The problem with using the wooden peel to both launch and server is that you'll need to clean it between pizzas. I usually just serve the pizza onto a separate board.
Are there any plans for a scale or a rocker blade with a solid blade (without the holes for your hand)? I have the Dome and the pro peel, love them both!
Hello, i have the gozney arc (not Xl) what's your recommendation. Should i use 12" or 14"? At the Moment i use a noname peel with about 34cm so its beetween this two. The 14" could maybe be too large. With the 12" im afraid to bake too small pizza :D
There are various elements that can affect this. If you have wood inside, if you're using the arch, etc. All of that shrinks the interior. Which we learned the hard way 😂
My only issue with wood is that I'm a mess pizza maker and one drop of sauce on the peel turns that non stick surface into glue. Even if I throw some flour to dry up the sauce it still sticks. This is, however, a me problem. 😂
bought my peel for £20 on amazon it does exactly what these ones with flash green paint and useless labels do. the way some people will waste their money is astonishing.
Cheap peels lack the same surface treatments and have no where near the same release qualities as the Gozney Pro peels or better still, peels from Gi Metal. But glad you’re happy with your basic model. Ford sells a lot of cars.

You believe is ok to use the arc dome indoor but with a good ventilation? I am thinking about my bar and I have a 2m doors open all the time .
Is there any advantage to having a rounded edge for shaping vs square edge?

I have this peel, I’d say it’s about a little over 2 feet total in length, about 60 cm.
I initially bought the balance peel, it was ok it got me started. Recently got the pro peel, it’s like night and day oh my god nothing sticks to it.
It would be nice if they actually had the 14 inchers for sale.

What’s the difference besides more perforation between the balance and pro placement peels? Is the pro more non stick or something?
yes, a better anodizing which creates a slipperier surface.

14” or 37cm is a great size for the Arc XL
