how do you work out the uke, piano, bass, AND acoustic parts? I’m curious
I either work out the chords by ear or look them up (by ear in this case cus I had to transpose it lower for my voice), then I just make up the other parts from what sounds good lmao

I absolutely love this song! I watched Grace’s performance a while ago and only recently she actually made music around two months ago! I love her so much! This in my opinion, aside from beautiful thing, is my feel good song! Beautiful thing is something I send to my friends when they’re having bad days, but this song is something I listen to when driving through the beautiful scenery of Savannah Georgia in the US. There’s historical buildings and a mix of modern that still matches the sky lining all near a canal for cargo ships on the Atlantic. Absolutely gorgeous. The perfect place to sit on the sidewalk and just play “So much more than this” and “City Song” for all to hear as they watch street painters and performers. (Also her last name is pronounced like vander-wall :3)
