All good my man. None of us care how you look or look down on you (unless someone out there is being a D bag) I just think the real MJR fans want your videos to keep coming as long as possible, which means we want a healthy, happy, long living MJR 😎.
First, thank you for the video! And one recommendation as someone who did alot of gym training, etc. Exercise is great and we are built to move to be healthy. But the best way to lose weight is diet. I reduced my sugar intake and counted calories. Reduced portions of food I didn't want to give up. It all adds up! Exercise and diet are the best combo. **Rocky montages begins**
I recently burned through the metro games plus the 2 DLC's. I saw it as a reminder of how little some people have yet they are happy because they have each other. That dancing scene was a marriage because they didn't know when their lives would end. Some people aren't as lucky as us yet they keep fighting as long as they have each other. There was a side mission in one of them where if I wanted I could find a little girls teddy bear. I forgot all about it by accident and when I saw her my heart sank. If a game can do that it is well made.
I just realized I've never heard any bad language in your videos. That's especially nice for me since I watch your videos with my kids in earshot and I don't have to worry about it!
I used to have a little swearing in my older videos...but stopped a few years ago when I met little kids and their families at conventions. Realized I don't need to swear unnecessarily to get my points across.
I have had a 3DS Capture for ~7 years now. The USB port is very fragile because the original modder used cheap ports - BUT it's relatively easy to swap. I repaired mine. Don't toss it if it doesn't work!
That’s such a cool upgrade. I’ve been playing my 3DS so much more lately now that the store is closing and I’ve been scooping up all these old games. Be great to one day add that port for streaming. Word up you’re in the comments of all my favorite channels. 👊🏼
cheap ports? they where surface mounted. no other way to design it more compact and stable. they are not made for ripping around. the boards are still getting produced btw. the mod is just not very easy for amateurs.
Fun fact: a camera obscura is one of the earliest types of camera/projector. It's basically just a very dark room, or box, with a hole in it. We eventually realized that if we could use that to project an image through, maybe we could reverse the process and capture the light going into it (a camera).
Yes, Montezuma’s Revenge at Knott’s Berry Farm still exists, but it is closed for refurbishment until 2023. Rumor has it that they are installing a new, modern launch system, which would be sort of sad because the current system is the last of its kind being a ride that was initially opened in 1978. Love that ride!
I like when you and Reggie do these videos gives me ideas on what to look for I hope you guys do another road trip video soon, makes me wanna come to Seattle for a gaming vacation
mannnn its so great to see reggie and MJ still at it together. was my favorite duo on the channel years ago, and it’s heartwarming to see the two of y’all still chop it up to this day
I have two personal "holy grail" games in my collection. I absolutely love the PS2 era of survival horror games (Fatal Frame 2 still stands as my favorite), and there were two particularly rare games I really wanted for my collection: Rule of Rose and Kuon. I managed to pick both of them up at GameStop when they were phasing out their used PS2 games, and for CHEAP! (Rule of Rose was about $15 and Kuon was $8.) I remember I got Kuon thanks to my mom, who was at the mall where they had it in stock for a district meeting. I asked her to go grab it for me if it was complete, and it was. So yeah... I have both of these games in a fireproof lockbox because they are complete and in mint condition and their worth keeps going up by the year, lol. I will never give them up, though.
I remember talking to someone way back during the days of AOL chat and my friend, who we had similar interests, had bought Rule of Rose sealed copy. Every time that game is mentioned, I think about that.
I used to have Rule of Rose. Incredibly broken game. Worst hit detection ever. I quit playing it and sold it. Wished I’d known it was going to get crazy expensive. I also sold my copy of Haunting Ground for a $100. Now it’s worth triple that. I regret selling that one because it was actually good. I don’t sell my games anymore.
This videos are awesome not only because we can see what you guys are playing, but it gives us, the viewers ideas of what to play: I lost count of how many amazing games I started and never heard of until one of these videos, great job guys!
I love listening to you and Reggie hang out. You're just two good buddies talking about something you're passionate about, and it shows. You make me excited to pick up a new game.

Since you liked Butcher, then you might like Slain: Back from Hell. It does give you a castlevania type feel but with 80’s metal playing in the background. It’s difficult but fun to play!!

And i love the DYNAMIC DUO videos! You two bounce off each so well, you can just see it is genuine. Always entertaining and the long videos never actually FEEL long y'know? All good stuff
Chicken Range for the Nintendo switch is one of those games that will go overlooked for years. I sunk 1200 hours into it on my first playthrough alone and I have yet to start up NG+. Regarding the Doom Limited Run controversy, I think the larger discussion is Limited Run as a company straying from the path the promised to stick to. “Forever Physical” is their slogan and implies that if you buy a game, that is the final version. Never need to update it, but DLC, nothing - what comes in the box is the game in full, just like “old times.” So by requiring the Berhesda login, as well as recently selling another game that had DLC not included, fans of theirs like myself are concerned that perhaps they’re taking their eye off of what made them successful in the first place. Companies have to evolve to be successful, I get that, but when you’ve prided yourself on one thing to your loyal fanbase and then dabble in the opposite it’s certainly cause for concern.
