- We go threw a few small tips and tricks on how to cook eggs on the Blackstone griddle. These are very easy and great for someone who has never cooked on a griddle before. These are the same tricks we used in the restaurant industry for those busy Saturday morning. I hope this helps a few of you out in your future cooks.
Really hope this guy is ok and makes a return! Amazing videos and great personality! God bless!
What happened to him?
I don't think any one knows. This is his last upload
Best griddle content on YT. No b roll or insta flash. Feels like rapid on the job training. 6 minutes and im a multifaceted cook with pro moves. Thank you.
Thank you David! I try and keep it to the point!
@@truenorthcafe5090 hope you are doing well man! Just stumbled on the channel. Love it! Was born in WI myself.
Love your stuff, keep it coming!!!!!
Definitely need toast for those over easies. Another outstanding tutorial!! Thank you
Agreed, we call them dip eggs at our house! Couple eggs couple pieces of toast and you got a situation!
Love your videos. Hope you make some more soon.

Idk I'm wondering the same thing
This channel is something else. Your personality, the flow of the videos. It really is amazing for a relaxed late night TH-cam binge Also weirdly enough, comforting. Hope you and the family are well. Godspeed fellow from the true north.
He hasn't uploaded or commented in the last 9 months 😥😥
What happened to this guy
Awesome channel
Hoping for more vids soon
From Queensland Australia
you make it look so easy bro, i cook on my blackstone all the time trying to be like you, 1 day i'll get there. Practice practice practice
Got that Spam trick to keep the griddle clean from you a long time ago!! It works great been using it ever since Thanks!!!
Awesome! 😊
it's *Pam Spray, but I'm sure True North Cafe has Spam recipe too.
Please make more videos. Love what you’ve done here.
Respect. The over-easy is my fovorite, but also the one I screw up the most.
😊🤙
Makes me want breakfast anytime of the day. Great cook chef.
Thanks Zeb
Yeah!!! low temp, clean griddle. Keep the content coming. I need more videos to Thumbs Up!
Those looked great. I keep watching and learning.
Absolutely the best cooking content period.
So layed back and confident!! Drop the the spatula. The man is back!❤. We got us a situation here. (We can’t quit smiling)!! Please don’t leave us again. You were missed. Wisconsin is back on the map people👍👊😁
Thank you so much
I didn't see this in your video collection but one suggestion would be to make would be to create a video of your set up I noticed you used to be in your garage but now have a vary clean awesome looking room you built or had built. But anyhow it would be nice if you made a video of the layout just an option for more content! keep up the great work your channel is growing!
Your channel is awesome. I was so inspired I just purchased a "steelmade griddle" so that I can cook using your techniques in my Houston apartment. They don't allow grills (Per my lease) so a flat top griddle over the stove is the next best thing. Hopefully soon I'll be having my own situation!
Thank you for this. Great pointers
Your welcome Sean
Nothing like breakfast on a griddle, nice job!
😊
All your video’s are awesome to watch and have great tips and idea’s to show. Miss seeing new video’s, I really enjoyed your woods cams and your camping video’s
Hope you come back and keep posting!!
broski where you been? Cook us up something we're hungry
Good video! Gonna be up your way at Round Lake Hayward area end of next month. September into October. Hitting Chemauquan Bay a day or two probably also.
I am new to cooking on the Blackstone but noticed my eggs would get discolored. I tried your advice with the Pam and it works. Thank you so much and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Also too hot. Grill doesn't need to bubble n sizzle.
New to your channel and you are the Blackstone King.I have learned so much from you.
Thank you so much!!
Love your videos, so many great ideas.
I just came across this channel today and I’m really liking the cooking videos on the griddle! Definitely looking into investing into one. Hope all is well 🙏🏽
Another great vid. Thanks for sharing. You really do make it look easy.
I could sit down and eat everything you cooked. Haha. I love breakfast foods. Well, I like them for dinner too.
Absolutely delicious lookin breakfast! Your griddle skills are unmatched. Keep up the great work brother 👍
Another amazing job Chef!
Love the videos. At the same time, I miss them. Lol. Watched them all.
Sir, Me thinks that knowledge came through living the job. I was a short order cook for three months about forty years ago. To this day, I enjoy cooking/bbq/souis vide and on the list goes. Great skills to have and I have been cooking my eggs on the hash browns like an egg/hash brown burrito type thing for months now after watching one of your popular videos. Thanks for the learnings!
Thank you Mantz
No new videos in two months! Where ya’ been?!
The omelet is the one I need to work on. Tried the hash brown omelet and needed a little more egg but you make it look so easy. Thanks again for the vids. They're quite helpful.
That’s what it’s all about. 🤙
I made the Hash Brown Omelet too, it was very good, my family loved it, it would take practice to judge visually how much potatoes you need for the amount of eggs you have, I just judged the size by watching his video and using my spatula to judge the size rectangle I needed and my eggs were a little smaller so I just poured as far as I could go, then whipped up one more egg to cover then just pushed the rest over toward the beginning and smoothed it out. It was a Hash Brown Omelet so I was expecting more Potatoes than Omelet. Personally, I like runny egg yolks in my hash browns with lots of salt and pepper, but I thought I would try his recipe for the Family.
Edit: my family loved the potatoes on the outside, they put some sour cream on the omelet, I forgot to add that.
Man I finally buy myself a Blackstone… Find your channel ~ and you’ve been gone for months😢 Gotta say, I’ve watched every vid more than once. Come back🙏🏻!!!!!
Bring the griddle vids back!
Love the Vids. Gonna get me a Blackstone or equivalent here in Australia. Don't care what you cook - just love your set up, banter and your classic phrases... "Pop Pop Pop" .... "We go ourselves a situation". BTW - love your flipping skills! Dang!
Awesome channel channel and great info! Do you have any plans to make a video on your kitchen set up? Looks pretty bad ass, would love to see a video on what that's all about!
BAM! Flavor Town!
Your videos have taught me so much!
Great video, excellent cooking. Thanks for sharing.
Great Video! Smashed the Like button!
We need more content, brother
You really do a great job on your videos. They're informative & fun to watch, & everything looks so good! You make it look so easy!! 👍✨️❤️
We appreciate ya Dianne!
Man your content is great!
Would love to see a video of your kitchen and set up
I usually use that non cook sticking spray to fix my roof, but heck, I'll try it on the griddle.
That's great Dale from England nice job
Miss your videos sir. Hope you and your family are well. God bless!
I'm liking the backyard kitchen surroundings. Is that some sort of patio, or outdoor kitchen? Looks comfy. You ought to do a Behind the Scene episode and let us check it out.
All videos are A+ and are so genuine. That seems to be a rarity these days. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Your friendly Viking neighbor to the west
P.S.
We need some “That’s a situation right there” merch.
You are awesome brother, nice job.
Love a tour of your cooking area if you make videos again
Excellent. Why Oam? My griddle does not stick anyway.
New subscriber, and hello from Minnesota. Your griddle vids are very good! Since football season is just around the corner and the Vikes and the Pack will be butting heads again, do you have any tailgating recipes? Thanks!!
That was beautiful
Nice and white, no black. Perfect is what my grand daddy used to say
😊✌️
I like that there's no B roll, great ingredients. Since there hundreds of cooking channels the only thing I would change is editing the content in half. Although everyone does the same thing so possibly most viewers enjoy the longer shoot. Bottom line great post
Breach in the beaver dam! 😂 excellent cooking💥 pow pow pow
Crispy Hash browns on the side 🔥🔥
🤙
Just wanted to add…. We all miss you brother….
Where'd this guy go? Anyone know???
Yum! Just subscribed 👍🏼🇺🇸
Great cooking show.
I miss your TH-cam show
Did you move?
I sincerely hope all is well with you and your family!!
Hey man? Any more videos coming up???
Simple and straight forward! Really enjoy your videos
Hey Brother, any chance that you will be coming out of hibernation anytime soon? We sure miss your videos. Hope all is well. Steve
Yeah buddy!!
😎
Do you have a video of your room build or is that just part of your garage??
Where ya’ been? You haven’t quit TH-cam I hope!
Hey anyone know why there’s no more posts on his page?
yummm
😊
Where can I find a John Prine poster like that?
What size Blackstone is that?
Are you inside during the cold? Can we see your setup?
'Ey we have a situation here, no new vids.
I see you know what good eggs taste like!!! 😍I notice on all the eggs and omelettes you cook, the eggs are not burned(brown)! I hate when I’m order omelettes and they serve up the brown eggs!!!
Do you ever check your heat with a IR thermometer? If so what temp do you like for cooking your eggs? Thanks, Love your channel
no vid in 6 months? bro you ok where are you???
I need a griddle like that for making smashburgers.
👍👍
🤙
Any upcoming videos planned?
Not sure if you have answered this in the past. Really wondering about your setup. It looks like you are cooking indoors. I don't see much smoke being generated. I live in a cold weather state and think it would really tough for a Blackstone to sit outside all winter. How do you handle it in WI?
where are you ? i love your videos, why don't you post anymore ?
What kind of hash browns did you use?
why aren't you doing vids anymore, we need more!
Just tried my Blackstone for the 1st time with breakfast foods. I seasoned it exactly to the advice, 5 times before use, took bout 2 hours. Man those eggs stuck like glue! Like velcro peeling them off, they became scrambled eggs. Does it just need more use to not stick?
We love your channel! But doesn’t look like you’re busy on it anymore come back and make more videos!
When you coming back on line??? Miss your content
"Bump"!!!!!!
Don't leave us!!
Thanks for this video - very nice. Just to be clear - do you have your heat set on the very lowest setting? How long did you preheat? Thoughts about using butter (in addition to or instead of non-stick spray - I know butter is one of your keys for hash browns)? Dang this makes m hungry! Really helpful!
He says LOW…what don’t you understand about that?
Hey David, yes low as it will go! Sometimes if I think it’s to hot I will turn the burners off! If I get it to cold I can aways turn them back on! I hope this helps
@@truenorthcafe5090 Hey - thank you! I appreciate your courtesy! Great videos - I look forward to them.
Just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos.
Wanted to mention @meatchurchbbq just gave you a shoutout for your hash brown omelet video in his flat rock video.
Everyone’s got things going on in their life but hope to see you back posting videos some day as we all miss them.
I know life gets in the way, but how about some new videos? I enjoy your channel.
Sure miss your videos
We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press. This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.
Where you at?
Medium heat?
Whats your location ??? I need to try this
How many eggs were in the omelette?
