Just replaced mine - thank you once again for the video Adrian - I knew exactly what to look for. All it cost me was £10 for the set of rings and about 30 minutes of my time. My rear rings were both missing and the front two were worn. For a novice like me it is also very satisfying to be able to carry out a job like this rather than send the car to a garage - I always used to when much younger and when cars were simpler but the complexity now puts me off. In case it helps others: I was working on a Grand C4 Picasso series 2: I found it easier to take the screws out of the bottom air intake tube where it joined onto the front of the car and remove the whole section. I needed a T25 rather than a T20 On my car the air box is further under the bodywork so the 3 screws were harder to get to. I didn't have a 90 degrees tool to unscrew the top of the air box but, after taking off the various tubes, I was able to bring it forward enough to get a straight down screw driver down to unscrew and replace.
Thank you for making this video. I completed the replacement on my 1.6 Peugeot 208. It took me 30 mins and was easy to do. I did need to use a T25 Torx screwdriver.
Thank you so much for making this video! I replaced my used pads (2 of them in the back want even there) and my car is way more quiet and vibrations are significkly lower, before changing them i fell those vibrations under my feet now it’s gone. Cables were scratched and thanks god i found your video because i would never know that i need to change 4 small gum pads to make my car more comfortable and prevent my car from more dangerous situations. Thank you.
Very good video with detailed instruction. When the severity of the vibrations increases, you should check whether the engine is running properly. The cause of extra heavy vibration should be addressed and fixed.
Thanks just did this today your video made it much easier for me, I had to remove the air intake assembly from the front just undo two 10mm nuts it's much easier that way, when i did everything and started the car it showed engine error so I did service reset by starting ignition three times without starting engine and then start engine and rev 2000rpm for few seconds and the error has gone. Car drives without the annoying tractor sound it's so much quiter now, it took 30min to do it all, the rear rubber was completely gone on mine. I purchased them from eBay. I also noticed small leak like you so I might order the seals for that too.

Bravo à vous
Hi Adrian, thank you so much for your video. For some time now, after having replaced the air filter, I have noticed that inside the passenger compartment, accelerating up to 1.1 - 1.2 rpm, a vibration-like noise is heard which disappears when it reaches 1.4 rpm. I checked that the front filter box support rubbers are still and I haven't noticed any particular movements. Could this vibration be caused by the mounting rubbers under and behind the filter housing? Thank you so much
@@AdrianDragan Amazing vid! Thank you so much. What are the.... " tires that are mounted behind the casing".... that you mention? Do you have a pic or a vid? I just don't understand what you are referring to when you say 'tires'?

Salut. Multumesc pentru recomandare. Momentan nu am nicio problema cu acea improvizație. Dar m-am gândit și eu sa schimb capacul, totusi la mine va fi necesara și înlocuirea acelui furtun ce se conecteaza la tubul capacului.
Hey Adrian, first, cheers on the video! Just did the replacement preemptively, following your guide. But, in the process, I broke off the vacuum pipe on the filter body, I noticed yours is missing too. I glued mine for the time being but eventually want to buy a new body and put it as it should be. My question is - how do you remove that damn hose from the pipe without damage? :) I was unable to figure it out even after the 'incident.
Hello. I bought this car with that pipe already broken, so I can't tell you exactly how to remove it, theoretically you press the fixing clips and it should come out, but in practice it kind of breaks. You can improvise with a small hose tube to put it as you see in my video.
would you know the measurements of the tube you inserted into the vacuum pipe? I tried to find one similar but they are all too big. What material is the tube you inserted?
Hello. If the model of the air filter housing is the same on your car, they probably have the same code. It would be best to go to an auto parts store to identify the exact reference.
Very nice video) How is your oil leaks? Maybe you will make video about turbo gasket change? Mine looks the same as yours, and air filter started to rattle also 🙂
Hello. For the moment, there are no more oil leaks at the turbo, but I will order a gasket for that connection of the plastic tube with the turbine. The ring, it must have the dimensions 60x50x5mm: outer 60 mm, inner 50 mm, rubber ring thickness: 5 mm: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DlgxLy9
@@GrooveMushroom Hello. I did not find that ring in the Peugeot spare parts catalog. But I found something on Aliexpress, I haven't tested it yet. The ring, it must have the dimensions 60x50x5mm: outer 60 mm, inner 50 mm, rubber ring thickness: 5 mm: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DlgxLy9
Hello. In the link is only the sealing ring of the air intake tube on the turbine. I left the code for the round rubber pads for the air filter box: 1623159380. You can buy from your local parts store, but I recommend checking with the store that this code is compatible with your car.
Hi Adrian, Thanks for the post - am aiming to replace my rubber rings this weekend as my airbox clearly isn't attached at the back properly. Out of interest, what was the degreaser you used and is it safe for use on the plastics in the engine bay? I bought some WD-40 Specialist Degreaser a couple of days ago but realised it isn't safe for plastics - frustratingly, when researching it, I ended up on the USA website which has a very similar product suitable for plastics but the UK version isn't. Many thanks
Hello. I have not researched about my dehresant if it is suitable for plastic, but I have used it many times in the last years and have not had any problems. However, if the manufacturer says about your product that it is not suitable for plastic, I would look for another one that goes with plastic. Cheers!
