How to fix & replace a snapped pullstarter cord and snapped recoil spring on small engines and mini

How to fix a pull start on your lawnmower, mini bike, go kart, or any other small engine equipped with one of these troublesome mechanisms. The first part of this video is how to fix or replace a snapped cord or one that just pulled all the way out, and the second half is how to fix the coil spring if it has snapped, meaning that you pull the cord and it just spins with no pulling back. This video does not show you how to recombine a coil spring that has unraveled. If that happened just use whatever you have, duct tape, zip ties, anything, to hold it together so you can place it back into the pull starter.
