You pre lighten Shoukd have been lighter , still can see some gold / green hints which happens when blue silver toners are put on pre lightened hair that stil has yellow in it . Yellow and blue make green ….. the root area looks great !
Toner is there for a reason! I’m doing the steal gray thing right now myself. I’m doing it slowly, to let my hair recover a bit in between liftings, but do what works for you!
You have to lift it first? I'm such a novice. I was thinking to do the Metalic gray meant for brunettes right on my natural brown and grays and hoping for a highlight/lowlight look. 🤷🏻♀️
It looks great!! Being a hairdresser myself and even before I became a hairdresser I always used myself as the guinea pig for both hair coloring and haircuts, and for different types of hair extensions. I always figured I would rather see how a product worked on myself then on someone else. Lol Also a side note about when you colored your hair the silver, it most likely would have covered better in the back of your hair if you had started in the back as it's more resilient. But I do absolutely love the white/silver color, which is what mine is, actually I am in need to color mine. ❤
Well it looks great! You had me worried for a while. The pics after the session are amazing! Second application I assume! Condition like crazy now!!👏❤️
Hi there! LOVE the color on you! How long does it last and does it yellow on you? I’m growing out my gray and am sooooo tempted to just do something like this!
All based on the color wheel and ur starting out point which is the Canvas (hair) like painting a picture certain colors cannot go over some and most crayons change when applied over so what u start with is important and to get silver u need hair as light as possible Going dark is easy going dark to light is a challenge😊❤
That color looks amazing on you! I came here looking on how to dye my hair to blond from Grey, but you look "Smokin'" hottt! Wow! I don't like all my grey and I mostly have brown on the top. I growing it out now and it's all the same length to my shoulders and thought about long and loose blond curls like a surfer...lol. I don't think I am attractive and need all the help I can get at my age! Please help, what do you think or recommend a style?
Looks great. By any chance did you go at it again the next day? I'm in a weird place color wise right now. Last year loved my platinum blonde. It's gotten to the point where my hair wants to more yellow. I use blonde purple shampoos and just not where I use to be. 😢 Are we ever happy 😂 I will subscribe though. Thanks for sharing 🎉
Looks good, is this permanent? I have bought box dyes that claim to be permanent silver/grey but are not , 3 washings and its gone and my hair is light in color so I expected it to hold it ...
I've been trying to get my hair gray for about a year now. I finally found the perfect tone, but eventhough the box says 'permanent hair color', it washes away after about 3-4 washes. Eventhough I' m using the purple shampoo, my hair, on the bottom half, becomes like a lite brown and the upper partt, a honey color. I went to a beauty salon to have it colored gray professionaly, thinking that would solve it, and the same thing happened. Considering low lights. I do have some gray hair on the front and the sides., it blends in with the honey color. I have thin hair, it is cut neck high short, longer wave (gets curly) on the top. Watching you from Puerto Rico.
I naturally have this very strange color of dark mushroom blonde where the hair already looks kinda grey...mixed with a very toned blonde...my hair lacks the yellow and gold...for many years I played with color---from black to brown to dark brown, to reds (horrible), then to the fun colors---dark teal blue, bright green, leafy green (just add some dark brown to the green), to dark blue, light blue, pink, purples, periwinkle (silvery/purple)...but I dont need to actually bleach my hair being that my natural color is already a go-to canvas. The best version of grey/silvery hair is to use Wella to tone it. T-18 mixed with 050.....using 10 volume developer. That works to get the whole head the same silver color...after that is just purple shampoo and I used that anyway since my natural shade are cool shades...regular shampoos and conditioners will only deposit things that will turn it yellowish over time so I avoid them...
As a cope professional colleague your number one issue with not getting the color you want is that you’re not lifting your natural hair enough the fact that your hair was already level 89 and you re-bleached it with 20 volume again and it still wasn’t light enough tells me that the bleach that you’re using is the issue And also making sure that you protect your hair by adding Brazilian bond protect or Ola Plex bonding oil once your hair is lifted to a level 10 the color of the inside of a banana peel then you can reconstruct and you’ll get the exact tone that you want as long as your hair porosity is equalized so the ends don’t take faster than the roots
Silver is going to look awesome on you, once your hair is light enough not to look muddy underneath. I think you needed to tone out the yellows before doing the silver. Otherwise that would have been a killer look!
you know what your doing but I would be scared to bleach my hair and have a hard time finding a hair dresser to take the light brown color from my hair : ( I like the grey color in your hair
Ive been tryin to and Wella isnt working anyone noticed wella says "Toner" and to use 20 volume like no one uses 20 usually its 10 Dev with toners therefore Wella line is COLOR not an actual toner im finding out i just did wella T18 and additive 050 with 10 dev (instructions say use 20 though) but idk didnt want it to burn bc it was just with the 10 volume a little on top hmmm urs looks good though❤😊
The color at the scalp/3-4 inches from scalp looks great (because it was lighter when you bleached it, also because it was the healthiest part of your hair) the mid-shafts look really muddy because it wasn't lightened enough (too brassy) the ends didn't really take well because it is damaged. So basically it looks like crap!(3 different colors) Problem is your a professional and you said its the brand you use in your salon, I really hope as you being a professional you would think it turned out okay? It's not! It looks like something a teenager tried to do after having box dye on their hair they bought at a drugstore then took a trip to Sally's and bought some color based on an employee's suggestions (they aren't even professional/licensed) and did it in your bathroom and now you think you can do hair? Sorry but ,am I 100% correct....
Hi! I’m not dying my hair this colour, but found myself drawn to this video for some reason- I realized as I was watching, that I’m supposed to let you know: Even though you have been church hurt and deterred from the Living God of Christianity, He still hears your prayers you make in your heart and wants to have a relationship with you. I hope you have a blessed day! 💜
uneven result. thats ash blonde not silver. why did you not allow your hair to lift to base 11 as you are applying a toner above your base level. why use a 20vol developer to tone. you only need to use 10v to deposit tone. oh and it looks a bit dry and brittle.. other than that your eye makeup is lovely and your camera work and production are nice.
You have taken on an entirely new look and it turned out great...this is your color.
It looks much better silver; really suits you! Good effort regardless of what other effers say!
Your gray hair looks so fantastic you are beautiful! And actually it enhances you completely. You better stick with it!
You look lovely with this silver colour ,amazing .💜
Thank you so much 🙂
You pre lighten Shoukd have been lighter , still can see some gold / green hints which happens when blue silver toners are put on pre lightened hair that stil has yellow in it . Yellow and blue make green ….. the root area looks great !
I love the silver gray white hair look

You did a good job my dear! I like a silver blonde on you than a yellow!
That final color looks great on you.

Hi there! LOVE the color on you! How long does it last and does it yellow on you? I’m growing out my gray and am sooooo tempted to just do something like this!
I do not know anything about hair color but I like what you did. Question. Why bleach? Why not go straight from blond? Thanks x your help.
Awe thank you. I needed to bleach because my hair wasn't quite light enough to get the silvery color I was going for
All based on the color wheel and ur starting out point which is the Canvas (hair) like painting a picture certain colors cannot go over some and most crayons change when applied over so what u start with is important and to get silver u need hair as light as possible
Going dark is easy going dark to light is a challenge😊❤
It looks GOOD! Thanks--this was really helpful.
I love how it turned out🤩

You can use a purple shampoo now on the ends.

Very nice color on you..
Love it,I'm gonna go for the same look..
I did it once and got scared halfway through. I did get my hair platinum and yellow. I guess I should bleach it again!!!🤔😫🤔 we shall see tomorrow
you know what your doing but I would be scared to bleach my hair and have a hard time finding a hair dresser to take the light brown color from my hair : ( I like the grey color in your hair
light brown s easy to bleach.. you only need to go a few levels..
Do you need to dye your hair gray after bleaching it or can you just use silver toner
Alot of critics in here. She did a good job. Some us DO have yellow or orange tones, AT FIRST.
My mom wants to dye her hair grey. She has brown hair. Will these products harm her hair or put this way help
If you put another round of the silver toner on would it cover more or not?
Wow huge sections! You may have some problems coming up 🙀
I use 40 developer ……my pigmentación is strong for orange
You didnt tone the yellow out ..need to us a toner before the color
Does the bleach you use have a bonder built into it?
Gorgeous ❤
Where did you get those contacts?! 🙏
hey. I do believe these contacts were from TTDEYE
very beautyfull.i like
Do you have a follow up?
Lovely!
I love it!

thank you so much for your kind words. I am battling with my feelings and beliefs on this subject.
Heck No that's Not Silver !
I swear by adore’s Demi permanet silvers it works better than permanet silvers
Pin pin the best notification squad ❣️
I don’t think I could be a hair dresser. The sound and consistency of hair color reminds me of milk of magnesia. 😝
Hahahaha. Milk of magnesia that's too funny
Are you a hairdresser? Roots must be done at the end...
Chenice hair
Leave your hair alone. Love to see it totally natural nicely cut and conditionrd. Give it a try
Good thing she didn't ask you😂
😱

thank you for your input. and also thank you for the lovely compliment on my eye makeup and camera work. I truly appreciate it all.
And you're a rude B$#&
👩🦳👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Very patchy. Your bleach application wasn’t the best so the silver is patchy. Hairdresser in the UK
Hot roots and uneven coverage throughout. Looks like a “color at home” job. Not impressed
H8r
'Not impressed' as if you're the prissy nobody to impress 😂 in a comment section full of "it looks great!' You ma'am, are a bona-fide pick me 😂
Do you know what hot roots are?
I bet you’re a blast at parties!
Maybe try to not express every nasty thought that pops in your small mind.
Because it is an at home job 😂
Has anyone told you, you're the dead spit of Cate Blanchett😮
Awe wow.. no I've never been told that. Thank you ❤️
Uhh still yellow as hell and looks nothing like the photoshopped thumbnail picture… honestly disappointed and not impressed.
that is NOT silver lol that is ash blonde
Pretty!
Too much yellow
Looks amazing! Love it❤
Love it.
