Gen 5 is definitely among the greatest generations of all time. You can really feel the love that went into creating these games. Also a fun detail: when you run the music adds extra percussion vs when you're standing still!
This was my first Nuzlocke Gen as well, I would highly recommend either fire red/Leaf Green, or X/Y (if you got them) for your next run as they are the easiest, and let’s you learn things easier!
Another BANGER from Echnox never fails, the editing was phenomenal on this one Serp definitely the goat of this run! I can't say I did not doubt him mulitple times... but his plot armor was too OP. Looking forward to the White 2 run as well!
Cool vid! It’s cool to see you gradually learn how to play a nuzlocke. You started switching based on type advantages, used Dragon Tail to set up a sweep, and used Reflect against Marshal. Even using safe grinding strategies is a point of learning. Great job!
this is the most recent pokemon game i played and i really regret not finishing it, but this video does an awesome job of covering all of the amazing aspects of the game, from the music to the graphics and the story!! i really have got to give this one another chance, as with b/w 2 :D the way you do nuzlockes is also a bit similar to how i imagine i would too... i've never really attempted one because of my want to stick to casual playthroughs but it sounds like a pretty refreshing way to try playing through a game! also, i love your pokemon names... when i heard skitten i was like hold on....... and for the rest of the video i ended up focusing on your nicknames (of which i ended up recognising them all!) hahah i really loved seeing you progress with the pokemon you did. awesome video again!!!!!
Black and white makes me cry every time I play it, I was a freshman when I beat it, even now 1 year after high school, I still cry at every difference in feeling, and how somber the journey is knowing I’ll move away from home someday relatively soon, it’s such a wonderful experience for anybody who genuinely needs a kick in the balls to get back up in adult life as silly as it sounds
Love the way you share the experience of your gameplays (i've come here from watching the digimon dusk vids and suscribing xD). I'm hoping to watch your run on pokemon withe 2 ❤
Just after i defeated the elite four and now i have to battle N.. what level should my team be? Also i hate burgh because in my first run, i lost to him 2 times because I couldn't find a pansear. In this run, i had a pansear named revenge for that very reason.
Surprised there's no Monkey trio fanboys complaining in the comments. They always show up. Anyways why did they make a 3rd fire primate pokemon? It's so much weaker and less charismatic than Infernape and inferior to Darmanitan(introduced in the same gen) in every way.
came here to say the same thing lolol, iirc all moves that force your opponent to switch out have -6 priority, the lowest in the series aside from trick room
If phasing moves weren’t negative priority, then any fast Pokemon could just spam Roar or Whirlwind as the foe’s team got slowly chipped down with Spikes and Stealth Rock. The negative priority prevents this cheese.

Oh my goodness I didn’t notice that :0
I was not built for this

(It is how I learned how to Nuzlocke so much better)
Keep it up

You absolutely need to do more of these, loved this video and would watch more
My childhood.. such a peak game 🔥
I shared your pain when your pokemon died and was like "FUNNY NOOOOO" Got me attached too LOL
Man, I just found your channel and I love your videos so much. Second vid in and already hooked! RIP Rafer :(

This video was unexpectedly good from you
Great run, great editing (and great gd references that were like 70% of the video)

Great video as always, your editing and writing keep getting better!
Also before the “Adler” vs “Alder” comments start coming in… Godspeed my friend
NOOOOOOO why does this always happen

Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Hey man! I really enjoyed this video!
I remember playing Gen 5 for the first time when it came out, my life has never been the same.
great video! it inspired me to start my own Nuzlocke ngl, i really wanna do it for Heartgold!
Sweet, hope you have a good time! I love Heartgold and Soulsilver.
Just a tip shaking grass hold audino in the gen 5 games and they give a lot of experience to help with training
This deserves more views and a sub 😊
You didn’t forget Woofer you just made sure he have a happy life
I feel like b&w 1 are the hardest games of pokemon to nuzlock, its probably imposible to beat them without a single pokemon dying
OMG i had a cat irl named Skeeter, and we called him Skitten as a nickname all the time , this reminded me of him so much
This is your repentance for not getting the funky monkey
Funky monkey would’ve been pretty helpful at the end 😔
13:30 NAMELESS KING MENTIONED 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥
I just bought Pokémon white 3 days ago😂 and I see this TH-cam recommended is wilde
The missed opportunity of calling the Yamask "Funnier"... Awesome video nonetheless, keep it up man uwu
DRAGONSPIRE TOWEL 🗣️ 🔥
21:58 reshiram is hard coded to use fusion flare here no matter what is in the fight
Level caps are optional, just like all of the optional rules.
Dragon tail is negative priorty so the speed did not matter
Gen 5 is wayyy too hard for a first nuzlocke.
U did way better than i thought. 😅
DUDE please do more!
lillipup is a op normal type a shame u never went back for him 😂
I kinda wanna watch u play pokemon conquest

From what I saw online, 52 is the cap for N after the elite 4
How did you not know force switching moves always go last?!?!?!
I’ve been playing since Soulsilver released and I didn’t even know this until now.
I don’t see why you would know that. It’s not exactly an intuitive detail.

Huh, never occurred to me that Darminitan was also a primate… really weird they made 3 haha
Damn
ADLERRRRRR
You’re overleveled
Dragon tail is negative priorty so the speed did not matter
