Nice micro camper. Well done.
Thank you. We've made quite a few tweaks since this video to make it work even better for us.Check out the play list, Tip, fits and Tweaks

😊🐕🚙
I find trays invaluable as they also act as a draining board.
That's also a great idea🙂🐕🚙
What an amazingly well thought out camper, the gap in the bed so you can sit up is a Brilliant idea :)
Thanks so much. Guessing as we go on more stays away, we'll continue to make adjustments to make it work the best for us. The gap makes it easier to dress etc.
Perfect and great videos
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment, it's much appreciated. The installed unit definitely suits us, we've tweaked it a little more to make it even more user friendly. Just got back from another month trip to Shetland, Orkney and NW Scotland. Perfect in the bad weather and the dreaded Scottish Midge! 🙂🐕🚙
The best Windsors. 👌
Thanks, we love it, cause we can do everything inside. A real bonus with our British weather or the Scottish Midge 🙂🐕🚙
This guy really knows his stuff - thankyou Dr Fung
Sorry, above our heads, this one?🤔🐕🚙
That looks a good set up you have going there in such a small space. It’s amazing how we all adapt things differently to suit as time goes on and we become more experienced. I like the little tray tip on top of the worktop, I’m constantly moving different things about separately. ATB, Sue.
Thanks Sue. We're sure we'll keep adapting things too.
Already decided we need to install a table rail onto the kitchen unit to replace the table base supplied, as it isn't that practical in its current form. It's fine for use outside, but not in.
Hope you're keeping well in all senses. ATB. Tina and Bernie x
I have a berlingo too, it's very nice, well done
Thanks. The original units came as a kit, but we keep making small changes to make it work better for us. An going project, as we get to go out and use it more.
Thanks
Wow. Thank you so much Graham. Our first ever "Super Thanks". Pleased you found it helpful. 👍😁🐕🚙
Hi to you both ,i have berlingo van myself, i have made the inside myself, i bough a unit and slide in out boxs put at back end in good weather i can work from outside and in rainy day i can cook inside, i turned my side windows into slide windows so night time i can open little, i enjoy my little berlingo van i spent 8 weeks out and about camping.Meet so many nice folk like yourself,.Thankyou for shareing i enjoyed you tour round your van.Happy days ahead God Bless
Hi Geraldine, pleased you enjoyed the video tour. You van sounds great. We've done 3 weeks tours in our past vehicle and are planning a Scottish tour next spring. You do meet some lovely lije minded people when you're out and about. Like you say happy days ahead. Stay healthy, stay safe.
Thanks for answering my question about the bed cushions. I am thinking of dowm sizing from my caravan. I have the citroen in mind. You set up is the best 👌 I have seen. You really do explain everything so well with lots of practical tips. I hope you get many enjoyable trips away. In your great wee mini camper. Thanks again and I wish you both a very merry Christmas and a happy New year.
Thanks. We're always pleased to help if we can. All the best to you and yours too 🙂🐕🚙
Nice! Particularly impressed by the window storage.
It works for us and those window cupboards are extremely useful storage.
Hello! Thanks for such great videos! How have you managed to put the drivers seat down so flat? I have a feeling my new Berlingo 2019 doesn’t have that feature. Or am I missing a trick?
Hi. Thank you. Think we may have heard that the newer model seats don't go flat. The only thing you could try is to hold the back rest adjuster handle up whilst pushing down on the seat. If it does fold flat, it will click. Hope it does for you.🙂🐕🚙
Thanks so much for your reply! @@the-other-windsors it is remarkable stuff you both are doing! I hope Bernie's health is well. I will definitely give it a go - my berlingo is arriving home on saturday 🙏🏽
@@cherishedmuslimah9789 you're more than welcome 🙂🐕🚙
You are brilliantly helpful thank you.
Thanks. If we find something that helps us, then we're always happy to share 🙂🐕🚙
Hola, que alegría personas con alma y ganas de seguir viviendo libres, y que cuco todo.😘😍👏👏👏👍🐕🐕✌️🇯🇪🏴☠️
Sorry no Spanish. Used a translator. Thank you and we'll do our best to continue to live free. 😀
I love it
Works for us 🙂
Just found your channel & subbed. Great video
Thank you Judith. Pleased you enjoyed the video. We do have other changes to put forward, but need this dreaded rain to stop, before we can get out to the van to film anything.
Great conversion. How much weight did you add. Has the suspension been upgraded.
Hi Chris, thanks for watching. To be honest not actually weighed it. The units are made of lightweight volger (think that's how you spell it) ply and weigh much less than the rear seats we removed. If you were also to add the weight of 3 adult passengers into the mix as well.. It now most certainly weighs less with the conversion, so no suspension upgrade required. 😊🐕🚙
We will be using your tray tip for being able to move all the phone stuff quickly 😁👍
Well thanks, nice to be able to help you for a change, we've picked up so much from you guys over the last months and without your recommendation for the anti slip trays there would be no tip. Lol. Honestly after being holed up in the van for the last four days, due to persistent heavy rain.. That try got moved around a lot. 🌧️😁
How do you charge the leisure battery that runs the sink pump?
Hi. We have a split charger installed by an auto electrician, which charges it via the vehicle alternator 🙂🐕🚙
BRILLIANT !! :-)
Is love it!! Didn't want to come home!
Hiya love you videos . So informative. I just purchased a Citroen Berlingo and I'm torn between the Chapel conversion and the Redcote . I was wondering about condescension and if it's a big problem with the Chapel . I was wondering if the bed boards fit into the storage seat box or they too big . Thank you so much for lovely videos x
Hi Melanie. Thanks for watching. We love our Chapel, cause you can do everything inside, including cooking or having a wash. About condensation. It's obviously more of an issue in the colder months and we've been camped put in temps below zero. If you fit wind deflectors to the cab windows, then crack them open during the night, condensation does firm, but easily wiped away with a micro cloth. We have just recently changed our bed boards again. Check out the vlog called "some wee tweaks" this makes storing them a cinch! 🙂🐕🚙
@@the-other-windsors Hiya , Thank you so much both . Chapel looks wonderful and makes a lot of sense to be able to wash inside etc .
Very grateful for the information and lovely channel I will look forward to watching x
Hi Tina, I also have the double Chapel conversion, can you put a link on for the little heater and micro towels, Thanks Steve.
Hi Steve. This makes a change. It's usually me asking you lol. Here's the link for the heater.
www.argos.co.uk/product/8736637
Afraid we've had the micro towels for years now and we bought them from a shop in Keswick, so we don't have a link for those I'm afraid
Thanks Tina.👌
Great!!!!👏👏
Thank you, it works well for us 🙂
Hello! Thanks for your informative videos! Can you tell me where you got your fan heater from please?
Thanks for watching. The small plug in fan heater was purchased from Argos. Here's the link.

Looking a great set up. What made you make the move from the Amdro to the Chapel? I'm still weighing up what's going to work best with our 18 plate Berlingo. Used to have the Handi awning. It's a good, light, piece of kit. Keep up the good work.
We moved from the Amdro due to having to cook outside. If you want to tour and not use an awning, then either bad weather or midges would be an issue with the Amdro setup. Not used the awning as yet. Done a couple of winter trips now with the Chapel and so far loving it and thanks for the compliment, we'll do our best. 🙂
Very beautiful where did you buy the fanheater ant the carawnig. Greetings Rudy
.
Morning Rudy thanks for watching and your very kind comment, we're pleased you enjoyed watching. We purchased the heater from Argos and the awning from a company called Direct 4x4. We have posted the links below.

Where do you put your potti at night when the bed is made up? I have a single conversion and find the bed is too small so looking at the double but worry about the loo at night!
Hi Victoria. Sorry only just got back from our trip, but think I've answered your question on Facebook. Really hope you find the right setup for you
Hello Tina, Bernie and Blue. As always getting lots of advice and inspiration from you. We have been away twice now in our Chapel Motorhome conversion and still seem to have too much stuff - much more than yourselves and we have a top box and use the awning so have a couple of questions if you dont mind. Firstly, what sleeping bags do you use as they seem to be able to fold down really small. Secondly are your clothes that you show, in vacuum pack bags and if they are what do you use to "suck" them down while you are away. Happy safe travels, Louise & Tony
Hello guys, pleased you're enjoying being away. Our sleeping bags are compressable ones from Go Outdoors. Sorry but they're packed in the passenger bench seat right now, so don't remember the name. They were quite expensive. When we bought them a few years back, they were around the £80 each mark. They're not down, but squash down into the stuff sacks pretty well. How long are you going away for? The longest trip for us so far has been 7 nights, but a 2-3 week trip to Scotland is on the cards. Clothes in the packing cubes, are not vacuum packed, just rolled. You just have to be strict about what to pack and realise that it's not possible to have a complete change of clothes for every day. Last couple of trips, we've had no awning either, just the van. Take out some clothes.. Then take out some more. You'll find a way, it takes time to realise just what is essential and what is not. As long as you have enough pants.. You can work around everything else. Wishing you both happy and safe travels too.
Love the berlingo set up. I've made a boot jump and have 2 small kids we use it as a day camper, use a bucket for a toilet need to get a small porti potti. What Do you use for a fridge? Also a heater if not connected to mains Electric? Keep up with the great videos
Hi. We started with a boot jump and also loved it, but we want to tour for longer periods, so being able to cook inside became important. What with our weather and the dreaded midge! We have a portable 20L Ambicool compressor fridge from Amazon It works from the leisure battery or 240v if on hookup. To be honest, it's such a small space and with two adults and a dog. It's reasonable for us. If not, we simply put the kettle on. On our last trip it was below freezing outside, cool obviously inside, but OK. We may consider a small diesel heater at some point. 🙂
Really like the bed modification you’ve made as storage is an issue for the extra boards and cushions when you don’t have a roof box! Do you find your water has a nasty chemical taste after a few hours? Ours has & it’s definitely caused by either the pump or pipe to the tap so was wondering if yours was the same?
Hi. With regards to the chemical taste in the water.
No we haven't, but we're not using the small blue container that came with the kit.
When we had the Amdro boot jump, we purchased the extra water container from them and we kept hold of it. It's bigger and fits right across the front of the cupboard holding the water and battery. Think it holds about 12 litres, better for longer trips.
Perhaps the chemical taste is coming from the blue water container supplied with the kit.
Maybe, remove it, fill with cold water and leave for a few days if possible. Repeat the process several times if possible. Worth a try.
@@the-other-windsors Thanks - we know it’s definitely not the container as I’ve tried a Ridgemonkey one we use and the water always tastes fine even after a few days but even using that with the pump in we still get the taste. It must be from either the pump or pipe from pump to tap. Have tried flushing with bicarb solution and also puriclean but still the same taste. Interesting to know yours is ok though so I’ll try swapping the pump and pipe and see if that cures it. Thanks for the reply, very useful to know 👍
Sounds like you've definitely ruled out the container then.
Thinking about it we've only used it for boiled water so far and never drawn any directly out of the tap to drink.
Bernie said he'll draw some off, as we have had some water in the container for a couple of days now and it should have had time to loose the excessive chlorine smell we have here in our water.
We'll let you know.
** UPDATE **
Sorry but our water tastes fine. Don't know what to suggest. Like you say, got to be pump to tap.
@@the-other-windsors Thanks for taking the time to test yours - our water still tasted awful even when boiled. I’m actually pleased to know this is obviously something amiss with our set up rather than a problem everyone encounters, so will try a different pump & replace the pipe. Thanks again!
You're welcome. Please let us know if you get it sorted. Perhaps get back in touch with Chapel, we're sure like to know and they even replace the parts for you.
What the name of the electric heater, the little white one? Thanks for your help
Hi thanks for watching. This is the link to the little plug fan heater.

🙂🐕🚙
Wow that's impressive!!! My Kangoo is the same size and mines no where near as nice!
Thanks. It certainly works for us, but we're sure they'll be lots more tweaks to the setup to come. Always looking to improve things.
