No matter who is on stage playing with Mr Clapton they always seem to genuinely be enjoying themselves. And he is so cool about letting everybody stretch out and take a lead. What a class act you are Eric.
Paul Carrack, Eric Clapton, Nathan East and Steve Gadd are all amazing at their respective crafts. It kills me when I see completely ignorant comments like this is an AARP CONCERT, by absolutely clueless knuckleheads. What an unbelievable ensemble.
Pay no mind to the troll, he was just looking for some Katy Parry or Justin Bieber music and probably stumbled across this master class in rock and roll and didn't know what to make of it.
They've definitely got a better instrumental sound set up than Joe Cocker, who's set-up was intentionslly sparse and done on the cheap but IMHO Cocker infuses his version with so much more rhythm and blues in his vocals. Clapton's the better guitarist but Cocker's the better vocalist.

in the 60's I bought John Mayall album featuring this guy named Clapton...I became a fanatic fan. I was dreading the draft that summer. I survived 2 years of miraculous stateside duty.
