I know this has been online for 8 years, but I'm hoping either the original uploader or *SOMEONE* can please help me get this fully setup within FL Studio! My goal is to stream myself making music (instrumentals) using FL Studio and OBS! My issue has been due to having too much audio delay when switching from my typical Focusrite 2i2 (2nd gen) audio driver over to the ASIO4ALL driver. I have to switch to ASIO4ALL in order for OBS to pick up the audio coming out of FL Studio. However.. it causes major delay/latency which makes it impossible to play my midi keyboard live! I'm so stupid when it comes to ins/outs and cable connections and I need someone to hold my hand and walk me through the process to make sure I got it all working properly without the delay!
@ the crazy thing is I literally don't even understand your question! I tried to tell you I'm stupid as hell when it comes to INS and OUTS and anything to do with cables and properly connecting gear! I blame it on the fact that the first 20 years of my music career was all in a digital audio workstation! I've never owned hardware or external gear so I've never really needed to care about how all of this works until recently! 😭
i went through the installation and every was fine until i switched to the vb audio cable my sound and mic cut out my normal headset( speakers and mic ) still work but i get no sound whenever i swap back to the vb audio cable
Did you use the installer or the zip file? If you used the installer, go apps under Control panel and uninstall from there. One of the reasons I recommend that over using zip files.

that probably because most people leave their audio at 0db. there isn't a set standard for the internet. commercials always have theirs too high. i think this guys is fine. most other videos i have the volume turned up one click and can hear it, thats like 10 %. and at 100% id be def. 50% should be comfortable listening volume.

Thanks so much I was gonna try to use this software to split my audio and mic input and output from my turtle beach earbuds that have a mic. So far it’s only been reading as speakers so hopefully this lets me use the speakers and mic together. Without buying a splitter cable for real
Hi. I have two questions to ask on which VAC to get. Under two circumstances : Stream game on Twitch, headphone mic + Adobe Audition, and voice chat on Discord Stream game on Twitch + in game chat, Audobe Audition and headphone mic Will the basic VAC be enough or do i need to get the A+B / C+D?
Are you using them in conjunction with Voicemeeter? If so, then you should be fine with one. If not, you may need to get one of the packs of cables in addition to the free one.
Thanks for the vid, good stuff. I use audio cable for comms in SRS while flying DCS and it works fine when recording in OBS. However, I notice at times when I speak on the radio (SRS), I hear an overlap of my voice. Do you think it has something to do with the audio feed from the sim itself which is the desktop?
You can add latency I believe in the controller for it. But, I believe they are a set of fixed amounts. I don't do this personally, so I'm not entirely sure.

DAZ Mimic Live is designed to record live audio only. The software does not allow for a prerecorded audio file to be used as input. You can set up to feed a WAV file in through the mic input, although this is a bit of a PITA. For one thing, you need an external device. Today I learned about the Windows "loopback function." Rather than fool around installing it then using it via the command line, I just set up VB-Audio as the default audio recording device, played a prerecorded WAV file, and used in Mimic Live to lipsync a character. I still haven't figured out how I did it. I hope I can duplicate it tomorrow. Do you have *ANY* idea how long it took me to stumble across that? EDIT: Oddly, after that once it failed consistently. I'm not certain why. I'm told the function was intentionally disabled by MS. Too bad.

Also, I am so overwhelmed and frustrated because I have the program, set everything up how I was told to set it up (VoiceMeeter Banana) and I can't get 2 bluetooth devices to work at the same time like others can do. I have an issue. . I installed vb audio ASIO Bridge/ hi fi cable for my dj software im running on window's 7.. i managed to get it running but when id finished it uninstalled itself. Is there any way i can save the program for future uses cos i found it a pain to do in the first place.. so i installed the asio4all bridge to run my cable which is the berringer u222 audio usb for one channel on my external mixer and i used my pc internal hd audio output for the other channel.. i have the hi fi cables installed in my devices folder for future use.. im running cross dj pro 3.4.3 software but when i logged out i had to setup the bridge and cables again.. can u advise if u can save the configuration somehow.. thanks mart
Where is the documentation for this software? I can't even find simple instructions like how to route signal in the ASIO Bridge. I see the signal blinking on 3/4 on the input green LEDs but can't find out how to send it or use it or anything.
My Voice Meeter has Output 1 on mic and Output 2 on VB Cable output but my cable is picking up my mic and playing that instead of a program I’m running. Any ideas what is wrong?
@Nick Díaz It should be listed on output devices in Voicemod as "Speaker (VB Audio Cable, Cable A, B)", depending on which ones you have. That is how it is listed on mine.
you want to first change your mic to the cable and change your audio to the cable to the thing is doing that will do so you cant hear anything "at least from what I know of for now"

Hey so I use the VB-Cable through spreaker to allow me to use skype and take calls without having to use a mixer. Laptop, head set mic, plug and go easy. I was successful installing this and setting it up on this laptop, however I was trying to install it on another laptop and ran into some issues. I was able to download and locate the files for the cable. Following directions like I did the first time..right click to run as administrator..except right click didn't give me that option in the drop down menu. I could open, etc, but no run as admin. Anyone have any thoughts on why this is? What I could do to fix it? Appreciate any help.

It would be helpful if you showed your actually settings. You did not even click on the cable settings to see. There are several tabs and any of these tabs could have an issue like mine is now working so I wanted to see your setup but you mostly show installing software, not the setup.
@@FrugalStreamer There are no dedault settings. EVerybody's computer could have various settings based on hardware, software or the user. For you, the settings you already had might have worked, but others like me might need to change something. Knowing what you have exactly (like sample rate, bits..) could help. I had mine working fine, then I rebooted my machine and now it won't work. I uninstalled it but still no joy. I using it in Adobe Audition and OBS. I don't see any signal in windows sounds panel. It seems the cable is not passing the signal to other applications.
@@FrugalStreamer OK fixed! It was an issue with Adobe Audition. Solution for me was to create a new multitrack file. Basically start from scratch. New file. Then turn on output to Cable, then it worked fine. Looks like my project file got corrupted somehow. Lost hours today on this. lol. SMH
So now that I have Discord outputting to a virtual cable, how do I get the audio to feed into my headphones? Obviously changing my default device to that virtual audio cable is not the answer because I wanted to separate the audio from discord from the audio of my games in the first place.
I'm confused as to how to do this. How can I point the audio from discord to my headphones and still hear my game audio on my headphones? Is there a program I need to use to bring everything together?

Does FL Studio allow you to output from a different interface then your input interface?

@Mista808 What inputs to FL studio currently? You have to have some device controlling the inputs for each of the tracks.

Quite possible. You could momentarily mute the game audio while speaking to see if that is happening.

Maybe you have monitor this device checked in Windows and it is going to your cable, or you have your mic coming back through VBAN and into IN #2.

Shouldn't your voicemeter settings not work in discord if you are using virtual cable out in discord rather than voicemeter?

I have a question, I'm trying to get this to work with voice/video calls in facebook, still can't, even after setting chrome to use the cable output as its default input source. My problem is I'm using "Guitar Rig" along with ASIO4ALL, which don't allow the computer to use anything with sound while they're running, any clue how to get around that? Cheers.
i've tried just DL the BVC off the website and it doesn't work, i just went into the donation side and apparently i have to play $18 CA dollars for 2 BVC's
It would be helpful if you showed your actually settings. You did not even click on the cable settings to see. There are several tabs and any of these tabs could have an issue like mine is now working so I wanted to see your setup but you mostly show installing software, not the setup.
Settings are default.
@@FrugalStreamer There are no dedault settings. EVerybody's computer could have various settings based on hardware, software or the user. For you, the settings you already had might have worked, but others like me might need to change something. Knowing what you have exactly (like sample rate, bits..) could help.
I had mine working fine, then I rebooted my machine and now it won't work. I uninstalled it but still no joy. I using it in Adobe Audition and OBS. I don't see any signal in windows sounds panel. It seems the cable is not passing the signal to other applications.
@@FrugalStreamer OK fixed! It was an issue with Adobe Audition. Solution for me was to create a new multitrack file. Basically start from scratch. New file. Then turn on output to Cable, then it worked fine. Looks like my project file got corrupted somehow. Lost hours today on this. lol. SMH

So now that I have Discord outputting to a virtual cable, how do I get the audio to feed into my headphones? Obviously changing my default device to that virtual audio cable is not the answer because I wanted to separate the audio from discord from the audio of my games in the first place.
I'm confused as to how to do this. How can I point the audio from discord to my headphones and still hear my game audio on my headphones? Is there a program I need to use to bring everything together?
