennial raised bed. Just behind it is my neighbor’s huge maple tree. Every year I have to dig up the soil in my garden and hand remove all the fibrous roots that have come over absorbing all my good compost, water and fertilizer. This year must have been real hungry because my plants were stunted and annuals did not grow. I collected 5 buckets of roots from only 1/4 of the bed. I read about root barriers but I can not find anyone, landscapers, to trench so I can install them. Any suggestions? Love your tours!
